Mary, aged 100 years, dearly loved wife of the late Herbert, very dear mother to John and Elisabeth, a much loved mother-in-law, loving granny and great-grandma. Funeral service to be held at St. Edmund's Church, Marske on Saturday, July 14 at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment in the churchyard. Will friends please meet at the church and accept this intimation.

ROSS - John (Jack), of Keg-worth, Derbyshire, formerly of View Lane, Stanley, passed away on June 27, 2007, aged 66 years. Funeral service to be held at 3.30 p.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Loughborough Crematorium Chapel. Enquiries to G. Gamble and Sons (Quorn) Ltd., 101a Meeting Street, Quorn, Leics. LE12 8AQ. RYDE - On June 29, in hospital, of 18 Cliff Drive, Leyburn, formerly of Redmire. Charles Henry (Harry), aged 78 years, much loved husband of Nenette and a father, brother to Mary and Carol, brother-in-law and uncle. Funeral service at St. John's Church, Hipswell on Saturday, July 7 at 11.00 a.m., followed by interment at Hipswell Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Desmond, of Northallerton, aged 90 years, dearly loved husband of the late Edna, loving father of Yvonne, dearest grandad of Mark and Samantha. Gwendoline Maria, aged 93 years, beloved wife of the late Roy and a dearly loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral Wednesday, July 11. Friends please meet for Requiem Mass at St. Anne's Church, Welbeck Avenue at 9.30 a.m., followed by cremation at Darlington Crematorium. Beloved wife of the late Stan, a dearly loved mam of Barbara and Colin, loving mother-in-law, a much loved grandma of Dianne, Peter, Claire and Steven and a dear sister and aunt. Would friends please meet in St. Paul's Church, Spennymoor, Tuesday for a service at 12.10 p.m. followed by committal at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only, donations lieu if desired may be given to the family for 'Cancer Research U.K.'

STOBBS - July 3, (peacefully, at home in Shildon with his family). Ronald, (Nat), aged 71 years. Beloved husband of the late Heather, a much loved dad of Gail, Kevin, Karen and Daryll, also a devoted grandad and friend to all. Will friends please meet for service at St. John's Church, Shildon 11.00 a.m. on Monday July 9, prior to interment in Shildon Cemetery. At Peace with his loving wife Heather, together in eternal love.

Dearly loved husband of Pat, much loved dad of Janette and Diane, dear father-in-law of Sean and loving grandpa of Daniel and Matthew. Funeral Thursday July 12. Raymond, aged 76 years, loving husband of Mary, a proud and devoted father of David and the late Louise, dearest grandad of Jonathan, Adam, Caroline, Andrew, Ellen and Joseph, caring and loving father-in-law to Joanne and Phil and a beloved brother, uncle, good friend and neighbour to everyone he knew. Cortege to leave her daughter's residence at 10.20 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11 for service in St. John's Church, Shildon at 10.30 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham. All are welcome to either service, after the church service all are welcome to refreshments in the Civic Hall. Any flowers or enquiries c/o the daughter Mrs. S. Atkinson.

Kenneth (Kenny), aged 54 years, beloved husband of Janet, dearly loved father of Martin, a much loved son of Walter and Winnie and a dear brother of Paula, Lynn and Ian. Funeral Tuesday July 10. Friends please meet for service at Darlington Crematorium at 2.45 pm and afterwards all are welcome to Darlington Rugby Club.

ALDERSON - On June 21, suddenly on holiday, of Station Road, Ushaw Moor. Ernie, aged 82 years, dearly loved husband of Hazel, a much loved dad of Susan, David and Nina and a dear brother of Ruth. Friends please meet for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium on Friday, June 29 at 11.00 a.m. No flowers by request. Friends welcome for refershments at Mount Oswald Manor after-wards.

ATKINSON - Kathleen Mary On June 25, peacefully in hospital. Kath (nee Hornsby), aged 72 years, a much loved mum of Susan, a dear mother-in-law of Andy, a loving sister of Tony and David and also a very special gran of Nathan, Emily and Lauren. Service and cremation takes place in the Chapel of St. Bede, Teesside Crematorium on Monday, July 2 at 1.30 p.m. Would friends please meet at the Crematorium Chapel. A devoted husband of Maureen (Bunt), loving dad of the late Joanne and a much loved granda of Nathan, eldest son of Elizabeth Bell.
