COEBURN -- Mable A. Kiser, 82, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 1998, in Heritage Hall Nursing Facility, Wise.
She was the widow of Charles T. Kiser.
Survivors include one son, James Kiser, Kingsport; three sisters, Betty Linkous, Oceana, W.Va., Georgia Holbrook, Alexandria, Va., and Billie Wright, Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Kenneth S. Leonard Sr.
Kenneth S. Leonard Sr., 69, of Bristol, Virginia, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998, in Bristol Regional Medical Center.
He was a local barber and a lifelong resident of Washington County, Va.
He was a former Mason, a member of Woodmen of the World, a member and church deacon at Willow Branch Baptist Church and a member of the Lane Family Quartet.
Survivors include his wife, Devona Leonard; two sons, Ken Leonard Jr., and Jeff Leonard, both of Abingdon; two daughters, Mechell Leonard, Bristol, Tennessee, and Gwen Laughlin, Bristol, Virginia; one sister, Octavia Walker, Centersville, Ohio; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

BIG STONE GAP -- Mack Henry McKinney, 48, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 1998, in Lonesome Pine Hospital, Big Stone Gap.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and a truck driver.
Survivors include one son, Mack Christopher McKinney, East Stone Gap; his father, Calloway McKinney, Big Stone Gap; two brothers, Kenneth McKinney and Don McKinney, both of Big Stone Gap; four sisters, Jean Huff, Sue Huff and Frances Lawson, all of Dryden, and Brenda Craft, Big Stone Gap; and one grandchild.

Johnson CITY -- James Ernest Morrow, 63, of 1417 Cherokee Road, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 1998, in Centennial Medical Center Hospital, Nashville.
He was a lifelong resident of
Johnson City and was a retired electrical supervisor with East Tennessee State University.
He attended Cherokee United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Cox Morrow; one daughter, Sharon Bowers, Murfreesboro; one sister, Mary Morrow, Cocoa, Fla.; one grandson, Logan Bowers, Murfreesboro; and several nieces and nephews.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- Mrs. Margie K. Mullen died Friday, Jan. 30, 1998, in Warrenton Overlook Health Center.
She was the widow of Robert D. Mullen.
Survivors include one daughter, Barbara A. Jenkins, Warrenton, Va.; two brothers, Carl Burke and Ralph Burke, both of Abingdon; one sister, Maggie Davis,
Johnson City; and four grandchildren.
Funeral service and interment will be held Monday in Alexandria.

BIG STONE GAP -- Golden Oakley, 83, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998, in Wellmont Lonesome Pine Hospital, Big Stone Gap.
She was a lifelong resident of the area, a homemaker and a member of the Apostolic Church, Appalachia.
Survivors include one daughter, Charlotte Bozzell, Appalachia; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

NORTON -- Margaret Marie Meade Owens, 83, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998, at her home.
She was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church, where she was a member of Edith Vaughn Circle, was a homemaker and the widow of Percy B. Owens.
Survivors include two daughters, Darlene F. Christian, Norton, and Gloria "Gay" Kerns, Macon, Ga.; four sons, Percy James "Jim" Owens, San Diego, Calif., William "Bill" Owens, Clarksville, Tenn., Tom "Tucson" Owens, Big Stone Gap, and J.D. "Butch" Owens, Shady Cove, Ore.; one sister, Jane Marsee, Elizabethtown Ky.; 28 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

James M. Robinson
SANDUSKY, Ohio -- James M. Robinson, 55, of 1017 Jay St., died Sunday, February 1, 1998, in Firelands Community Hospital.
He was a native of Coeburn, Va., a charter member of the Jubilee Christian Center, Sandusky, where he served as head usher, a member of the visitation committee, an elder and deacon, a member of volunteer maintenance services and was the senior activities leader.
He was a member of Local 1711 United Association of Machinists, serving as past president and stewart, and was an avid bowler and softball player.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Patricia (McCoy) Robinson; one daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Pamela) Whiley, Sandusky; one son, Carl A. "Tony" Robinson, Sandusky; one sister, Delma Lee, Coeburn; three brothers, Clyde Robinson, Toledo, Ohio, Barney Robinson, Atlanta, and Harold Robinson, Coeburn; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday in Sandusky with burial in Huron.

BLOUNTVILLE -- Cynthia Nunley Smiley, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 1998, in Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was a native of Washington County, Va., a homemaker and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Dewey Smiley; one daughter, Sandra Fannon, Blountville; three sisters, Mamie Moody, Kingsport, Louella Olinger and Nellie McCoy, both of Greeneville, Tenn.; one brother, Ralph Nunley, Blountville; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
