DAVENPORT, Va. -- John Bostic, 79, of the Little Fox section, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1998, in St. Luke's Hospital, Bluefield, W.Va.
He was a native of Buchanan County, retired as a bus driver with the Buchanan County School System and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Boyd Bostic; two sons, Kyle Bostic, Vansant, Harold Bostic, Honaker; a daughter, Marsha Lynn Ball, Council; two brothers, Zarnell Bostic, Tazewell, and Alfred Bostic, Vansant; a sister, Bonnie McGee; five grandchildren; a great-grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.

BLUFF CITY -- Willonell Greene, 58, of 232 Walnut Grove Road, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1998, in
Johnson City Medical Center Hospital.
She was a native of Polk County, Tenn., a member of the Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church and a retired school teacher.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Greene; a daughter, Tracey Greene Mitchell, Elizabethton; a son, Tim Greene, Howell, N.J.; and five sisters, Elizabeth Carroll, Ann Lee Oleta Burchfield, Mary Allen and Vondell Morgan, all of Polk County.

COEBURN -- Anne Fleming "Randy" Kilgore, 78, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 1998, in Ridgecrest Manor Nursing Home.
She was a native and long-time resident of the Norton area, and a graduate of Mary Baldwin College.
She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church, Norton, the owner of Dan Hall Mountain Resort & Country Club, president of Banner Coal Company, previous president of Fleming Land Corporation, and president of Cedar Creek Improvement Company. She was also a member of Norton Garden Club, The Texas Club and of the former Norton Literary Club.
Survivors include a son, Doug Kilgore, St. Paul; a sister, Elizabeth White, Baltimore; and five grandchildren, Jarrell Randal Kilgore, Diana Meade, Kimberly Culbertson, Chris Rambo and George Adkins.

CASTLEWOOD -- Cecil C. "Cotton" Maxfield, 75, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 1998, at his home.
He was a native of Russell County, a retired coal miner and a member of UMWA Local No. 1256. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie Maxfield.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Jim (Joyce) Greer, Mrs. John (Ruth) Fields, Mrs. John (Glenna) Jones, Mrs. John M. (Betty) Greer and Mrs. Mars (Doris) Hall, all of Dante, and Mrs. Harold (Judy) Porter, Castlewood; three sons, Eugene Maxfield, Castlewood, Robert G. "Boozer" Robinson, Dante, and James Harold Robinson, Conover, N.C.; three sisters, Edna Hobbs and Ina Willis, both of Castlewood, and Dallas Robinson, Conover, N.C.; 28 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

CASTLEWOOD -- Buddy Lee Milgrim, 42, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1998, in Russell County Medical Center, Lebanon.
He was a native of Russell County and a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Milgrim; two daughters, Rebecca Milgrim and Monica Milgrim of the home; a son, Travis Milgrim of the home; his parents, the Rev. and Mrs. George Milgrim Jr., Front Royal, Va.; a sister, Jeanette Milgrim, Saudi Arabia; six brothers, George Milgrim III, Jamie Milgrim, Joseph Milgrim and Andy Milgrim, all of Front Royal, Mike Milgrim, Strasburg, Va., and Steven Milgrim, Woodstock, Va.; his paternal grandmother, Minnie Milgrim, St. Paul; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

DAMASCUS -- D. Elmer Neely, 89, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 1998, at his home.
He was a lifelong resident of Damascus.
He was retired 27 years from American Cyanamid Company having been employed there for over 30 years. He was a member of the Laurel Community Church, Damascus, where he was the last surviving member of the original Board of Trustees.
Survivors include his wife, Bess Neely; two daughters, Myrna Cullop, Damascus, and Helen Clark, Meadowview; a sister, Goldie Hodgson, Alpine, Calif.; a brother, Edward Neely, Tucson, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

GLADE SPRING -- Mrs. Helen Virginia Norris, 88, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 1998, in Valley Health Care, Chilhowie.
She was a lifelong resident of Glade Spring and the widow of Otho B. Norris. She was a member of the Grace Street Presbyterian Church, Glade Spring.
Survivors include two sons, Ned Norris, Glade Spring, and Ed Norris, Roanoke; three daughters, Jackie Holmes, Warrenton, Va., Dale Hubbard, Bristol Tennessee, and Ruby Thomas, Denver, Colo.; three brothers, Lawrence Thomas and Kenneth Thomas, both of Glade Spring, and C.G. Thomas, Saltville; two sisters, Dellavene Jackson and Joy Hurd, both of Glade Spring; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

James Kirkland Nunn, infant son of Mary Elizabeth Basford and James Nunn, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 1998, in Caldwell Memorial Hospital, Lenoir, N.C.

MOORPARK, Calif. -- Pricilla E. Plenger, 49, died Friday, Dec. 4, 1998, at her home.
She was a native of Bristol Virginia and had lived in Bluff City and Reno, Nev., before moving to Ventura County, where she had made her home for the past 23 years.
She was a homemaker, and a volunteer at One More Time Thrift Shop and at Moorpark Active Seniors Commodity Food Giveway.
Survivors include her husband, L. Richard Plenger; three daughters, Dianna Plenger, Maryanna Plenger and Susanna Cox; two sons, Richard Plenger and Ron Smith; four sisters, Mrs. Wayne (Joan) Lockner, Sue Parks and Betty Hendricks, all of Bluff City, and Bernice Englund, Sarasota, Fla.; three brothers, Merle Rogers, Hephzibah, Ga., Gene Rogers, Sarasota, and Wayne Rogers, Richmond; and a granddaughter.
