Evelyn B. Sharpe (Precious) died June 10, 1997. She is the widow of Leslie B. Sharpe and is survived by two daughters, Nancy L. Stratton and Betty J. Waldron; two sisters, Mary Weaver and Pat Norton; one brother, Pete Wells; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. Mrs. Sharpe was retired from Division of Motor Vehicles. Her remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Central Chapel, 3801 Augusta Ave., where the family will receive friends Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Graveside services will be held Friday, 2 p.m. at Riverview Cemetery.

Mr. Byron (Barnie) Stemen, age 53, of Richmond, died Monday, June 9, 1997. He is survived by his wife, Diana Stemen; four children, George D. and Paul J. Stemen, Rebecca L. Egan and Tammy M. Stemen; three grandchildren, Courtney and Mikki Egan and Matthew Stemen; his parents, Kent and Emma Stemen; one brother; and one sister. William "Bill" H. Trevilian, age 70 of King William, Va., formerly of Middlesex County, died June 11, 1997. survived by his wife, Virginia "Bernice" R. Trevilian; a son, Thomas A. Trevilian Sr. and his wife, Rose of Farmville; a grandson, Thomas A. Trevilian Jr.; three sisters, Elizabeth T. Ballis of Johnson City, Tenn., Josephine T. Erwin and Virginia T. Taylor, both of West Point; five brothers, Charles L. Trevilian of Locust Hill, Va., Barton Paige Trevilian of Williamsburg, Thomas Richard Trevilian Jr. of Richmond, Benjamin Franklin Trevilian of Hartville, Va. and Harvey Coles Trevilian of Urbanna. Mr. Trevilian was a member of Landmark Baptist Church. Family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Laburnum Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 2110 E. Virginia Mae Walbridge, 91, formerly of Denver, Colo. died June 8, 1997 at the Pine Village Care Center in Ft. Myers, Fla. She is survived by a niece, Louise Waters Rodden of Bon Air, Va. Burial will be private.

Mary Hazel Wall, 84 of South Hill, Va., widow of Charles Emory Wall, died June 11, 1997. She is survived by two daughters, Joyce W. Wright of South Hill, Betsy W. Walter of Virginia Beach; two sons, Charles M. Wall of Lexington Park, Md. and William H. Wall of South Hill; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lenis Lett Hall of Bracey; Mrs. Wall was a member of South Hill United Methodist Church for 72 years. The family will receive friends at the Clarke Funeral Home, Kenbridge, Va. Josephine Lisagor Weinberg, 89, of Richmond, died Tuesday, June 10, 1997. She was the widow of Max Weinberg and is survived by her daughter, Sharon B. Ellis; three grandchildren, Ronald B. Swerkes, Jennifer R. Smith and Karli M. Sharp; one great-granddaughter, Samantha Lynn Swerkes; sister-in-law, Minnie Lisagor; brother-in-law, Sol Weinberg; two nieces, Sandra Deitz and Carol Aranoff; four nephews, Barry, Richard, Mark and Michael Lisagor; numerous cousins and loving friends. Mrs. Weinberg and her husband ran J & S Market on 32nd St. in Church Hill, after which, she became a leasing agent with General Services Corp. at Westover Hills Apts. until her retirement. She was an accomplished pianist who volunteered her services to Temple Beth Israel and its choir, the Jewish Community Center and the Grand Tones, and McGuire V.A. Medical Center. She also played for Shakie's Pizza Parlors and Alton's Country Steakhouse. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Bliley Funeral Home's Central Chapel, 3801 Augusta Ave. Interment Hebrew Oakwood Cemetery.

George William Wilson Sr., 72, of Keysville, died Wednesday, June 11, 1997. He is survived by his wife, Frances Leadbetter Wilson; three daughters, Hilda W. Ferguson, Appomattox, Carolyn W. Shook, Charlotte Court House and Margaret W. Taylor, Keysville; two sons, George W. Wilson Jr., Crewe and Glenn Wilson, Dundas; three sisters, Josephine W. Carter, Farmville, Mary W. Hardy, Keysville and India W. Meadows, Farmville; seven grand children. He was preceded in death by his father, Gideon M. Wilson; his mother, Carrie Fitz Wilson and a brother, Robert S. Wilson. Nell Marshall Wimbish, 91, died June 10, 1997. Mrs. Wimbish was the widow of Raymond L. Wimbish, State Supervisor of Pupil Transportation for over 30 years, who pioneered the red flashing lights in use nation wide. She is survived by her son, Judge William L. Wimbish; daughter -in-law, Julia McGranahan Wimbish; grandchildren, Maj. William L. Wimbish Jr. (U.S. Army), Marshall Scott Wimbish and Mary Reaves Wimbish; great-grandson, William L. Wimbish III; and sister, Christine Marshall Smither. William Frank Burton, 69 of Montross, died Thursday, February 6, 1997. Mr. Burton and his late wife, Norma Carpenter Burton, owned and operated the Burton Ford of Montross for many years. Mr. Burton was a member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church, Heathsville, the Temple Lodge #9 AF&AM of Richmond, Past Master and member of the Heathsville Lodge #109 AF&AM, and the Westmoreland Lodge #234 AF&AM, Kinsale, also the ACCA Temple and the Scottish Rite Bodies. Mr. Burton was also a WW II Navy veteran. Surviving is a son, William Stevenson Burton of Richmond; a daughter, Kristie Burton Booze of Buchanan; two grandchildren; brother, John E. Burton of Heathsville. A funeral service will be held at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, Heathsville at 11 a.m. on Saturday February 8, 1997. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight at the Welch Funeral Home, Montross.

Died February 6, 1997, Elizabeth Dunnavant Hoyle, 85, of Richmond. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Waverly V. Dunnavant Sr. She is survived by her husband, I. Destanee Rane Estes, 2 1/2 years of Richmond, departed this life Wednesday, February 5, 1997. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Tommie Helen Estes and is survived by her mother, Kelley C. Estes; her father, John Gregory Estes; her brother, Austin Estes; grandparents, John and Beverly Cramer, Rodney Estes and Dee Garrett; several aunts; uncles; cousins; and great-grandparents. She also left behind several other people, whose lives she touched. Destanee was an angel, sent from Heaven, and now, God has called her home. We will always love and miss her.
