Friends please meet for service in Shildon Methodist Chapel on Monday, October 16 at 12.15 p.m., followed by private cremation. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if so desired, may be sent to the Butterwick Hospice, Macmillan House, Woodhouse Lane, Bishop Auckland, DL14 6JU.


HATHAWAY - October 11, as the result of an accident. Jacqueline (Jacqui), aged 33 years, of Bishop Auckland. Dearly loved daughter of Keith and Joyce, also a dear sister, aunt and friend to many. Full particulars will follow.


HENDERSON - Peacefully in hospital on October 10, of Rowley Close, New Brancepeth. Jennie (nee Timmons), aged 80 years, dearly loved mother of Andrew, Margaret, Mary, Wayne and the late John, a dear mother-in-law and greatly loved nana and great-nana. Friends please meet for service in St. Catherine's Church on Monday, October 16 at 2.45 p.m., followed by interment in Ushaw Moor Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu may be given after the service, in envelopes, for St. Cuthbert's Hospice.


HILL - October 8 (peacefully), of Shildon. Gladys (nee Lee), in her 100th year, beloved wife of the late Joe, loving sister-in-law of Nancy, also a dear aunt and great-aunt and friend to many. Friends please meet for service in Shildon Methodist Chapel on Monday, October 16 at 9.45 a.m., followed by cremation in Darlington Crematorium.


HINDMARCH - October 5, peacefully at home with her family in St. Helens Auckland. Dorothy May (Dot), in her 79th year, devoted wife of Maurice, much loved mam of Margaret, Barbara and Jan, dear mother-in-law to Brian and Norman, loving nana to Fiona and Lee, Rachael, Lee and Kim, special nana Dot to Jodie-Leigh, Bethan, Keira and Brennan, also a much loved aunt. Will friends please meet for service in St. Helen's Church at 1.00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, followed by cremation at Durham. Gentle Jesus up above, please give Nana Dot all our love.

Allan, aged 65 years, of St. Helens Auckland, a devoted and loving husband of the late Joan, much loved dad of Craig and Claire, dear father-in-law of Dawn and David, special foster dad of Joanne, a much loved and loving granda to Sara, Andrew and Jessica, great-granda to Caitlyn, also a dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, a very special son-in-law and friend to Ethel Richardson. IDDON - Formerly of Thornley. Passed away peacefully after a long illness in Peterborough on October 11. Billy, aged 77 years. Beloved husband of the late Mary Alice (nee O'Neill), a much loved dad, father-in-law, also devoted grandad, great-grandad and a sadly missed brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Friends please meet for service at St. William's R.C. Church, Trimdon Village on Wednesday October 18, at 2.00 p.m. followed by interment in Trimdon Grange Cemetery.
