Ann (Nancy), aged 91 years, beloved wife of the late Bash, a devoted mother of John and Pauline, loving mother-in-law of Pamela and Alice and a much loved nana and great-nana. Would friends please meet for service on Thursday, March 15 at 10.00 a.m. at Durham Crematorium Chapel.

HOPE - February 28 (peacefully), of Sowerby House, Sowerby, Thirsk, formerly of St. Mary's Walk. Connie, aged 96 years, beloved wife of the late Raymond, loving mother to Brian and the late Michael, a dear mother-in-law, gran and great-gran. The funeral service will be held at Darlington Crematorium on Tuesday, March 13 at 11.45 a.m. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be made to Cherry Garth.

Elizabeth, aged 95 years, dearly loved wife of the late Thomas, much loved mother of George and Elizabeth, a loving mother-in-law, grandma, great-grandma and great-great-grandma. Funeral Thursday, March 15. Friends please meet for service in St. Andrew's Church, Haughton Village at 1.15 p.m., followed by cremation at Darlington Crematorium.

HUTCHINSON - March 2 (suddenly in hospital), of Rookery Gardens, Rushyford (formerly of Etherley). Evelyn, aged 66 years, dearly loved wife, soul mate and best friend of Barrie, devoted mother of Glenna and Ian and mother-in-law to Keith and Jackie, a much treasured grandma of Chris, Vicki, Tom, Rebecca and Jessica. Cremation Wednesday, March 14 at Durham. Cortege leaving residence at 12.15 p.m. for a service in St. Aidan's Church, Chilton at 12.30 p.m. Friends please meet at church and afterwards at the Eden Arms, Rushyford for refreshments. Will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

LAMB - On March 5, peacefully in hospital, of Carrside Road, Trimdon Village. Stuart, aged 59 years, a beloved husband of Jennifer (nee Mercer), dearly loved father of Joanne and Caroline, a much loved grandad of Kelly Marie, also loved by all his family. Cortege leaving residence on Tuesday, March 13 at 2.00 p.m. Friends please meet at Durham Crematorium for service and cremation at 2.30 p.m.

LATTIMER - On March 5, suddenly. Michael, aged 45 years, of Hunter Road, Newton Aycliffe. A dearly loved son of Joan and Bobby, also brother of Susan. Funeral Wednesday, March 14. Will friends please meet 10.30 a.m. for service at Neville Parade Methodist Church, prior to burial at the West Cemetery, School Aycliffe.

LEAVER - On March 7, suddenly at Jack Dormand Nursing Home, Horden, late of Brakespear Place, Peter-lee. Rebecca Wilson aged 87 years, a dearly loved mother of Frank, beloved mother-in-law of Valerie and a much loved nana and great-nana. Cremation Sunderland Crematorium Tuesday March 13. Friends please accept this intimation and meet for service at St. Cuthbert's Church, Peterlee at 2.30 p.m. Enquiries to East Durham Funeral Service, Peterlee. Tel: (0191) 5864322. To a loving mam and mam-in-law who is going to be very much missed by us all. Grandson Jonathan and his wife Caroline and step-grandson Tony. You were there for us all even for Jacob great-grandson. Funeral service at St. Matthew's Church, Leyburn on Friday, March 9 at 1.00 p.m., followed by interment at Leyburn Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to be shared between Church Funds and the I.T.U. at the Friarage Hospital (plate in church). Friends please meet at the church.

Raymond, aged 86 years, of Trimdon Village, a beloved husband of the late Mary, loving father of Barry, David and Christine, a dear father-in-law of Carol, Judith and John, a much loved grandad of Lee and Lesley, Liam and Kieran and Christopher, also great-grandad of Sophie. Funeral service on Thursday March 8 at St. Mary Magdalene Church at 12.00 noon, prior to cremation at Durham. Friends invited, please meet at the Church. Family flowers only. Donations, if so desired, to St. Dunstan's Charity for Blind Ex-Servicemen and Women.

MAUGHAN - March 5, of Bishop Auckland, late of Witton Park. Thomas Henry (Tommy), aged 77 years, a very much loved uncle and cousin, also brother to his late sisters. Will friends please meet for service in St. Paul's Church, Witton Park at 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, followed by interment in Witton Park Cemetery.

McDONALD - Edinburgh On March 1. Mary (nee Love), loving wife of the late Angus (late of Beckside, Hamsterley), a loving mam of Gordon, Linda, Stuart and Alan, a special nana and great-nana, also a special sister and aunty.

Doris (nee Dowson), aged 82 years, dearly beloved wife of the late John Robert (Jacky), loving mam of Anita, Norma and Brian, mother-in-law of Ronnie and Ann, also a much loved grandmother and great-grandmother. Will friends please meet for service in St. Helen's Church at 10.15 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, followed by interment in West Auckland Cemetery.

MITCHELL - March 2. William (Billy), aged 74 years of Abbotts Court, Wheatley Hill, a much loved husband to his late wife, a dear brother and a gentle-man. Funeral service on Friday, March 9 at St. Alban's Church, Trimdon Grange at 10.30 a.m., prior to cremation at Durham. Friends invited, please meet at the Church.

MOFFAT - March 5, of Coundon. Alfred, aged 76 years, a dearly loved brother and uncle. Will friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium at 1.30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu for the Residents' Fund at Howlish Hall may be left at the crematorium.

Norman, aged 96 years (formerly of Shildon), dearly loved husband of the late Elsie Ann (nee Cargrave), greatly loved brother of Ann, Constance and the late Ronald. Service in St. Paul's Church, Bishopton Road, Stockton on Thursday, March 8 at 12.30 p.m., prior to interment at Durham Road Cemetery. NIXON - On March 7, of Morpeth, formerly of Chilton, Co. Durham, peacefully in Howard Castle Nursing Home, Morpeth. Ethel, aged 78 years, a beloved wife of the late John, loving mother of Ann and Garry, a devoted grandma to Amy and John and sister of George. Loved and sadly missed. Interment will take place at Chilton Cemetery, Co. Durham on Wednesday, March 14 at 11.00 a.m., followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Longhorsley Mission Hall at 12.30 p.m. Friends and family are welcome. Linda, aged 59 years, dearly loved wife of John, a much loved mam of Terry and Tony, mother-in-law of Louise and Diane, a dear gran of Ian, Kirsty, Keighley and Jordan and step-gran of Melissa. Friends please meet for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium on Thursday, March 8 at 11.00 a.m. Friends welcome for refreshment in Ushaw Moor Catholic Club afterwards. Dearly loved partner of Richard, loving mother of Leslie and Sarah and the dear grandmother of Jessica, Rebecca, Kirsty, Eleanor and Reece. Maureen, aged 66 years (former employee at Rothmans) dearly loved wife of Bob and mother of Michael, a dear mother-in-law of Anita and gran of Reece and Kieron.
