Mary Katherine "Kat" Lineberry, 67, of Chesapeake, Va., formerly of Austinville, Va., died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2002.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003, at 11 a.m., at the Reese Funeral Home Chapel, Austinville, Va., with the Rev. Jack Sheets officiating. Interment will be in the Bethany cemetery.
She was born May 26, 1935, in Wythe County, Va.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Kenneth Lineberry Sr.; her parents, Austin James and Carrie Webb Grimes; a daughter, Ovella "Bo" Bateman; and a son, James Lineberry.
Survivors include three daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia and Jack Sheets of Virginia Beach, Va., Dinah Lineberry of Williamsburg, Va., and Wanda Marshall of Virginia Beach, Va.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Julian Kenneth Jr. and Sherry Lineberry of Norfolk, Va., and Michael Gerald Lineberry of Chesapeake, Va.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Raymond Grimes of Austinville, Va.; one sister, Marie Coble of Wytheville, Va.; four half brothers, Cleavie Grimes, Bruce Grimes, Olen Grimes and Dwight Grimes, all of Low Gap, N.C.; and four half sisters, Clara Golding and Eula Martin, both of Low Gap, N.C., Luevennie Grimes of Mt. Airy, N.C., and Peggy Grimes of Low Gap, N.C.
The family will receive friends Friday, Jan. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Reese Funeral Home or at the home of Ronnie and Karen Shinault in Austinville, Va., at any time.

Irene Poole Repass, 74, of Wytheville, Va., died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 4, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Mitchell United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Billingsley officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to service time.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence R. and Nettie Smith Poole; a brother, Harold Poole; and her first grandson, Edwin Christopher Repass.
Survivors include her husband, Edwin Grover Repass; one daughter, Melinda D. Repass of Christiansburg, Va.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie and Barbara Repass of Radford, Va., Donnie and Kathy Repass, Terry and Sherri Repass, all of Wytheville, Va.; 10 grandchildren and a spouse, Kim Repass, Melissa Trump, Sarah Trump, Brian and Mary Pat Repass, April Repass, Evan Repass, Todd Repass, Audra Repass, Tina Repass and Tara Repass; one sister-in-law, Mary Katherine Poole of Brookhaven, Pa.; a special cousin, Elizabeth Jane Walters of Wytheville, Va.; and many nieces and nephews.

Mary Cline Robinson, 77, of Wytheville, Va., died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003, in Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Va.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan. 5, at 2 p.m. in the Grubb Funeral Home Chapel, Wytheville, Va. Interment will be in the Evergreen United Methodist Church cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe G. Robinson; and her parents, Robert Wesley and Maggie Stevens Cline.

Norma Jean Wolfe, 68, of Bland, Va., died Monday, Jan. 13, 2003, in the Wythe County Community Hospital, Wytheville, Va.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 17, at 2 p.m. at the Gillman Funeral Chapel, Wytheville, Va. Interment will be in the Hoges Chapel cemetery, Bland, Va.
She was retired from Tultex where she was employed for 25 years.
She is survived by her husband, Sam Wolfe of Bland, Va.; three daughters, Karen Rose of Goochland, Va., Marie Scott of Pennsylvania, and Rowena Surratt of Wytheville, Va.; two sons, Jack Scott of Washington, and Wade Oakes of Bastian, Va.; a sister, Connie Deel of Jacksonville, N.C.; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Ronald H. Kitts, 65, of Spotsylvania, Va., died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003, at Bowling Green Health Care Center.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, Jan. 12, at 2 p.m. at Kenner Kitts cemetery, Bastian, Va., with the Rev. Robert Billingsley officiating.
He retired from nursing after 35 years. He was honored by different organizations for his writing of poems and stories, which he had various ones published and he was a regular contributor to The Free Lance Star opinion page.
He is survived by two sisters, Vickie K. Rouse of Spotsylvania, Va., and Shirley K. Edwards of Bowling Green, Va.; a brother, Jerry W. Kitts of Dalton, Ga.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a student at Fort Chiswell Middle School and was a member of the Fort Chiswell Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Joann Crockett Hodges; and his great-grandmother, Magdalene Crockett.

Robyn Lee Bralley Terry, 69, of Warner Robbins, Ga., died Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, in the Medical Center of Central Georgia.
Graveside services were held Sunday, Jan. 12, at 2 p.m. at the Williams cemetery, off Route 94, with the Rev. Larry Cline and Junior Dunford officiating.
She was born in Wythe County, Va. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and was a retired employee of Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover C. and Edith Hurt Bralley; a sister, Helen Bralley Haga; and two brothers, Thomas Oakland Bralley and Jack Bralley.
Survivors include two sisters and a brother-in-law, Shirley and Clyde Holland of Ridgeway, Va., and Ruth Samples of Fort Valley, Ga.; one brother, Rex Bralley of Rural Route, Wytheville, Va.; a sister-in-law, Jo Ann Bralley of Bradenton, Fla.; a brother-in-law, Bane Haga of Ridgeway, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

Douglas Jasper Thomas
Douglas Jasper Thomas, 70, of Montcalm, W.Va., formerly of Bastian, Va., died Sunday, Jan. 5, 2003, in the Princeton Community Hospital, Princeton, W.Va.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 9, at 2 p.m. at the Bastian Union Church with the Rev. Lee McIntosh officiating. Interment will be at the Rose Hill cemetery, Bastian, Va. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Bland and Giles American Legion and V.F.W. Posts.
He was born Sept. 16, 1932, at Bastian, Va. He served his country for 23 1/2 years in the U.S. Army and was a staff sergeant. He was commander of the Bland V.F.W. Post No. 7969 from 1985 to 1991.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper Earnest and Maggie Neal Thomas; a sister, Frances Hull; and a brother, Donald Thomas.
Survivors include one brother, William Arthur Thomas of Montcalm, W.Va.; two sisters, Jewell T. Richardson of La Belle, Fla., and Ruby T. Munsey of Montcalm, W.Va.; and three nieces and three nephews.
