Harold "Harry" W. Lietzan
A resident of Laurel, DE, died December 24, 2008, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Buffalo, NY a son of Harold and Margaret Ellis Lietzan who predeceased him. Mr. Lietzan served nine years in the US Navy. He also had a welding shop in Laurel for several years. He retired from Chesapeake Utilities in 1994. He was a member of the American Legion Post# 28 in Millsboro and served as Chaplin for two years. He was also a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge #27 and Rebekah Lodge both of Laurel. He was a charter member of the Seaford Christian Church and a member of The Christ's Church of New Hope.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a sister, June Smith of California. Harold is survived by his wife of 58 years, Josephine Walsh Lietzan; his daughter, Charlene and husband Lee Glasco of Georgetown; a son, David Lietzan and wife Nieca of Laurel; 4 grandchildren, Eric Glasco and wife Joan, Matthew Glasco and wife Collen, Adam Lietzan and Emily Lietzan; 3 great-grandchildren Nathan Glasco, Justin Glasco and Alex Glasco; his brothers, Ronald Lietzan of West Falls, NY and Richard Lietzan of Lockport, NY; his sisters, Marian France of Colden, NY and Norma Erhardt of Louisville, KY along with several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at the HANNIGAN, SHORT, DISHAROON FUNERAL HOME, 700 West St Laurel, Delaware 19956 on Monday December 29, at 2 pm, where a viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Internment with military honors will follow in Spring Hill Memory Gardens in Hebron.

Richard J. Logullo, Sr.
Age 61, of Dover, DE, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, December 26, 2008, surrounded by his family.
Born in Wilmington, Richard was the son of the late Joseph and Victoria (Florioli) Logullo. A graduate of Dickinson High School, he served his country in the Delaware Army National Guard. For over 20 years, he worked at the DuPont Louviers site as a coordinator of the print department. For the past 17 years, he enjoyed working side by side with his family as the owner of Logullo's Country Market.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 41 years, Christine (Bralski) Logullo; his sons and their wives, Dr. Richard J., Jr. and Ann Logullo of Milton, DE and Dr. Mark and Aimee Logullo of Middletown; his daughters, and their husbands, Melanie and Donald Lattomus of Middletown and Kimberly and Buddy Whitlock of Clayton; 4 grandchildren, Mark and Marissa Lattomus and Andrew and Skylar Whitlock; and his brother, Joseph Logullo, Jr. and his wife, Holly of Galena, MD.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon, on Tuesday, December 30, at St. Joseph's Church, 321 East Main Street, Middletown where family and friends may call from 10:30 am until the time of the service. Interment will follow at All Saints cemetery, Wilmington.
Elizabeth H. Lord
Of Harrington, DE, age 89, died December 26, 2008, at Genesis Seaford Center.
Elizabeth was born in Greenwood, DE to the late Ebe and Ida Hamilton. Mrs. Lord was a homemaker. She loved to read extensively, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were her life, and she loved them immensely. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who will be sorely missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Lord; brother, Henry Hamilton; and a sister, Dorothy Laughery. She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Zott Bruno of Millsboro; grandsons, Hunt and Eric Hackett; great-grandchildren, Brielyn Hackett, Sydney Hackett, and Connor Hackett.
Funeral services, Tuesday, December 30, at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, at 11 am. Visitation, one hour prior to the service. Interment in Hollywood cemetery, Harrington.

Joseph P. McNutt III
Mr. Joseph P. McNutt III, age 83, of Newark, DE, formerly of Princeton, WV, died on Thursday, December 25, 2008 at his home with his immediate family.
Mr. McNutt was born in Princeton, WV on February 26, 1925, son of the late Joseph P. McNutt II and Marie Dudley McNutt, and was a 1942 graduate of Princeton High School. He was inducted into the US Navy and served with the original crew of the USS Midway as an aviation ordnance man during WWII. After his honorable discharge, he attended Bluefield College and married
his wife, Pattye Lovell McNutt. They moved to Blacksburg, VA, where Mr. McNutt attended Virginia Tech, graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1950. He accepted a position with the DuPont Company and became a Mechanical Consultant at the Louviers Building in Newark, DE. During his 25 years of service with DuPont, he was awarded several patents for mechanical devices and surface measuring techniques. He was a registered professional engineer in Delaware.
In 1959, he developed the Wedge Hills community with three other Virginia Tech graduates at DuPont. He built his home there and lived there with his wife for the rest of his life. Upon retiring from DuPont, he and his wife founded Testex, Inc. The company makes replica tape which has become the international standard for measuring surface profile and is used worldwide in the industrial painting and printing industries. Mr. McNutt enjoyed playing tennis and played every week with friends and neighbors until illness prevented him from continuing. He stayed very active throughout his retirement working outdoors with his grandson, hiking, bird watching, and traveling internationally with family and friends.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Pattye; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ellen and Robert Stachnik; grandson, Alex Stachnik; brother and sister-in-law, Al and Margaret McNutt, of West Hills, CA; and sister-in-law, Noma Bruce of Lakeland, FL.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE. Interment will be held privately in Princeton, WV.
