Olive Margaret, aged 83 years, beloved wife of the late Charles Melville, dearly loved mother of Heather and mother-in-law of the late Brian, loving grandma of Karen and Blayne, Paul and Tanya and devoted great-grandma of Cooper. Funeral Thursday, October 26. In respect of Olive's wishes friends please meet for service at Darlington Crematorium at 10.15 a.m. No flowers please, by her own request.


PEARSON - Olive "God be with you till we meet again". Lovingly remembered, forever in our hearts. daughter Heather and future son-in-law Rick.


PREECE - October 21 (in hospital), of Gladstone Terrace, Station Town. Joseph, aged 81 years, beloved husband of the late Isabel (nee Browne), dearly loved father of Joe and Sheila, dearest father-in-law of Carole and Colin and a much loved grandad. Cortege leaving residence Friday at 10.20 a.m. Friends please meet at Milbank Methodist Church for service at 10.30 a.m., followed by interment at Station Town Cemetery.


PRETTY - October 25, peacefully at Darlington Manor. Violet, aged 91 years, will be sadly missed. Funeral Tuesday, October 31. Would friends please meet for service 1.00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Citadel, prior to cremation. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to the Salvation Army. Promoted to Glory


PYE - October 24, of Sunniside, Tow Law. John, aged 83 years, beloved husband of the late Ethel, devoted dad of Nancy, dear father-in-law to Frank, also a much loved and loving granda of Judith. Will friends please meet for service in St. Thomas' Church, Stanley at 10.30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 31, followed by cremation at Durham.


RAINE - October 18 (in hospital), of Brandon. Margie, aged 63 years, dearly loved wife of Bill, a loving mam, nanna, great-nanna and a good friend to all. Friends please meet for service at St. John's Church, Meadowfield on Wednesday October 25, at 12.45 p.m. Cremation to follow at Durham.


RAINE - October 19, peacefully in St. Helen's Nursing Home, late of Oak Terrace, Bishop Auckland. Amy, previously Macdonald, nee Jackson, aged 78 years, much loved wife of Syd, devoted mam and mother-in-law of Malcolm and Pam, Ann and Graham, also a loving gran to Lisa, Stephen, Kes, Sarah and Robert and great-gran of Ben and Amelia. Would friends please meet for service at St. Andrew's Church, South Church on Friday, October 27 at 1.30 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Sadly missed by all

ROBSON - Christopher, of Easington Village, peacefully in hospital, on October 19, aged 85 years. Dick, a much loved husband to Dorothy (nee Harrison), a devoted dad, dear father-in-law and a cherished grandad and great-grandad. Cortege to leave his residence on Wednesday for service at the Church of the Ascension, Easington Colliery at 11.00 a.m., prior to cremation at Sunderland Crematorium. Joyce, aged 73 years, of Jedburgh Drive, dearly beloved mam of Tim, John and Jayne, also a very special nanny to Emma, Connor, Scott, Ben and Robbie, dear sister of Rita, sister-in-law of Vin and cousin of Barbara. SEWARDS - Lilian Joyce (Lil), aged 71 years, of Barton, died peacefully at home on October 25 after an illness borne with great courage and dignity. Dearly loved wife of Ray, much loved mother of Mark and Richard, dear mother-in-law to Eleri, loving grandma of James, Alex and Daniel and dearest sister to Bert and Pearl. Funeral service at St Cuthbert's Church, Barton on Thursday, November 2 at 1.30 p.m., followed by private cremation. Friends please meet at the church. Florrie, aged 95 years, dearly loved wife of the late Frank, dear mother of Alan and Valerie and grandmother of Martin and Alan. SMITHSON - Peacefully at Hexham General Hospital, on October 23, 2006. Jean (nee Welling), aged 87 years, widow of Bill Smithson and a much loved and respected mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed. Her funeral will be at Mountsett Crematorium, Dipton, Consett on Monday, October 30 at 3.30 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held at All Saints' Church, West Avenue, Gosforth on November 9 at 2.30 p.m. (Please contact family for details).


SUNTER - John, peacefully in hospital, on October 22, aged 86 years (of Hawes). Beloved husband of the late Mary, dear father of Norma, also a much loved grandad and great-grandad. Service and cremation to take place on Wednesday, November 1 at Teesside Crematorium, Acklam Road, Middlesbrough in the Chapel of St. Hilda at 11.45 a.m. Will friends please meet at the Crematorium. Eva (nee Vickers), aged 81 years, beloved wife of the late Vince, dearly loved mam of Valerie and Barry, a dear mother-in-law of Godfrey and Irene, devoted gran of Joanne and Steven, Claire and Jill, also a much loved great-gran of Megan and Kyle. Friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium on Tuesday, October 31 at 10.00 a.m., followed by cremation.
