Lorraine C. Camp, 83, of Midlothian, died Sunday, September 8, 2002. She was the widow of Donald Wilson Camp. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Sue Camp. She is survived by her daughter, Lorie Ann Southall and her husband, Valentine Southall of Amelia; and her son, Robert Wilson Camp and his wife, Karen Camp of Ridgeland, Mississippi. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rachel, Catherine (Kate) and Valentine Southall and Matthew Camp. Lorraine loved to play golf, play bridge and to be with her friends. Robert B. Davids (Robbie) of Richmond died September 8, 2002. The son of Joel E. and Margie R. Davids, he is also survived by his brother, Jeffrey and his wife, Sharon Davids; sister, Traci Davids; and niece, Kendall Davids. Frances Legare Fore, 49, passed away on September 4, 2002. Formerly of Richmond, she had lived in New York City since 1980, where she pursued a career as a fashion stylist. She attended Stratford College and received a degree in Art Education from Averett College. Surviving are her husband, Adam J. Gewanter of New York City; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Legare Fore of Richmond; and a brother, Rodger Clarke Fore of San Antonio, Texas. A memorial service will be held in Richmond at a later date.

Elizabeth Ann McKinney, 79, of Richmond, died Sunday, September 8, 2002. She is survived by five children, Karen M. Till and her husband, William, James A. McKinney and his wife, Dale, Maureen M. Kane and her husband, James, Kevin J. McKinney and Meghan M. Davis and her husband, Lin; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. John Isham McLean, 85, of Prince George, died at his home on Saturday, September 7, 2002. He is survived by his two daughters, Barbra L. McLean and Mary K. McLean; and two grandchildren, K. Blakely Rawlings and Austin M. Rawlings. A native of Roland, N.C., he was the son of the late Ernest McLean and Dula Mitchell McLean, and was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Ardelle Knight McLean and three brothers, George, Earl and Horace McLean. John was a 50-year member of Joppa Lodge No. 40 A.F.&A.M., Richmond, Va.; a member of the Richmond Scottish Rite Bodies and ACCA Shrine; a past president and 50-year member of the Petersburg Lion's Club; a Director of the Board of First Federal Savings Bank of Virginia since 1972; and a devoted member of the "Up-The-Hill Gang." John was founder and president of McLean Tom's, Inc. from 1946 to 1999. The family received friends in the McLean home on Monday evening. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held in Christ & Grace Episcopal Church on Tuesday, September 10 at 3 p.m. The family will receive following the service in the Parish Hall. Lt. Col. Henry S. Palmer, 92, of Reedville, widower of Teresa P. Palmer, died Sunday, September 8, 2002. He is survived by two daughters, Nancy Palmer Cobb of Omaha, Neb. and Christine Palmer Burkett of Irving, Texas; four grandchildren and one great-grandson; one sister, Constance Palmer Winchell of Arizona. Roy Lee Perkins Sr., 83, of Midlothian, retired employee with the State of Virginia, went to be with the Lord September 9, 2002. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth L. Perkins; two sons, Roy Lee Perkins Jr. and his wife, Dinah and Garland W. Perkins and his wife, Susan; four sisters, Gladys Collins, Vanessa Harris, Ruth Carson and Edith Hickman; four brothers, Lester, George, Ernest and Lawrence Perkins; two granddaughters, Stephanie Kingery and her husband, Sean and Dana Lee Baker and her husband, Chase; three great-grandchildren, Hunter, Morgan and Logan; also two stepgrandchildren, Heather and Dustin. Mr. Perkins was a member of Fine Creek Baptist Church. He was a veteran of WWII, a D-Day survivor, Purple Heart and Oak Leaf Cluster recipient and a member of Albartram Chapter No. 55 of DAV.
