Funeral services for Carolyn Yvonne Stout will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Weaver Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Bert Edwards and John Rosenbaum will officiate. Entombment will be in Mountain View Cemetery Mausoleum.
Mrs. Stout, 62, of 201 Kingsolver St., Bristol, Va., died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, in NHC Health Care of Bristol.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Franklin, John Clifton, Mir Faisal, Wayne Prothero, Lee Allen Penley and Stevie Bridgeman. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews.

Warren Taber
DORAN, Va. -- A memorial service for Warren Alfred Taber will be conducted Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands. The Rev. Norman Wilhoit will officiate.
Mr. Taber, 82, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, in a Richlands hospital.
The family will receive friends an hour before the service Wednesday in Hurst-Scott Funeral Home.
Eula Mays Taylor
Funeral services for Eula Mays Taylor will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Arville Dingus will officiate. Burial will be in Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood.
Mrs. Taylor, 78, of 15538 Industrial Park Road, Bristol, Va., died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, in Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Lee Boyd Jr., Mark Mays, S.L. Trent, John Wayne Trent, Phil Brewer and Ronnie Gorley.

ABINGDON -- Frances H. Webb, 84, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, in Johnston Memorial Hospital.

Delbert R. Williamson
RICHLANDS -- Delbert R. Williamson, 85, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, in a Richlands hospital.
He was born in Cedar Bluff, a son of the late James "Jim" and Katie Beavers Williamson. He was a businessman in the Richlands area and owned and operated King Kone Restaurant for more than 50 years. He was the widower of Edgar Ratliff Williamson.
Surviving are his wife, Billie Sue Keene; a stepson, Thomas A. Keene of Tazewell, Va.; a brother, Joe C. Williamson of Cedar Bluff; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in Singleton Funeral Service Chapel in Cedar Bluff. The Rev. Max Linkous will officiate. Entombment will be in Greenhills Mausoleum at Claypool Hill.
Mr. Williamson was also preceded in death by six brothers, Jim Williamson, Harve Williamson, Bill Williamson, Robert Williamson, Emory Williamson and G.F. "Bud" Williamson; and a sister, Myrlie Altizer.
Among survivors are a special friend, Chris McClintock; and four special and loyal employees, Tishia Shelton, Angie Lester, Amy Keen and Terri Absher.
Pallbearers will be Danny Williamson, John M. McClintock Jr., David Williamson, Jeff Shelton, Gaines Tatum, Clayton Smith, Randall Nickols and Mike Richardson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jay Brown, David Bays, Dr. M.J. Thakkar, Dr. James McVey, Doug Steele, Jack Altizer, Bill Beavers, Maylon Jennings, Bob White, Bob Nassif and Arnold Short.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Singleton Funeral Service.

WISE -- Funeral services James Edwin "Jim" Belcher will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. in Guest River Pentecostal Church by Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise. The Rev. Darrell Bolling will officiate. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery in Norton with military rites by Norton VFW Post 4301 and Wise DAV Chapter 56.
Mr. Belcher, 72, died Tuesday, March 7, 2000, at his home.
He was a retired electronic technician with Litton Electronics, College Park, Md., and an associate of Dari-Barn of Wise. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Guest River Penetecostal Church. He was the widower of Annette Belcher.
Surviving are three sons, Richard Belcher of Ocean City, Md., Craig Belcher of Piney Flats and David Belcher of Deal, Md.; a daughter, Rhonda Jean Gregory of Ocean City; a stepdaughter, Glennette B. Orender of Wise; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; a step-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Among survivors are daughters-in-law Mary Lou Belcher of Ocean City and Beth Belcher of Piney Flats; son-in-law Michael Gregory of Ocean City; and a special niece, Catherine Lynn Nixon.

Ethel Lee Bays Booher

Mrs. Booher, 82, of 3565 Cove Creek Road, Bristol, Va., died Monday, March 6, 2000.
She was a member of Willow Branch Baptist Church.

BUNNELL, Fla. -- Joan Stickley Byers, 70, of Dogwood Street, died Friday, March 3, 2000, in Memorial Hospital-Flagler.
She was born in Dante, Va., and moved to the Bunnell area in 1990 from Leesville, La. She was a lifetime member of DAV ladies Auxiliary and a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Earl Byers; two daughters, Victoria Wasson of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Terri B. Bruno of Bunnell; a son, Mark Byers of Jupiter, Fla.; two sisters, Ada Keller of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mary Elizabeth Sladovich of Warren, Ohio; and four grandchildren.

CASTLEWOOD -- Aleta Castle, 79, died Wednesday, March 8, 2000, in Maple Grove Health Care Center in Lebanon.
She was born in Castlewood, a daughter of the late Franklin and Mary Bell Salyers Stapleton. She was the widow of Henry J. Castle.
Surviving are a daughter, Ann C. Ray of Charlotte, N.C.; two grandchildren, Cameron Baird Sutherland Jr. of Atlanta and Kimberly Robbins of Pontiac, Mich.; a great-granddaughter, Brittany Robbins; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 3:30 p.m. in Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood. The Rev. Doyle Hobbs will officiate.
Mrs. Castle was also preceded in death by a son, William Tommy Castle.

Jimmie Neal Davis Sr.
Jimmie Neal Davis Sr., 81, of 2206 Carolina Ave., Bristol, Tenn., died Thursday, March 9, 2000, in Bristol Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Scott County and was a retired employee of the former Bristol Memorial Hospital with 24 years of service. He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II and the Korean War, where he achieved the rank of sergeant and was highly decorated. He served as a machine gunner flying numerous combat missions. He was a member of Preston Fleenor VFW Post 9629 of Bluff City.
Mr. Davis was a member of Buffalo Christian Church, where he was an elder and teacher of the Men's Sunday School Class. He was the widower of Ruby Nell Stevens Davis.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Rebecca) Vance of Bristol Tennessee; two sons, Jimmie Neal Davis Jr. of Grove City, Ohio, and William H. "Bill" Davis of Piney Flats; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. in Weaver Funeral Home Chapel. Ministers Don Moorhouse and Don Merryman will officiate. Burial will be in Buffalo Christian Church Cemetery with military rites by Patton-Crosswhite VFW Post 6975 of Bristol.
