Thomas Benjamin Blatt, Jr., 75, of Bowling Green, died Monday, December 12, 2005 in VCU Medical Center, Richmond. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas B. Blatt, Sr. and Elsa Moter Blatt. A lifelong resident of Caroline County, he graduated from Hargrave Military Academy and Randolph Macon College in Ashland, where he was captain of the baseball team. He was also a member of Lamda Chi Alpha fraternity. Later, he also played for several area semi-pro baseball teams. He was a Past Master of Kilwinning-Crosse Masonic Lodge 2-237 AF&AM;, member of the Shrine and an Elder in Milford Presbyterian Church. After graduating from college, he became a partner, with his father, at Blatt Chevrolet, Inc. in Milford. After his father's death, he operated the dealership until his retirement in the late 1980's.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Anne Puller Blatt; three children, Lynn Blatt Jordan, Thomas Blatt, III and his wife, Lynn (L.P.) and Kimberly Blatt Grant; three grandchildren, Justin Jordan, Thomas Blatt, IV and Jo Elsa Jordan.
A funeral service will be Wednesday, December 14 at 11:00 AM in Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green, with burial to follow in Lakewood cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Tuesday, 7:00-9:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bowling Green Rescue Squad or Milford Presbyterian Church.
Felton R. Beazley, 70, of File in Caroline County died Monday, December 5, 2005 at Bowling Green Healthcare Center.
Survivors include his uncle, Alfred Beazley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 8, at Storke Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kevin James officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Baptist Church cemetery, Sparta.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, December 7, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bowling Green Rescue Squad or to Salem Baptist Church.
Everett McKinley Nazelrod, 61, of Ruther Glen, died Saturday, December 3, 2005 in Mary Washington Hospital. He was a four tour veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, retired United States Maring Corps and Virginia Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; a son, Michael Everett; a daughter, Cheryl Ann Grimmius; a brother, Edward; and two sisters, Esther Johnson and Elizabeth Dixon. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Hazel Nazelrod; his sister, Eleanora and five brothers, Ervin, Ernest, Ellis, Eston and Earl.
Everett loved his Lord God, his family, his dog, Na-Nook, fishing and hunting and he will be sorely missed. Gone but never forgotten by ALL of his loving family. Everett was a proud member of the VFW and Moose Club . We will always have you in Spirit and our memories, Everett. No longer will we have to look down at you Everett, but rather look up and when we do, we will only have smiles on our faces knowing that one day, we too will all be together again. Semper Fi!
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2005 in the chapel of the Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green, with Dr. Fred Skaggs officiating.

Mary Campbell Cook, 90, of Cook's Mill (Smoot's Mill) in Caroline County, died Thursday, December 1, 2005 in Westport Convalescent Center, Richmond. She was the widow of Davis L. Cook, Jr. and was a long time member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include several cousins, nieces and nephews and longtime friends, George and Virginia Ellis and Barbara and Dick Hylton.
A graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, December 4 at 2:00 PM in Greenlaw cemetery, Bowling Green, with Rev. David Johnson officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church Endowment Fund, Bowling Green Rescue Squad or Bowling Green Fire Department.
Ruby Peyton Jones, 96, died Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at the home of her son, Morton A. Jones, Jr. of King GeorgeCounty, with whom she resided.
She was the widow of Morton A. Jones, Sr. and had been an active member of Oakland Baptist Church, where she served as secretary-treasurer and pianist for the Sunday school.
She was the postmaster at Chestnut Hill Post Office in King George and also operated Jones Supermarket and Chestnut Hill Motel.
Besides her son, she is survived by her granddaughter and her husband, Jennifer and David Zander; and four great grandchildren, Kaylah, Chelseah, Savannah and Sailor.
A funeral will be held Saturday, December 3, at 2 p.m. at Oakland Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dwight C. Storke, Jr. and the Rev. Cliff Hedges officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Beverley Crump Pratt, 91, of Port Royal, Virginia, died November 20, 2005 at Mary Washington Hospital. He was born at "Camden", in Caroline County, Virginia on May 9, 1914, son of Richard Turner Pratt and Courtenay Tayloe Crump Pratt. He attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and the University of Virginia. He received a law degree from National Law School in Washington, D.C.
He served in the U.S. Army during WWII as a Captain in the Field Artillery in the European Theater of Operations. He was awarded the Bronze Star. Upon discharge in 1945, he remained in the Reserve and practiced law in Bowling Green, Virginia. In 1948, he married
Doris Powers of the adjoining "Cedar Creek" farm. When the Korean conflict began in 1950, he was called to active duty and was stationed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as an assistant professor of an R.O.T.C. unit.
Returning again to civilian life in 1953, for twenty years he served as Vice-President and Trust Officer of High Point Bank and Trust Company in High Point, North Carolina. He retired in 1980 to "Cedar Creek". Beverley was a trustee and former Vestry member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Port Royal, Virginia.
He is survived by sons, William B. Pratt of Atlanta, Georgia and wife, Linda; Charlie P. Pratt of Charlotte, North Carolina and wife, Kathy; John R. Pratt of Port Royal, Virginia and wife, Anita; grandchildren, Michael R. Pratt and Margaret R. Pratt of Port Royal; sister-in-law, Frances B. Pratt of Fredericksburg, Virginia; nieces, Barbara Pratt Willis of Fredericksburg, Frances (Robin) Pratt Willis of Niceville, Florida, and Alice Pratt Moter of Bowling Green, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Powers Pratt, a son, Thomas T. Pratt, a brother, Richard T. Pratt, Jr. and a sister, Henrietta Pratt.
A funeral will be held at 2;00 PM Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Port Royal, Virginia with the Rev. John Wall officiating. Richard Charles Watson, 82, of Erie, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, November 20, 2005 at McQuire Veterans Hospice Center in Richmond, Virginia. Born in Erie, he had retired as a painter and wallpaper hanger. He was a WWII veteran having served in Germany and Japan, was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish, became an Eagle Scout at Holy Rosary, in Erie, and later was a Scout leader there. He was a square dancer with the Erie Y-Squares and Lake Erie Banjo Jammers. He and his wife bought a one-room schoolhouse, called the Love Road Schoolhouse, and made a home there for 45 years. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rose Mary Arnold Watson and a daughter, Christina Marie Watson.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey Watson of Erie; his daughter, Mary Ball of Milford, Virginia; his son, Thomas Charles Watson of Erie; three grandchildren, Brian P. Ball, Joshua N. Ball and Jaime C. Ball and two great grandchildren, Josee Snellings and Isaac Snellings.
A funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 23 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, with burial to follow in Laural Hill cemetery. The family will receive friends at Kloecker Funeral Home, Erie, 7:00 - 9:00 PM with a Rosary service at 6:45 PM.
William M. Seay, 93, of Chilesburg, died Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at Bowling Green Health Care Center. He was the widower of Kathryn Butler Seay, a retired employee of American Tobacco Company and the oldest member of County Line Baptist Church.
Survivors include his brother-in-law, Conway Butler and his wife, Betty; his sister-in-law, Sylvia Gonce; two nieces, Alma Allen and Genevieve Satterwhite; three nephews, Henry Seay, Broaddus Satterwhite and Howard Harvey.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 18 at 11:00 AM in County Line Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. James D. Callahan, 72, of Woodford, formerly of Uppper Marlboro, Maryland died Saturday, November 12, 2005.
Survivors include his wife, Romaine T. Callahan; a daughter, Kim Davis, four sons, Douglas, Ricky, Greg and Scott Callahan; four sisters, Sarah Beichler, Mary Mahon, Sally Ann Reynolds and Vedora Callahan; a step-daughter, Theresa Philmon and a step-son, Steven Todd; fifteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 16, at 2:00 PM in Thornburg Baptist Church, with Rev. John Love and Rev. Ernest Cornwell officiating. Burial will follow in County Line Baptist Church cemetery, Ruther Glen. The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday, 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
Ida M. Nash, 84, of Ruther Glen, died Thursday, November 10, 2005 in Mary Washington Hospital. Born in Caroline, she was the widow of Reginald Nash.
Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Wedding of Ruther Glen; a sister, Margaret Beazley of Milford; two grandchildren, Richard Wedding, Jr. and Nicole Wedding; and six great grandchildren.

Garry Carneal Smith, 98, of Ruther Glen, died Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at her home. Born in Caroline County, she was the widow of Zack F. Smith and was a member of Ladysmith Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Donald, Ronald and Cecil Smith, all of Ruther Glen; a sister, Myrtle Lichtenberger of Petersburg; eight grandchildren, Donald Smith, Wanda Tatum, Kenneth Smith, Pamela Smith, Angela Smith, Cindy Goforth, Lisa Baxter and Missy Stallard and seventeen great grandchildren.

Royal L. Krantz, 69, of Ruther Glen, died Wednesday, November 2, 2005 in St. Mary's Hospital, Richmond. Born in Campbell County, he had retired as the owner of Krantz Steel Co. in Richmond, was a member of the Tuckahoe Moose Lodge and enjoyed restoring old cars.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his companion, Edith Knowles; his daughter, Tamara Krantz of Richmond; two brothers, Kenneth and Charlie Krantz of Lynchburg; two grandsons, Nathan and Clinton Fleming; a special niece and aunt, Michelle Harris and Eleanor Dunn of Lynchburg and Edith's children, grandchildren and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Frances Krantz; his son, Royal L. Krantz, Jr. and two sisters, Vanessa Cowart and Juanita Krantz.

Crisanta C. Andrews, 64, of Bowling Green, formerly of Manassas, died Saturday, October 29, 2005. Born in New York City, she was employed with the IRS in Washington, D.C.
Survivors include her husband, Warren Andrews; her mother, Loreto Jaime of Bowling Green; two children, Margie Miller of Mobile, Alabama and Matthew Andrews of Bowling Green; two step children, Mike Andrews of Michigan and Mark Andrews of South Carolina; a brother, Rudy Cornejo of Reston; thirteen grandchildren, Donna Miracle, Rachel Miller, David Miller, Joshua Andrews, Laura Miller, Austin Andrews, Courtney Chan, Emily Andrews, John Andrews, Mark Andrews, Robbie Andrews, Jessica Miller and Shawn Andrews and a great grandddaughter, Audrey Miracle.
