Willie Lee Felty, 98, of 200 Lark St., Bristol, Tenn., died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1999, in Cambridge House.
She was a lifelong resident of Bristol Tennessee, a retired employee with Gray Hosiery Mill and was a member of Virginia Avenue Baptist Church.
She was the widow of W.P. Felty.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Betty) Ross, Bristol Tennessee, and Judy Phipps, Bristol Tennessee; three sons, Walter Felty, Bluff City, Bill Felty, and Wayne Felty, both of Bristol Tennessee; a sister, Mary Ellen Carroll, Bluff City; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.

Mary Stevens Ford, of Bristol Virginia, died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1999 at her home.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Bristol Virginia and past employee of Wal-Mart.
She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Albert W. Ford; a daughter, Mrs. Terry (Lisa) Weatherly, Bristol Virginia; two sons, Christopher W. Ford, Bluff City, and David A. Ford, Stephens City, Va.; a sister, Mrs. John (Doris) Leheny; a brother, Roy L. Stevens, Roanoke; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a lifelong resident of Russell County, a member of the Molls Creek Church and the widow of Emmitt C. Gilbert.
Survivors include a daughter, Clara Lou Cook, Lebanon; two sons, Homer H. Gilbert, Castlewood, and James Gilbert, Lebanon; two sisters, Margaret Meade, Lebanon, and Mary Ellen Harmon, Kingsport; three brothers, Creed Osborne, Gate City, James Osborne, Castlewood, and Johnny Osborne, Baltimore; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Gurtis Goodnough
PORT ORANGE, Fla. -- Gurtis Goodnough, 62, of Ruth Street, died Monday, Jan. 4, 1999, in Horizon Health Care, Daytona Beach, Fla.
He was a native of Anderson County, S.C., a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietname War, completing several tours of duty in Germany and at Walter Reed Army Hospital, all with motor transportation. He loved to fish and hunt.
Survivors include two brothers, Wallace Goodnough, Chula Vista, Calif., and Bradley Goodnough, Arlington, Va.; three sisters, Lenora Copeland, Palm Coast, Fla., Montex Short, Manassas, Va., and Julia Davis, Colonial Heights, Va.
Services will be held Saturday in Port Orange with interment at a later date in Greenwood Memorial Gardens, Coeburn.

ABINGDON -- Dorothy Mitchell Hathcock, 85, formerly of Abingdon, died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, in Essex, N.Y.
She was the widow of Joseph W. Hathcock.

He was a lifelong resident of Lebanon and a farmer. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Fields Hurd; a daughter, Jessica Hurd of the home; three sisters, Agnes Horne, Durham, N.C., Louise Hartsock, Nickelsville, Va., and Mary Davis, Castlewood; six brothers, Garland Hurd, Roger Hurd and Nathan Hurd, all of Castlewood, Eddie Hurd and Donnie Hurd, both of Lebanon, and Ronnie Hurd, St. Paul; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the widow of Ira Johnson.

BIG STONE GAP -- Billie R. Johnson, 81, died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1999, in Ridgecrest Manor Nursing Home, Duffield.
She was a native of Bonnie Blue, Va., and had lived most of her life in Big Stone Gap.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Big Stone Gap, and the widow of Carl R. Johnson.
Survivors include a grandson, Richard A.
Johnson II, Beckley, W.Va.; a granddaughter, Amy R. Gibson, Radford, Va.; and a daughter-in-law.

COEBURN -- James P. Lee, 70, died Monday, Jan. 4, 1999, in Cleveland, Ohio.
He was a retired policeman with the Cleveland Clinic Police Department, a U.S. Navy and U.S. Army veteran having served in World War II and the Korean War.
