Cremation Durham Crematorium on Thursday June 21. Friends please accept this intimation and meet for service at the Crema torium at 1.30 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers if so desired to the Alzheimers Society. All enquiries to East Durham Funeral Service Peterlee. Tel: (0191) 5864322.

RENWICKS - June 18, of Bishop Auckland. Keziah (Kizzy), aged 70 years, dearly loved partner of Kenny, also a much loved aunt, great-aunt and sister-in-law. Will friends please meet for service in St. Wilfrid's R.C. Church at 10.00 a.m. on Monday, June 25, followed by interment in Bishop Auckland Cemetery.

RICHARDSON - Thomas, aged 82 years, of Worton, near Askrigg, died peacefully at home on June 16, dearly loved husband of Midori and much loved father of Mariko. Cremation private, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at St. Oswald's Church, Askrigg on Monday June 25 at 12.30 p.m. Friends please meet at the Church. If desired donations may be given on the plate provided in the Church for Yorkshire Cancer Research.

ROBERTS - June 14, in Barrington Lodge Nursing Home. Elizabeth (nee Sheldon), aged 80 years, a dearly loved mother of Albert, dearest sister-in-law of Audrey and a loving aunty. Cremation Friday June 22 at Durham. Cortege leaving her sister-in-law's residence for a service in the Crematorium Chapel at 1.00 p.m. Friends please meet at the Crema torium. Greatly missed by all who knew her.

ROBINSON - June 13, of Denewood Close, Willington. Grace Nina, beloved wife of the late Pastor Leslie Robinson. Service of Thanksgiving to be held at Willington Methodist Church on Monday, June 25 at 11.00 a.m. Interment to follow. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to Chapel Funds.

ROBINSON - June 17 (peacefully), of Stanhope. John Thomas (Tommy), aged 74 years, much loved husband, dad, brother, granda and father-in-law. Dearly missed by all family and friends. Interment Tuesday, June 26 in Crosshills Cemetery, Stanhope, following a service in St. Thomas' Church, Stanhope at 10.00 a.m. Friends please meet at Church.

ROOKES - Doris June 19, 2007, of Haswell, aged 67 years. We have lost part of our lives very suddenly, we will always love and never forget the wife of devastated husband Sidney, mother of inconsolable children Kevin, Sharon and Carol, saddened grandchildren Rhea and Kieran and brother Albert and sister Margaret. Our love will alway stay strong. Service to take place at St. Paul's Church, Haswell at 10.30 a.m. on Monday, June 25, followed by interment in South Hetton Churchyard. Donations in lieu of flowers to Cancer Research.

SMILLIE - June 19, late of Cosgrove Avenue, Bishop Auckland. Eleanor Elizabeth (nee Barker), aged 85 years, dearly loved and loving wife of the late Victor, a beloved mam of Thomas, Margaret and Christopher, a loving mother-in-law, nana and great-nana. You will never be alone Mam, now you are in God's care. Dad was waiting for you with another life to share. Interment Wednesday, June 27 in Rosemount Cemetery, South Church following a service in St. Andrew's Church, South Church at 12.30 p.m. Friends please meet at church.

SMITH - Margaret Ann, aged 93 years, formerly of North Cowton, died peacefully at Richmond House, Richmond on June 18. Beloved wife of the late Arthur, much loved mother of Violet, Robert, Irene, Harold, Myra, Jean, John and Alan and a dear mother-in-law, loving nanna, great-nanna and great-great-nanna. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Friday, June 22 at 10.45 a.m. Friends please meet at the Crematorium Chapel. Family flowers only please, if desired, donations may be given on the plate provided at the Crematorium for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Will friends please meet for service in Shildon Methodist Chapel at 12.30 p.m. on Monday, June 25, followed by cremation at Durham.

SOWERBY - June 14, of Shildon. Barry, aged 53 years, dearly loved dad of Steven, Shaun, Ian and Christopher, a much loved son of Vereda, also a dear brother. Will friends please meet for service in St. John's Church, Shildon at 2.00 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, followed by interment in Shildon Cemetery.

STACEY - Hannah Elizabeth (Betty). Died peacefully, on July 15. Beloved wife of the late Len, loving mam of Shirley, Tony, Michael and Bryan, nana to Darren and Justin and great-nana to Darren, Jake, Gary and Terry. Will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral service to take place at St. Edmund's Church, Sedgefield on Monday June 25, at 2.00 p.m. prior to cremation at Durham Crematorium.

STOKER - June 20, of Barrington Lodge Nursing Home, Bishop Auckland, (late of Crook). Jessie, (nee Copping), aged 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Ernest, a dearly loved mother of the late Jeff, a dear mother-in-law, nana and great-grandmother. Friends please meet for service in Dawson Street Methodist Church, Crook on Wednesday June 27, at 1.00 p.m. followed by interment in Crook Cemetery.

Fernley (Mick), aged 71 years, dearly loved husband of Mary, much loved dad of Angus and Richard, dear father-in-law of Jayne and Nicola, wonderful grandad of Sophie, Charlotte and Christopher and a good friend to many. Will friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium at 11.30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26. Family flowers only by request.

A much loved husband of Trish, dearly loved dad of Angela, Christopher and Gemma, also an adored grandad of Craig, Chloe and Morgan. Funeral Wednesday June 27. SWALL - Leslie On June 20, after a short illness, aged 87 years, of Northallerton, formerly of Lazenby Grange. Dearly loved husband of the late Eileen, loving father of David and daughter-in-law Ruth and much loved grandad of Philip and Iain. Private family cremation followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Danby Wiske Parish Church on Thursday, June 28 at 12.00 noon. Family flowers only. Donations, if wished, may be given for the Herriot Hospice Homecare and Church Funds.

TINSLEY - On June 20, peacefully in hospital, of Raby Terrace, Willington. William Leslie (Les), aged 84 years, beloved husband of Jean (nee Simm), loving father of Moira and Trevor, dear father-in-law of Graham and Marie-Anne, also a devoted grandad of Fraser and Rebecca. Friends please meet for service at Willington Methodist Church on Thursday, June 28 at 1.45 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to the Alzheimers Society may be left in the Church. All are welcome for refreshments afterwards in the Church Hall.

TOWERS - Malcolm, aged 53 years, died June 15 at home of 53 Monkside, Eastfield Dale, Cramlington, Northumberland, formerly of Evenwood, a deeply loved son of the late Irene and Harry and a much loved brother of Patricia and brother-in-law Harry, also a dearest uncle of Joanne and Mark, a deeply loved dad of Sarah, Simon, Kathryn and Samantha and father-in-law and friend to their partners and a much loved granda to all his grandchildren. Funeral service on Tuesday, June 26 at St Nicholas' Church, Cramlington at 12.45 p.m., followed by interment at Whitley Bay Cemetery at 2.00 p.m. Will family and friends please meet at Church. Annie (former Church Organist), aged 92 years, devoted wife of the late Walter, loving mother of Lynda and the late Alan, dear mother-in-law of Dave and Jean and a much loved grandmother. A private cremation will be followed by a Celebration of Life at St. Thomas' Church, Stanhope on Friday, June 22 at 3.00 p.m. Family flowers only please.

VERNER - June 16, 2007. Peacefully, in Bethany House Nursing Home. Paul, aged 73 years.
