Would friends please meet in St. Charles' R.C. Church, Tudhoe Village on Thursday for a service at 10.00 a.m., followed by burial at Rock Road Cemetery. R.I.P


McHUGH - (Alnwick) Late of Ushaw College and Durham University. Suddenly, at The Convent of Mercy, Alnwick on February 3, aged 78 years. Very Reverend Canon John Francis McHugh, dearly loved brother of Monica, Adrian and Damien, a much loved uncle and very well loved by his community in Alnwick. Requiem Mass at St. Paul's Church, Alnwick on Tuesday February 14, at 10.00 a.m. Reception at St. Peter's Church, Stalybridge Bridge on Tuesday February 14, at 7.00 p.m.


MILNER - On February 5, of Musgrave Gardens, Gilesgate. Margaret, aged 83 years, dearly loved wife of the late Dougie, also a loving mother of Jean and grandma of Helen, Nicola and Graham. Friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium on Monday, February 13 at 1.00 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to St. Cuthbert's Hospice, c/o Stuart Wright Funeral Service, 23 Marshall Terrace, Gilesgate, Durham.

MYERS - Darlington February 2, peacefully in hospital, of Annandale. John, aged 81 years, beloved husband of Nancy, a much loved father and grandfather. Sadly missed by all family and friends. NELSON - February 7, in hospital, of Adelphi Court, Darlington. Marjorie, aged 74 years, dearly loved mother of Alicia, Ailsa and Elspeth and a much loved grandma of Aiden and Eliza. Funeral Monday. RAMSAY - Olive (nee Clark), aged 93 years, of Hallgarth Villas, Sherburn, peacefully in hospital. Leaves daughter Jane and son-in-law David, granddaughter Libby, grandson-in-law Stuart and great-grandson Jack. Funeral service at St. Mary the Virgin, Sherburn on Thursday, February 9 at 2.10 p.m., followed by private committal at Durham Crematorium. No mourning dress, by request.
