Jeanine Arnold Coleman, 57, of Richmond, formerly of Wythe County, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998, in the Stuart Circle Hospital in Richmond.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 14, at 1 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Home Chapel in Wytheville with the Rev. Larry Brooks and the Rev. Don Crockett officiating. Interment will follow in the West End cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her father, Peyton Kelly Arnold.
Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Vickie Sue Coleman, and Lori and Phillip Cannon, all of Richmond; a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Cindi Coleman of Richmond; her mother, Bessie Harmon Arnold of Route 2, Max Meadows; a sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Sonny Porter of Max Meadows; a brother and special friend, Larry Arnold Sr. and Sue Harden of Wytheville; six grandchildren, Kari Cannon, Cori Coleman, Rusty Tipton, Jason Fiffick, Stevie Coleman Jr., and Jackie Coleman; one step-grandchild, Amber Lethco; a special friend, Calvin Vickers of Richmond; and 10 nieces and nephews.

Jessie Mintora Gravely
Jessie Mintora "Dollie" Gravely, 76, of Max Meadows, the Fox Mountain Community, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 1998, in the Wythe County Community Hospital.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 13, at 3 p.m. at the Gravely Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Aleene Akers officiating. Interment followed in the Draper Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church cemetery.
She was born in Wythe County a daughter of the late William Henry and Margaret Diana Asten Chrisley. She was a member of the Gravely Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She is survived by her husband, William Estel Gravely of the home; five daughters and sons-in-law, Myrtle and Alfred Hughett of Pulaski, Ruby Marshall, and Tinnie and Mike Marshall, all of Georgia, Jane and Ronnie Cofer of Georgetown, Tenn., and Mary and Berlin Cook of Austinville; four sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Glenna Gravely, Doug and Joyce Gravely, all of Max Meadows, Allen Gravely of Radford, and David and Marsha Gravely of Max Meadows; two sisters, Bessie Earhart of Wytheville, and Frances Wright of Akron, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Lena Chrisley of Max Meadows; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Edward Lee Gravely of Austinville, and Margie Marie Gravely of Wytheville; 35 grandchildren, and 40 great-grandchildren.

Frank M. "Ikey" Greer Jr., 72, of Rural Retreat, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 1998, in the Wythe County Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Feb. 15, at 2:30 p.m. at the Lindsey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Countiss officiating. Interment will follow in the Mountain View cemetery in Rural Retreat. Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post No. 229.
He was born in Marion, the son of the late Frank M. Sr. and Ruth Spence Greer. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the Rural Retreat United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Della Long Greer of the home; one daughter, Patricia R. Greer of Archdale, N.C.; one granddaughter, Christy H. Cox of Thomasville, N.C.; two great-grandsons, Kyle Cox and Christopher Cox; and one sister, Louise G. Testerman of Rural Retreat.
Flowers will be appreciated or memorials may be made to the Rural Retreat United Methodist Church or the Rural Retreat Emergency Services.

Edith Marie Dunford Ingo, 86, of Wytheville, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998, in the Birdmont Health Care Center.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, Feb. 14, at 11 a.m. at the Odd Fellows cemetery with Jack King officiating.
She was born in Wythe County the daughter of the late Hugh and Mariah Arnold Dunford.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul P. "Pat" Ingo; and a son, Charles Ingo.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Frances and George Cook of Chester; a daughter-in-law, Frances Ingo of Richmond; four grandchildren, Gail Morris, Wayne Ingo, David Ingo, and Henry Ingo; four great-grandchildren; a half-sister, Cordie Aker of Route 3, Wytheville; a half-brother, Leslie Dunford of Wytheville; and several nieces and nephews.

James Edward Jones Sr.
James Edward "Jimmy" Jones Sr., 85, of Wytheville, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 1998, in the Wythe County Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 16, at 1 p.m. at the Bethel AME Church with the Rev. Leonard Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakwood cemetery. The body will be taken to the church one hour before service time.
He was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., the son of the late Henry and Alice Jones and was a member of the Bethel AME Church. He was retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad.
He was preceded in death by a son, James Jones Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia M. Jones of the home; a son and two daughters-in-law, Rodney and Lori Jones of Wytheville, and Lilly Jones of Asbury Park, N.J.; a sister-in-law, Lucille Ward of Wytheville; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Clifford Benjamin Lineback, 75, of Wytheville, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998, in the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Salem.
Graveside services and interment will be held Saturday, Feb. 14, at 2 p.m. at the Epworth Memorial Methodist Church in Cana with the Rev. Wayne McMillan officiating.
He was born in Carroll County, a son of late Wiley T. and Mary Ellen Easter Lineback. He delivered produce in the Cana and North Carolina area and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion Post No. 9 and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Lewis Lineback, W.H. Lineback, and Wiley T. Lineback Jr.
Survivors include a brother, Glenn E. Lineback of Clemons, N.C.; and five nieces.

Ruth T. Pickle, 77, of Abingdon, formerly of Rural Retreat, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 1998, in the Johnston Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 13, at 4 p.m. at the Lindsey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Briggs officiating. Interment followed in the Mountain View cemetery in Rural Retreat.
She was born in Burkes Garden, a daughter of the late Robert and Alice Hoback Thompson. She was the widow of Leonard Earl Pickle.
She is survived by two daughters, Margaret E. Spraker of Route 3, Wytheville, and Alice K. Roberson of Galax; two sons, Robert P. "Bobby" Musser of Rural Retreat, and Edward E. Pickle of Abingdon; three sisters, Bessie Bane and Mary T. Hall, both of Rural Retreat, and Lorraine Haden of Missouri; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one stepgrandchild, and three step-great-grandchildren.

Eula Mae Crouse Tickle, 86, of Bland, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 14, at 2 p.m. at the Newberry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Hyndrich officiating. Interment will follow in the Robinette cemetery, Bland.
She was a daughter of the late Lemuel Henry Franklin Hue Anderson Crouse and Sarah Ollie Joines Crouse. She was a member of Saint Matthews Lutheran Church since 1935 and an associate member of the Trinity United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Lee Smith and Bertie Alvirda Hage; one brother, Henry Maston Crouse; one niece, June Lee Smith Leonardi; three infant brothers; and her husband, Ewing Tickle.
Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Guida Rea and Charles Wilson Lefler of Salem, and Vera Lene Tickle of Bland; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Sabrina Lynn and Teddy Doyle Lee of Salem; and one great-grandson, Chess Matthew Lee of Salem.

Jennifer Tickle Warden, 48, of Bland, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 1998, in Twin County Regional Hospital.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 13, at 10 a.m. at New Life Worship Center with the Pastor Leon Goad officiating. Interment was in the Bland cemetery.
She was born Nov. 11, 1949, in Bland.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Duncan of Radford; three daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Mike Gossett of Greensboro, N.C., Donna and Rick Akers of Bastian, and Holly Morris of Bluefield; a son, Rusty Warden of Greensboro, N.C.; her mother, Virginia Tickle of Bland; a sister, Beth Tickle of Galax; three brothers, Larry Tickle of Norfolk, Kenny Tickle and Linwood Tickle, both of Bland; and four grandchildren, Bryan Gossett, Caleb Gossett, Joel Akers, and Matthew Morris.

Randall Texas "Tex" Etter, 79, of Crockett, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 1998, in the Wythe County Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 19, at 1 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Home Chapel in Wytheville with Jack King officiating. Interment will follow in the King's Grove cemetery.
He was born in Wythe County, a son of the late Floyd N. and Ida King Etter, and was a lifelong resident of Crockett. He was a member of the King's Grove United Methodist Church and was a retired farmer.
He was preceded in death by a sister Yevette Malan, and a brother, Harvey S. Etter.
Survivors include his wife, Ann H. Etter of the home; two daughters and son-in-law, Donnie Etter Crockett of the home, and Connie and Alfred D. Eversole of Wytheville; two grandsons and spouse, Jeffrey A. Eversole, and Randy and Rita Crockett, all of Wytheville; one great-grandson, Dalton Crockett of Wytheville; a sister and special friend, Corine Malinoski and Edward Bear of Baltimore, Md.; a brother and sister-in-law, Landy K. and Greta Etter of Crockett; and several nieces.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Feb. 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Home.

Virginia Jacocks, 76, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 21, at 11 a.m. in the cemetery at Draper Valley Presbyterian Church in Draper.
She was born Dec. 3, 1921, in Pulaski to Joe Mack and Arlie Rose Alexander.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claud Jacocks.
Survivors include two sons, Alex Jacocks of Edmond, Okla., and John Jacocks of Fairfax; a daughter, Ellen V. Jacocks of Houston, Texas; and five grandchildren, Eric A. Jacocks, Marc R. Jacocks, Elizabeth M. Jacocks, Brittany V. Jacocks, and Mary Carter Jacocks.

She was born in Wythe County, a daughter of the late John Harvey Manuel and Annie Quesenberry Manuel. She was a member of the Graham's Forge United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Manuel, and David Manuel; and a sister-in-law, Ethel Manuel.
Survivors include her husband, John H. "Bus" Jones of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth Ann and John Hubbard, Patsy Jean and Mike Hart, all of Graham, N.C., and Sherry Lynn and Roddy Davis of Randolph, Vt.; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael Wayne and Brenda Jones of Burlington, N.C.; six grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Merkey and Ben Harmon, and Peggy and Richard Collins, all of Max Meadows; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Helen Manuel of Pulaski, Kenneth and Roberta Manuel of Speedwell, Carl and Joyce Manuel of Salem, Irene McHone Manuel of Elon, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
