CLINTWOOD, Va. -- Danny Gerald O'Quinn, 47, died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998, in St. Mary's Hospital.
He was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and was an employee of Clintwood Farm Supply.
Survivors include his mother, Laura E. O'Quinn, Clintwood; a brother, Jack O'Quinn, Clintwood; two half-brothers, Robert Lee O'Quinn, Clinchco, and Bill O'Quinn, North Carolina; two half-sisters, Hazel Daniels and Kay Witherholt, Blackberry, W.Va.

Ruby L. Ramey
CASTLEWOOD -- Ruby Lee Ramey, 83, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, in Russell County Medical Center, Lebanon.
She was the widow of McKinley Ramey.
Survivors include two sons, Benny Jack Ramey, Thomasville, N.C., and James Van Ramey, Castlewood; two sisters, Agnes Fleenor, Dante, Va., and Ann Castle, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

ROSEDALE, Va. -- Mrs. Anna Mae Honaker Rasnake, 69, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, in a Bristol Tennessee hospital.
She was a native of Richlands, and was a lifelong resident of the Russell County area.
She was a member of Swords Creek Community Baptist Church and also attended Rosedale Baptist Church.
She attended Lees-McRae College and University of Radford, Radford, Va.
She taught for 27 years at Honaker Elementary School and Givens Elementary School.
She was a member and past worthy matron of the Counts Chapter 180 Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond K. Rasnake; and a daughter, Julia Ann Rasnake Morse, Dallas.

GRUNDY -- Mrs. Lorraine Potter Shortridge, 69, of the Looney's Creek section, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, in Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She was a native of Pike County, Ky., and was a member of Grundy Church of Christ.
She was a retired employee from the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Shortridge; a daughter, Mrs. Scotty (Linda Kay) MacDonald, Colorado Springs, Colo; a son, Russell Keith Shortridge, Grundy; a sister, Kelsie Potter, King George, Va.; three brothers, Elzie Potter, Grundy, Hershel Potter, North Tazewell, Va., and Roy Potter, Hurley, Va.; and four grandchildren.

James W. Taylor
ROXBORO, N.C. -- James William "Bill" Taylor, 49, of 350 Wrenn Crumpton Road, formerly of Cedar Bluff and Richlands, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 1998, in a Durham, N.C., hospital.
He was a native of Richlands, and was a 1970 graduate of Richlands High School, attended Southwest Virginia Community College and was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.
He was a former employee of Pittston Coal Corporation at Seaboard No. 1 Mine and was a professional walking horse trainer in Roxboro where he moved six months ago.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Kathy Ludlum Taylor; a son, James William Taylor II, Richlands; a step-daughter, Miss Rebecca Forbes, Rocky Mount, Va.; two step-sons, Steven Forbes, Pikeville, Ky., and John Forbes, Rocky Mount; his mother, Mrs. Nancy Rasnick Taylor, Cedar Bluff; a sister, Ms. Claudia Ann Taylor, Abingdon; a special nephew; and four step-grandchildren.

Eva M. Wilkins, 64, of 709 Georgia Ave., Bristol, Tenn., died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998 at her home.
She was a native of Bristol Tennessee, a homemaker and a member of Beidleman Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin Jack Wilkins; her mother, Mrs. Lennie E. Morton, Bristol Tennessee; a sister, Mrs. Doward Lennis Moody, Bristol Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
