HODGSON - January 23, of Ramsey Place, Newton Aycliffe. Brian Garth, aged 77 years. Beloved husband of the late Peggy, much loved dad of Tony and Claire, also a loving father-in-law of Jan and Graham and grandad to Richard and Anna. Funeral Wednesday January 31. Would friends please meet for service 1.15 p.m. at Darlington Crematorium. No flowers please by request. Donations in lieu if so desired to, The Treatment of H.H.T. A plate will be provided at the crematorium.

HOGAN - On January 22, peacefully in Ventress Hall. James, aged 82 years, of Darlington, loving dad of Alan and Denise, also a dear grandad and great-grandad. Funeral Thursday, February 1. Would friends please meet for service in St. Augustine's R.C. Church, Darlington at 1.00 p.m. prior to interment in the West Cemetery.

HOLDHAM - Margaret, aged 93 years, of Catterick Village, died peacefully at Richmond House, Richmond on January 16. Beloved wife of the late Alf, much loved mother of Pat and Anne and a dear mother-in-law, loving grandma and great-grandma. Funeral service at St. Anne's Church, Catterick Village on Wednesday January 24 at 1.30 p.m. followed by cremation at Darlington. Friends please meet at the church.

HOPPER - (nee Dryden) January 19, peacefully in hospital, late of Donnini House and North Terrace, Easington Village. Kathleen Mary, aged 98 years, beloved wife of the late John Grey Hopper, dearly loved mother of John and Allan, a dear mother-in-law of Eileen and Eunice, a much loved grandmother and great-grandmother. Missed by all. Service in St. Mary's Church on Friday, January 26 at 10.30 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium 11.30 a.m. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to the Heart Foundation c/o Allan Hopper. Friends please meet at Church. At Rest

Jack, aged 90 years, of Sedgefield, much loved husband of Mollie, loving father of Pam and Ken, father-in-law of Pam and Phil, also a dear grandfather and great-grandfather. IRVINE - Jessie (nee Smith), died peacefully on January 24, aged 90 years at The Gardens Nursing Home, beloved wife of the late Jimmie, beloved mother of Robin, Christine and David, granny and great-granny. Her family rejoice in her wonderful life, faith and long voluntary service to Church and Community. Funeral service to be held on Tuesday, January 30 at 1.30 p.m. at Northgate United Reformed Church, Darlington prior to interment at West Cemetery. Family flowers only. Service at Blanchland Abbey on Monday, January 29, at 1.30 p.m. followed by interment in Abbey Church Yard. No flowers.

Daughter of the late Catherine Duffy (nee Smith). KRIEVENS - (nee Brooks) Rose, formerly of Burnhope, Co. Durham. Aged 74 years. Died peacefully in Pontefract General Infirmary with her loving family at her side on January 24, 2007. The beloved wife of the late Herbert Krievens and a devoted and loving mum, mother-in-law, nan, great-nan, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. LARNER - Darlington January 19 suddenly but peacefully. Doug aged 51 years, much loved husband of Lorraine and adored dad of Linzi.
