PEARSON - Kay Louise (Sisson) Peacefully on September 29. Kay of South Thornborough. Dearly loved wife of Cliff, daughter of Gerald and sister of Stephen and Andrew. Family and friends please meet at Darlington Crematorium on Friday October 5, at 2.15 p.m. for service.

PEPPER - October 3, of Toronto, Bishop Auckland. Sydney (Syd), aged 91 years, devoted and dearly loved husband of the late Margaret Ann, also a dear uncle and great-uncle. Will friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium at 1.30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10.

PERCIVAL - On October 4 (peacefully in Chimneys Residential Home, Sherburn Hill), formerly of Forster Avenue, Sherburn Village. Matthew (Matt), aged 92 years, a sadly missed uncle of Sheila, Bob and family. Would friends please meet for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium on Wednesday, October 10 at 2.00 p.m. Refreshments afterwards at Sherburn Village W.M.C.

PETTY - October 1, peacefully at home with his family in Shildon, after a long battle with cancer, fought with great courage and dignity. Gordon, aged 61 years, devoted husband of Pam, loving dad of Mark, Jill and Richard, a treasured grandad, much loved son of Vi, a beloved brother to Val, Lyn, Denise and the late Anne, also a good friend of many. A celebration of his life will be held in St. John's Church, Shildon at 1.30 p.m. on Friday, October 5, followed by cremation at Durham. All welcome after the service for refreshment in Elm Road Club. Black clothing not essential. No flowers please. Donations in lieu may, if desired, be given to the Macmillan Nurses and the MARA Unit at Bishop Auckland General Hospital.

POLLARD - September 29 (in hos-pital), of Langley Moor (formerly of Durham City). Norman, aged 72 years, leaving a loving wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren and sisters. Friends please meet for service and committal at Durham Crematorium on Monday October 8 at 1.00 p.m. All are welcome afterwards at Mount Oswald Golf Club. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to Cancer Research. Plate provided at the Crematorium.

POND - September 29, (peacefully, in hospital, after a long illness), of Wheatley Hill. Susannah, (nee Potts), aged 78 years. Loving wife of Thomas, much loved mam of Adrian and Nigel, mother-in-law of Wendy and grandmother of Sophie. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday October 10. Friends please meet for a service at St. Mary's Church, Easington at 10.30 a.m. followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to, The Alzheimers Day Centre, 2 Heather Grove, Hartlepool. TS24 8QZ.

PULLAN - Margaret Dorothy, aged 88 years, formerly of Manor House, Tunstall, died peacefully in hospital on October 5. Beloved wife of the late Gordon, much loved mother of Cecil and Kathy, loving gran of Robert and Clare and great-gran of Josh, Harriet, Ben and Max. Funeral arrangements later.

QUIN - On September 27, of Howarth Terrace, Haswell. Matthew, aged 78 years, a dearly beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Dixon) and a dear brother and uncle of all the family. RATCLIFFE - September 28 (peacefully at home). George, aged 83 years, of Cromarty Close, Darlington, a dearly loved husband, dad and gramp. Will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. ROBERTSON - Ian Ian, passed away peacefully on September 30 at home. Dearly beloved husband of the late Eileen Mary (nee Veale), formerly of Long Newton. Will be sadly missed by family and friends. SHERWOOD - Eric, aged 74 years, of Romanby died peacefully in hospital on Thursday, September 27, 2007, a loving husband of Maureen, a much loved brother-in-law and uncle. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. Funeral service will be held at St James' Church Romanby on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 10.40 a.m., followed by cremation at Darlington Crematorium. Family flowers only please.
