Brady Glenn Wilson, 87, of Bristol Virginia died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, in Bristol Nursing Home.
He was born in
Johnson County, Tenn., a son of the late Jess and Alice Wilson. He was a retired meat cutter, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Hunt Memorial United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Louise Irwin Wilson; a sister, Lillie Anderson of Blountville; a brother, Ray Wilson of Blountville; two nephews; and three nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in Weaver Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Richard Hale will officiate. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery in Knoxville.
Among survivors are sister-in-law Margie Wilson of Blountville; nephews Don and Mike Wilson, both of Blountville; and nieces Mrs. Mickey (Doris Ann) Hamed of Bristol Tennessee, Mrs. Herbert (Linda) Bates of Blountville and Agnes Geisenhaver of Fairfield Glade, Tenn.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until service time Wednesday in Weaver Funeral Home.
Jesse T. Baines
MORRISTOWN, Tenn. -- Services for Jesse Thomas Baines will be conducted Thursday at 8 p.m. in the Fall Branch Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home. The Revs. Ralph Benfield and Miles D. Baines will officiate. Graveside services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in National Cemetery in Mountain Home.
Mr. Baines of 722 Jarnigan Ave. died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at his home.
He was a son of the late Goldie and Elmer Baines and the widower of Nora Golden Baines. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and retired as terminal manager for Mason Dixon in Kingsport, Bristol and Morristown after 36 years of service. He was a member of Morristown Baptist Tabernacle Church and a life member of VFW Post 9683 of Morristown.
Surviving are two daughters, Lynn Barnette of Bristol Tennessee and Marty Collins of Mosheim; a son, Randy Rich of Baileyton; a sister, Mildred Anderson of Fall Branch; a brother, the Rev. Miles D. Baines of Fall Branch; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Baines was also preceded in death by two brothers, Paul H. Baines and Beryl S. Baines.
Among survivors are sons-in-law Charlie Barnette of Bristol Tennessee and Kyle Collins of Mosheim; daughter-in-law Sandra Rich of Baileyton; and special caretaker Denise Barrett of Morristown.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday in Fall Branch Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home.

KINGSPORT -- Funeral services for June Fleming Beverly will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. in Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. William Kendrick will officiate. Burial will be in Charlie Sowards Memorial Cemetery in Flemingtown secton, Route 3, Clintwood.
Mrs. Beverly, 88, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, in Holston Valley Hospital and Medical Center.
Pallbearers will be nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be Millard Artrip, Gary Artrip, Jerry Artrip, Clinton Phillips and Gerald Triplett.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service Friday in Clintwood Funeral Home.
Vivian G. Butt
ABINGDON -- Graveside services for Vivian G. Butt will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum, Knollkreg Memorial Park in Abingdon, by Campbell Funeral Home. The Revs. Bill Rowland and Betty C. Reiff will officiate.
Miss Butt, 83, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at her home.
She was a lifelong resident of Abingdon and a member of Abingdon United Methodist Church. She was a retired school teacher and librarian in the Washington County School System.
Surviving are two sisters, Daisy Allen of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Dorothy Gress of Pulaski; a brother, Oscar Butt of Bristol Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.

Robert R. Casteel
Memorial services for Robert R. "Bob" Casteel will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in Weaver Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Casteel, 62, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at his home.
He was born in Bristol Virginia and lived in the Bristol area most of his life. He was a member of Bethel View Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Candy Casteel of Griffin, Ga.; two stepdaughters, Cheryl Head of
Johnson City and Debra King of Jensen Beach, Fla.; a stepson, Buddy Pearrell of Bluff City; three grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and a step-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Friday before the memorial service in Weaver Funeral Home.

Mr. Ferguson, 53, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, in Wellmont Hospice in Bristol Tennessee.
He was born in Kimball, W.Va., a son of the late James Monroe Ferguson and Stella Ester Honaker Ferguson Burnette. He had lived in the Honaker area for the past eight years, was of the Holiness faith and formerly a welder for General Motors.
Surviving are six sisters, Marie McNeely of Hampton, the Rev. Elva Gay Hubbard, Shirley Fay Ratliff and Wanda Sue Yates, all of Honaker, Betty Jean Hall of Marion and Thelma Rhodes of Maryland; five brothers, John Henry Stinson of Little River, S.C., William Robert "Bob" Suits of Honaker, Glen Norman Suits of Evergreen, Ala., Edward L. Suits of Clinton, S.C., and Daryl M. Ferguson of Richlands; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Ferguson was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas J. Suits.
Among survivors are special friends, Axley (Pete) and Janice Stevens of Honaker.
Pallbearers will be nephews and friends.

Mrs. Green, 82, of Grand Court, Bristol, Va., died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, in Bristol Nursing Home.
She was born in Johnstown, Pa., a daughter of the late Alfred C. and Stella McLaughlin Klingelhofer. She had lived in Bristol since 1959. She was a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army Nursing Corps with Johns Hopkins University and served in Australia, New Guinea and the Philippines during World War II. She was a recipient of four Battle Stars and the Philippine Liberation Medal.
She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church and a past president of St. Anne's School PTA. She was a member and past president of Bristol Heart Association and an instructor at East Tennessee State University School of Nursing in the associates degree program.
Surviving are her husband, Dr. Waverly
Green Jr.; a daughter, Dorothy G. Beggar of Creve Coeur, Mo.; a sister, Ann Klingelhofer of Bristol Tennessee; a brother, Robert Klingelhofer of Seattle; and two grandchildren.

NICKELSVILLE, Va. -- Mattie B. Henderson, 87, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, in Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was born in Russell County, a daughter of the late James and Lillie Elam Castle. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Nickelsville for more than 50 years and the widow of W.J. "Bill" Henderson.
Surviving are a daughter, Sherry Tomlinson of Kingsport; a sister, Madeline
Brown of Vincent, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Steve Corder, Greg Corder, Scott Corder, Dara Easterly, Angela Dale, John Collins, Tyler Tomlinson and Dakota Tomlinson; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews
Services will be conducted Thursday at 8 p.m. in Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of Gate City Funeral Home. The Rev. Steve Collins will officiate. Music will be by Danny Dixon. Graveside services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood. Those attending should meet at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m. for the graveside services.
Mrs. Henderson was also preceded in death by two daughters, Doris Salyer and Glenna H. Corder; three sisters, Hazel Smith, Agnes Meade and Ruth Wells; and four brothers, Wayne Castle, Emmitt Castle, Lawrence Castle and James Castle.
Pallbearers will be Ray Corder, John Tomlinson, Steve Corder, Greg Corder, Scott Corder, Tyler Tomlinson, Derek Corder and Wesley Corder.

Carl "Tom" Hutchinson, 80, formerly of Shady Valley, Tenn., died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, in Erwin Health Care Center.
He was born in
Johnson County, a son of the late L.W. and Myrtle McNeill Hutchinson. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was retired from Burlington Industries and the widower of Myrtle Sluder Hutchinson.
Surviving are a son, Mark Hutchinson of Athens, Tenn.; three daughters, Kay Clark of Mountain City, Sue Garland and Lois Hutchinson, both of Elizabethton; two brothers, Lowell Hutchinson of Shady Valley and Bill Hutchinson of Maryville, Tenn.; two sisters, Carol Curd of Shady Valley and Gwendolyn Patrick of Maryville; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in Shady Valley Church of Christ. Jim Sherman and Wesley Simon will officiate. Burial will be in Blevins Cemetery.
