DAMASCUS -- Delmer Charles
Johnson Sr., 75, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, at his home.
He was a native of Washington County, Va., and had lived in Radford before returning to Damascus in 1973.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in Germany, and was of the Presbyterian faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Lois Testerman Johnson.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lacy (Dorothy) Dishon and Mrs. Ronnie (Barbara) McClure, both of Dublin, Va., and Mrs. Michael (Joan) Burnette, Springfield, Mo.; a son, Delmar Charles
Johnson Jr., Portsmouth, Va.; two sisters, Vonnie Wilson, Glade Spring, and Floy Bryant, Falls Church, Va.; four grandsons; a great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

MARION -- Bunea Garrett Legard, 94, died Sunday, Nov. 22, 1998, in Smyth County Community Hospital.

CLINTWOOD -- Leonard Moore, 71, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, in Dickenson County Medical Center, Clintwood.
He was a retired miner and a member of the Regular Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Arbutus Moore; a son, Coy Moore, Nickelsville; four sisters, Cora Mullins, Nora Mullins and Opal Dutton, all of Clintwood, and Oma Mullins, Coeburn; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Marizella M. Moore
NORA -- Marizella M. Moore, 99, died Sunday, Nov. 22, 1998, in Dickenson County Medical Center.
She was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County, a member of Pound River Church of the Brethren and a member of Clinchco Senior Citizens.
She was the widow of Elihu Hurley Moore.
Survivors include two sons, Jack B. Moore, Clintwood, and L.C. Moore, Cleveland, Ohio; two daughters, Mildred Fleming and Venita Rasnick, both of Nora; 23 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Anna H. Rasnake
ROSEDALE, Va. -- Mrs. Anna Mae Honaker Rasnake, 59, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, in a Bristol Tennessee hospital.
She was a native of Richlands, and was a lifelong resident of the Russell County area.
She was a member of Swords Creek Community Baptist Church and also attended Rosedale Baptist Church.
She attended Lees-McRae College and University of Radford, Radford, Va. She taught for 27 years at Honaker Elementary School and Givens Elementary School.
She was a member and past worthy matron of the Counts Chapter 180 Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond K. Rasnake; and a daughter, Julia Ann Rasnake Morse, Dallas.

GLADE SPRING -- Billy Joe Ratcliffe, 60, died Sunday, Nov. 22, 1998, at his home.
He was a lifelong resident of Glade Spring, a member of the Glade Community Church of God and was a retired employee of Marion Composites, Brunswick Corporation, serving 29 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Shirley Ratcliffe; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Lisa Harr, Bristol Tennessee, and Mrs. Vivian Ketron, Jonesborough, Tenn.; a sister, Mrs. Sue Dean, Sasser, Ill.; and eight step-grandchildren.

CLINTWOOD -- Clayton Herman Stanley, 65, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, at his home.
He was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and a member of the Church of the Brethern.
Survivors include his wife, Dollie Stanley; a son, J.R. Stanley, Haysi; three daughters, Gloria Killen, Castlewood, Diana Thomas and Viola Carol Adams, both of Clintwood; two brothers, Wiley Stanley and Carl Stanley, both of Clintwood; three sisters, Tracy McGlothlin, Irene Moore and Madge Mullins, all of Clintwood; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

RAVEN, Va. -- William Carol "Bill" VanDyke Jr., 27, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, in a Richlands hospital.
He was a native of Tazewell County, a coal truck driver and was of the Pentecostal-Holiness faith.
Survivors include his wife, Natisha Cook VanDyke; three daughters, Danielle VanDye, Keisha VanDyke and Billie Sue VanDyke, all of the home; his mother, Mrs. Thelma Bernice Pruitt, Red Ash, Va.; two brothers, Thomas VanDyke and B.J. VanDyke, both of Red Ash; three sisters, Mrs. Darrell (Tena)

KINGSPORT -- Billy Joe "Bill" Wood, 51, of 344 Divine Circle, died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998, in Holston Valley Medical Center.
He was a native of Haysi, had been a resident of Kingsport most of his life and was a first operator in the Acetate Tow Division of Eastman Chemical Company for the past 26 years.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Blankenbeckler Wood; two sons, Kevin Brian Wood and Gregory Allen Wood both of the home; his mother, Fanny Wood, Haysi; two sisters, Mary Turner, Clinchco, and Debbie Owens, Birchleaf, Va.; two brothers, Charles Wood and Terry Wood, both of Haysi; and several nieces and nephews.

Lena Mae Watson Guy Boughers, 80, of Cambridge House, Bristol Tennessee, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, in Bristol Regional Medical Center.
