Mr. Denton, 64, of 841 Fairview School Road, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2000, in Bristol Regional Medical Center.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Amerace Corp.

John R. Fenyk
MARION -- Dr. John Raymond Fenyk Sr., 79, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, in St. Petersburg, Fla.
He was born in New York City. He received his bachelor of science degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J., in 1942 and his doctor of veterinary medicine from Kansas State University in 1946. He was professor of animal husbandry at the University of Arkansas in the late 1940s. For more than 30 years, he practiced general veterinary medicine in Marion and surrounding counties.
He was a life member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association and a member of Southwest Virginia Veterinary Association, the Southern Veterinary Medical Association and East Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association. He was co-founder of Virginia House Furniture Corp., which later became Smyth County's largest employer. He participated in the Democratic Party.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Evelyn Maxine Crawford Fenyk; two sons, Dr. John Raymond Fenyk Jr. of Golden Valley, Minn., and Mark Brach Fenyk of Marion; three daughters, Royann Michelle Fenyk-King of Alexandria, Cynthia Sue F. Courtney of St. Petersburg and Dr. Judith Evelyn Fenyk-Melody of Middletown, N.J.; a sister, Sophia "Penny" F. Scully of St. Petersburg; a brother, Walter D. Fenyk of Harlingen, N.J.; seven grandchildren; a niece; and four nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Seaver-
Brown Chapel. Pastor James H. Bangle will officiate. Entombment will be in Rose Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum..
Among survivors are daughters-in-law Dianne C. Fenyk of Golden Valley and Sharon L. Fenyk of Marion; sons-in-law Norman Mitchell King of Alexandria, Francis X. Courtney of St. Petersburg and David P. Melody of Middletown; and grandchildren Heather, Julie and Faith Fenyk, Jack and Marin Courtney and Austin and Dylan Melody.
Dr. Fenyk, a beloved husband and father, was proud of his profession and promoted it vigorously, contributing significantly to the construction of the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association headquarters in Richmond.
He was always ready for a lively political discussion, never met a man he did not like, and, in his years of retirement, enjoyed his family, learning, walking, watching the stock market and impromptu card games.

Brown Funeral Service Chapel.
Mahalia Flack
KINGSPORT -- Mrs. Haley M. (Mahalia) Flack, 91, formerly of 809 E. Sullivan St., died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, in Sunbrite-Brookhaven Health Care Center.
She was born in Hawkins County, Tenn., and had lived in Kingsport for the past 66 years. She was a member of Bethel AME Zion Church and the Lawson Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Bessie Mae Looney of Kingsport; two sisters, Mae Kyle of Rogersville, Tenn., and Margaret
Johnson of Knoxville; a brother, William (Oma) Kincaid of Rogersville; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Robinson Funeral Services of Kingsport.

HARMAN, Va. -- Ethel Rose Hall, 98, formerly of Route 1, Clintwood, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, in Buchanan General Hospital.

Johnson CITY -- Funeral services for Noah A. Jenkins Jr. will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home. The Rev. Bob Davis will officiate. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Mountain Home with full military honors by Kingsport VFW Post 3382.
Noah A. Jenkins Jr., 66, of 627 E. Pine St., died Friday, Feb. 11, 2000, in
Johnson City Medical Center.
Surviving are six sisters, Pauline Gallamore of Paris, Tenn., Isabel Hunt, Christine Riddle and Louise Austin, all of
Johnson City, Bessie Brummitt of Elizabethton and Ann Glover of Holland, Mich.; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his parents, Noah A. Jenkins Sr. and Nora Nichols Jenkins; an infant daughter; and a brother, Eugene K. Jenkins.
Among survivors are brothers-in-law B.J. Gallamore of Paris, Tenn., and Argil Hunt of
Johnson City; an aunt, Mary Jenkins of Bluff City; a special friend, Barbara A. Miller of
Johnson City; her children, Amber S. Miller and James D. Miller, both of
Johnson City; and Kim D. Hyder and Kim's son, Jarred, both of Hampton.
Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel and other times at the old family home place, 200 Red Row Road in
Johnson City.

STATESVILLE, N.C. -- Bessie Margaret Wiles Kiser, 65, of 115 Doe Ridge Lane, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, at her home.
She was born in Wilkes County, N.C., a daughter of the late Bronnie Rhodell Wiles and Eura Kiser Wiles. She attended Landmark Church of God. She attended schools in Dickenson County, Va., and was employed in housekeeping and enviromental service with Davis Medical Center.
Surviving are her husband, James Vernon "Jimmy" Kiser; a son, Roger R. Kiser of Statesville; and two granddaughters, Tonya Kiser and Melissa Kiser, both of Statesville.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday in Statesville.

ABINGDON -- Funeral services for Pauline Lusk McClellan will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Saint Thomas Episcopal Church in Abingdon by Huff-Cook Funeral Home of Castlewood. The Rev. Victor Mansfield will officiate. Burial will be in Temple Hill in Castlewood.
Mrs. McClellan, 79, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, in Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon.
She was born in Williamson, W.Va., a daughter of the late Maurice and Canaby Lusk. She was educated in Bluefield, W.Va., schools. After graduation, she studied music at Mount Vernon Academy in Mount Vernon, Ohio. She was the widow of Albert Eugene "Gene" McClellan. She was of the Episcopal faith, a member of the White Shrine and served as Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are two daughters, Dixie Lee McClellan of Arrington, Tenn., Polla Rumberg of Beckley, W.Va., and Fred McClellan of Abingdon; a brother, Maurice Lusk Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla.; four grandchildren, and three step-grandchildren.
Among survivors are grandchildren Gretchen Stalnaker of Shepherdstown, W.Va., and Jasame, Tai and Seaton McClellan of Abingdon; step-grandchildren Brian Rumbert of Charleston, W.Va., and Joey and Chad McDuffee of Nashville; sons-in-law Joel McDuffee and Gary Rumbert; and daughter-in-law Robin McClellan.
Pallbearers will be board members of the Birthplace of Country Music Alliance.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church.

Mrs. Meade, 77, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000, in Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport.

Brandon Scott Perkins
HONAKER -- Brandon Scott Perkins, 13, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, in Russell County Medical Center in Lebanon.
He was born in Lebanon, a son of Mike and Donna Hughes Perkins of Honaker. He had lived in the Honaker area his entire life and attended the Full Gospel House of Prayer in Drill.
He was an eighth-grade student at Honaker High School, where he participated in football, basketball and baseball.
Surviving, besides his parents, are a brother, Joseph Perkins of the home; a sister, Denelle Perkins of the home; maternal grandparents, Bob and Bell Hughes of Swords Creek; paternal grandparents, Allen and Vang Perkins of Honaker; great-grandmother, Gladys Hughes of Troy, Ohio; step-grandmother, Pauline Ray of Swords Creek; a foster sister, Stephanie Breedlove of Castlewood; and a foster brother, Chase Breedlove of Castlewood.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in Honaker Funeral Home Chapel. The Revs. Gerald Lester and Luther Bowman will officiate. Burial will be in the family cemetery near the home.
Brandon Scott was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Luther and the Rev. Jettie Dye, Paul Perkins and Trula Hess; and his great-great-grandparents, Otis and Ida Hess.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Messer, Donnie Messer, Tim Baldwin, David Baldwin, David Robinette, Jeff Kinder and Jarred Hughes. Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Hess, Ryan Miller and the eighth-grade basketball team.

She recently had lived with her daughters in Bristol.

Mr. Shelton, 81, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2000, in a Richlands hospital.
