Della Wyrick Banks, 94, of Waldorf, Md., formerly of Rural Retreat, Va., died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2003, in the Genesis Elder Care in Laplatta, Md.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 27, at 1 p.m. at the Lindsey Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Retreat, Va., with the Rev. Cindy Baxter officiating. Interment will be in the Speedwell United Methodist Church cemetery, Speedwell, Va.
She was born in the Riner section of Montgomery County, Va.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond M. Banks Sr.; a son, C. Frank Banks; her parents, the Rev. David Franklin "Jack" and Anna Wheeler Wyrick; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include one son, Raymond M. Banks Jr. of Waldorf, Md.; a granddaughter, Briana Banks of Waldorf, Md.; two sisters, Katherine Wassum of Bluefield, W.Va., and Elizabeth Harler of Kingsport, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Sept. 27, from noon to 1 p.m. (service time) at the Lindsey Funeral Home.

Harold Kramer Schroeter, 65, of Rural Retreat, Va., died Monday, Sept. 1, 2003, at his residence.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 4, at 8 p.m. at Lindsey Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Retreat, Va., with the Rev. Jim Jenkins officiating.
He was born in St. Louis, Mo., and was a retired chief master sergeant with the United States Air Force.
He was preceded in by his parents, Bruno O. and Celina Kramer Schroeter; and a brother, Bruno Schroeter.
Survivors include his wife, Jayne K. Hall of the home; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ken and Maria Schroeter of Long Island, N.Y., Matthew K. Hall-Schroeter of the home; two daughters and a son-in-law, Eileen and Sandy Thomas of Dallas, Texas, and Meghan K. Hall-Schroeter of the home; two grandchildren, Aidan Schroeter and Luke Schroeter; two sisters and brother-in-law, Marilyn Bradshaw of Harrisonville, Mo., and Cathy and Terry Eichenseer of Boise, Idaho; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Sept. 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. (service time) at the Lindsey Funeral Home or at the residence at any time.

Charles C. Anderson, 86, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2003, in Corbin, Ky.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, Nov. 13, at 11 a.m. at Cedar Bluff Baptist Church in Atkins, Va., with the Rev. Eddie Beck and the Rev. Grady Byrd officiating. Burial will be in Rose Lawn cemetery in Marion, Va. Masonic rites will be conducted by Marion Masonic Lodge No. 31 A.F.&A.M. The body will be taken to the church one hour before the service.
He was born Sept. 19, 1917, in Grayson County, Va., a son of the late Nathan Fields Anderson and Lessie Parks Anderson. He was a member of Cedar Bluff Baptist Church.
He supervised the construction of several roads in the area including parts of Interstate 81 and updates to Route 11 in Abingdon, Va. After retiring from Richard E. Phillippi Construction Company, he worked as a consultant for the Commonwealth of Virginia overseeing the construction of improvements to the Virginia Highlands and Groseclose Airports.
He was a member of the Marion Masonic Lodge No. 31 A.F.&A.M. where he had served as master, the Lynn Commandry No. 9 where he had served as commander, the Marion Royal Arch Chapter No. 54 where he had served as high priest and was also a 32nd Degree Mason and member of the Kazim Temple.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bess L. Anderson; one daughter, Pansy Fulton; five brothers, Henry Anderson, Glen Anderson, David Anderson, James Anderson and Kenneth Anderson; three sisters, Mary L. Adams, Kate Stephenson and Nell Sanders.
Survivors include two daughters and three sons-in-law, Carol and Mike Musser of Rural Retreat, Va., Nancy and Bobby Keyes of Corbin, Ky., and Rodney Fulton of Roanoke, Va.; two sisters, Maxine Bullins of Sugar Grove, Va., and Ruth Silver of Chilhowie, Va.; one brother, Stephen Anderson of Troutdale, Va.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Funeral Service Chapel.

She was born in Wythe County, Va. She was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter; her parents, Charles James and Louisa Reed Hoback; and a brother, Numia Fay Hoback.
Survivors include her husband, Steven R. Bonham Sr. of Wytheville, Va.; a son, Steven R. Bonham Jr. of Wytheville, Va., and his special friend, Candy Parks, and her daughter, Andy Parks of Atkins, Va.; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Billy R. and Mary Jane Bonham of Charlotte Hall, Md., and S. He was born March 22, 1928, in Winston-Salem, N.C., a son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Margaret Wooten Naylor. He was a member of the Fort Chiswell Church of God and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Alma Jackson Naylor of the home; one son, Lewis Gray Naylor Jr. of Max Meadows, Va.; one daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Curtis Bratton of Pulaski, Va.; two brothers, Burley Naylor of King, N.C., and Walter Ray Naylor of Tennessee; two sisters, Roberta Jones of Ashboro, N.C., and Pauline Woods of Virginia Beach, Va.; and one grandson, John Michael Alford Jr. of Wytheville, Va.
