NORTH TAZEWELL, Va. -- Entombment for Shawn Wendell Jaminson Estep will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Greenhills Mausoleum at Claypool Hill.
Mr. Estep, 26, died Monday, Feb. 21, 2000, in a Bluefield, W.Va., hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Pallbearers will be Mark McCowan, Thomas McCowan, Michael Puckett, Todd Puckett, Chris Rose and Scoop Rose. Honorary pallbearers will be his five nephews.

Melvin Thomas Garrett
Melvin Thomas "Tom" Garrett, 44, of Bristol Tennessee died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, at his home.
He was born in Abingdon, a son of Mildred Garrett of Abingdon and the late Harry "Peanut" Garrett. He was employed with K-Mart Corp. as a receiving manager. He was a member of the American Thunder Motorcycle Club and of the Pentecostal faith.
Surviving, besides his mother, are his wife, Tina Jennings Garrett; a son, Jason Garrett of the home; a sister, Joyce Garrett of Abingdon; and a granddaughter.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 8 p.m. in Farris Funeral Chapel in Abingdon. The Revs. Darrell Henley and Con Henley will officiate. Entombment will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Forest Hills Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Abingdon.
Among survivors is granddaughter Taylor Sylvia Garrett.
Honorary pallbearers will be Buck Snyder, Billy Jack Trivett, Bill White, Jamie Clark, Don Carmack and Tim Broyles.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday in Farris Funeral Service.
Harriett Gregory
HONAKER -- Funeral services for Harriet Edna Ramey Gregory will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. in Honaker Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Ralph Bostic and pastor Larry Brooks will officiate. Burial will be in Ketron Memorial Gardens in Lebanon.
Mrs. Gregory, 88, of the New Garden Road section, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, in a Lebanon hospital.
She was born in Mouthcard, Ky., a daughter of the late Linkous and Louisa Fuller Ramey. She had resided in the Honaker area for the past 66 years and was a member of New Garden Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Leemon Gregory; a daughter, Mrs. William R. (Darlene) Young of Napoleon, Ohio; three sons, Randolph Gregory and Earl Gregory, both of Swords Creek and Gary Gregory of Honaker; a sister, Doshie Robinson of Mouthcard; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Gregory was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Curtis Gregory; a daughter, Phyllis Gregory Andrews; a grandson Robert Curtis Gregory Jr.; and 11 brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Slate, Mike Dye, Raymond Conley, Harold Gregory, Jerry Hess and John Andrews. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Gregory, Jim McGlothlin, Ron Jackson, the Rev. Lawrence Harrison and William R. Young.

Elizabeth Nell Grigsby
WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Funeral services for Elizabeth Nell Nichols Grigsby will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in Akard Funeral Home Chapel, Bristol Tennessee. The Rev. Cass Farrior will officiate. Burial will be in Crumley Cemetery in Bluff City.
Mrs. Grigsby, 76, died Monday, Feb. 22, 2000.
Pallbearers will be Bob Smith, Ben Smith, Walt Rosenquist, Jay Frazier, Kevin Nichols and Robby Storey.

Flora Dickenson Hensdill
FAIRFIELD, Pa. -- Flora Dickenson Hensdill, 94, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, in Brethren Home community.
She was born in Castlewood, Va., a daughter of the late George and Nelia Fraley Dickenson. She was a resident of Fairfield for 22 years and most recently of the Brethren Home community. She was the widow of James J. Hensdill.
Surviving are a son, Ernest Lowell Hensdill of Fairfield; a half-brother, Harry Meade of Gary, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Keith
Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Knollkreg Memorial Park in Abingdon.
Mrs. Hensdill was also preceded in death by a son, Robert J. Hensdill.

Margaret K. Hill
MARION -- Margaret Katherine Hill, 76, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, at her home.
She was the widow of Harry Hill.
Surviving are two sons, Roy
Brown Hill of Marion and William David Hill of Sugar Grove; five grandchildren, Tina Carrico, Michael Anthony Hill, Curtis Duane Hill, Gregory David Hill and Sandra Renee Delp; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. in Barnett's Funeral Home Chapel at Marion. The Revs. Mike Sage and Steven Warren will officiate. Burial will be in Thomas Cemetery.
Mrs. Hill was also preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Lyles.

COEBURN -- Ann Plaster Holder, 74, formerly of Tacoma, Va., died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, in Kaplan, La.
She was a member of Tacoma Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Judy P. Williamson of Maurice, La.; a son, Warren "Bud" Plaster of Hicksville, Ohio; a brother, Hubert Edwards of Cromonia, Ky.; a sister, Jacqueline Hughes of Norton; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Walter M. Jones
ABINGDON -- Walter M. Jones, 81, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2000, in the Veterans Administration Medical Center.
He was born in Ashe County, N.C., a son of the late Luther and Luressie Jones. He had lived most of his life in Washington County, Va. He was of the Baptist faith, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the widower of Lillian Able Jones.
Surviving are two sons, Charles
Jones and Jerry Jones, both of Abingdon; three sisters, Ruth BaumGardner and Shirley Sweet, both of Abingdon, and Merle Lawrence of West Middlesex, Pa.; and a grandson.
Graveside services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery. Junior Gobble will officiate.
Mr.
Jones was also preceded in death by a son, Joseph Edward Jones.
Among survivors are grandson Jeff A. Jones; and daughters-in-law, Coleen
Jones and Sandy Jones.

Mrs. Lisle, 79, formerly of Laurel Bloomery, died Monday, Feb. 21, 2000, in Jacksonville.
She was a daughter of the late Stacy and Effie Norris Thomas and the widow of Robert Parker and David Lisle.
Surviving are a son, Tommy Parker of Pueblo, Colo.; a daughter, Rebecca P. Barton of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Stacy Thomas Jr. of Rockwood, Tenn.; two sisters, Betty Cunningham of Mountain City and Nancy South of Laurel Bloomery; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday in the church.
