TEALE - Patterson (Bert) On November 24, peacefully at James Cook Hospital, Middlesbrough, former gamekeeper of Swinton Estate, aged 96 years. Beloved husband of the late Mary Jane (Nellie), dear uncle of Bill, Iris and family. Funeral service to be held at St. Mary's Church, Masham on Saturday, December 1 at 2.00 p.m.

TEASDALE - Mary (nee Weir) aged 86 years, of Woodland died peacefully in hospital on November 26, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late John Joseph Teasdale, much loved and respected mam of Leonard, Sylvia and Mervyn, dear mother-in-law to Charles friend of Shirley, devoted nana of Chris, Claire, Karen, Adrian, Sarah and Helen, adored gran of Brogan, Callum, Thomas, Regan and Thea. "She loved them all dearly", also a much loved sister, sister-in-law and aunt. At Mary's request a funeral service for family only will take place at Durham Crematorium on Tuesday, December 4 at 11.00 a.m., followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Woodland Methodist Chapel at 12.15 p.m. Friends please meet at the Chapel. Family flowers only please, if desired, donations may be given on the plate provided in the Chapel for Woodland Chapel and Woodland Village Hall Funds. Mary was a special lady and will be greatly missed.

THOMPSON - On November 28, late of Alcote Grove, Shotton Colliery. Thomas Raymond aged 82 years, a dearly beloved husband of the late Gladys, much loved dad of Geraldine, Robert, Vivienne and the late Colin, dear father-in-law of Paddy, Mary and Jack, also a devoted grandad and great-grandad to all the family. Friends please meet on Tuesday December 4 at 9.45 a.m. for service and interment at St. Saviour's Church, Shotton Colliery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to the Macmillan Nurses, care of Ivan Cochrane at Cochrane's Funeral Directors. Tel: (0191) 5862136.

TRELFER - Vera On November 25, peacefully at Long Meadow Nursing Home, Ripon, aged 85 years. Vera Trelfer, formerly of Catterick Village and Stokesley. Dearly loved wife of the late Ken, much loved mother of Judy, Pat and Ken, dear mother-in-law of John, Liz and the late Noel, devoted gran to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Service and cremation at Harrogate Crematorium on Tuesday December 4, at 11.40 a.m. Family flowers only by request, donations if desired for Save The Children. Plate provided at the service.

UMPLEBY - Margaret of Northaller ton. Died peacefully with her family on November 29, 2007, aged 76 years. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. The funeral service will take place at All Saint's Parish Church, Northallerton on Thursday, December 6, at 12.00 noon followed by interment. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu may be given to, The Herriot Hospice Home Care and Marie Curie.

WALKER - November 27, peacefully at Sedgefield Community Hospital. Rhoda, aged 86 years, of Ferryhill. Beloved wife of the late Les, loving mam of Ann, Les and Susan, dear mother-in-law of Colin and Pat and a much loved nana, great-nana and great-great-nana. Would friends please meet for service on Wednesday, December 5 at 10.00 a.m. at Durham Crematorium Chapel. No flowers by request.

WEBB - November 23, in hospital, of Staindrop Crescent, Darlington. Ray, aged 81 years, beloved husband of the late June, dearly loved father of Pauline and Christine, father-in-law of Robert and Steve, also a much loved grandad and great-grandad. Funeral Friday, November 30. Friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 11.15 a.m.

WHALEY - (nee Shields) November 24, suddenly at home, of Denton Close Darlington. Eileen, aged 84 years, beloved wife of the late Dougie, much loved mother of Nigel, Joyce and the late David and dear sister of Margie, Mick and the late Bob and Kath. Funeral Monday, December 3. Friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 1.15 p.m. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired may be sent for St. Teresa's Hospice, The Woodlands, 91 Woodland Road, Darlington DL3 7UA.

WILKINSON - (nee Gittins) November 21, peacefully but suddenly in hospital, of Greencroft Court, Darlington (formerly of Berkeley Road). Jean, aged 81 years, beloved wife of George, beloved mum of Elaine and husband Steve, beloved grandma of Michael, Andrew, Sophie and Lucy and sister to Stan. Funeral Friday, November 30. Friends please meet for service in St. Columba's Church, Clifton Avenue at 12.30 p.m., followed by cremation. Donations, if desired, may be left in church for Church Funds. Special thanks to all intermediate care staff on community, I.C.S. at Eastbourne Rehabilit-ation, all carers from Seraph, district nurses and staff providing 24 hour care, all other Health Care professionals who helped with mum and Dr. Uitenbosch. Thank you all for being so kind and caring.

Michael Edward, aged 34 years, beloved son of Ted and Anne, brother of Carol, loving father of Karla and Kray, uncle of Ellis and Lucymae, also a dear nephew and cousin. Will friends please meet for service in Woodhouse Close Church at 12.00 noon on Monday, December 3, followed by private cremation. Very Sadly Missed

Tommy, aged 88 years, beloved husband of the late Lily, much loved dad of Tom and Ron and father-in-law of Carol and Pauline, a dearly loved grandad of Laura, David and Lisa. BENTLEY - November 16, peacefully in hospital, of The Broadway, Darlington. Charles, aged 82 years, dearly loved husband of Doreen, much loved dad of Michael and Christine, loving grandad of Adrian and will be sadly missed by Susan, Hayley and Jodie. BROOKS - Janet Christine (nee Bunton), aged 59 years died November 5, 2007 in Cheltenham General Hospital. Beloved elder daughter of Ruby and the late Jack Bunton of Sunnybrow, a sister and sister-in-law of Maurice and Margaret, Malcolm and Denise and the late Alison Margaret, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. The funeral was held in Cheltenham on November 15, 2007.
