KENNY - Angus February 15, suddenly, in hospital, of Westgarth Grove, Shotton. Angus, aged 68 years (husband of the late Ivy), dearly beloved partner of Irene, loving dad, step-dad, grandad and great-grandad. Interment Shotton Churchyard Wednesday, February 22. Friends please accept this intimation and meet for service at St Saviour's Church, Shotton at 11.00 a.m. Resting at East Durham Funeral Service, Horden.Tel (0191) 5864322.


KIDD - (nee Lund) February 12, formerly of Westmoreland Street, Darlington. Vera, aged 89 years, beloved wife of the late Bill, also a much loved aunty of Carol, Stephen, Rita and Cheryl. The funeral service will take place Tomorrow, Thursday, February 16 1.15 p.m. at St. Mark's Church, North Road, Darlington, prior to interment in North Cemetery. Floral tributes may be sent to John Meynell Funeral Service, 150 North Road, Darlington.

Doris (nee Joyce), aged 80 years, beloved wife of Edward, a much loved mother of Ann and Dennis, also a dearly loved mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister-in-law of Billy. Funeral Friday, February 17. Would friends please meet at 10.00 a.m. for service in St. Paul's Church, followed by interment in York Hill Cemetery.

Margaret (nee Phillis-kirk), aged 56 years, dearly loved wife of Tom, loving mam of Paul, dear sister of Michael, Linda, Keith and the late Bryan, also a much loved aunt. Funeral Wednesday, February 15. Would friends please meet for service in St. Andrew's Church, Haughton Green at 2.00 p.m., prior to private cremation. Family flowers only please. MARQUIS - February 15 (in hospital), of West Lodge Nursing Home, Billy Row, Crook (late of Rescue Station Cottages, nr Roddymoor, Crook). Dorothy Lilian (nee Wearmouth), aged 97 years. Dearly beloved wife of the late George, dearest mother of Kenneth, Brian and Heather and a dear mother-in-law of Vera, Janet and the late Terence, a much loved and loving grandmother and great-grandmother. Cremation Thursday February 23 at Durham, following a service in St. Catherine's Church, Crook at 10.00 a.m. Friends please meet at church. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made for Auckland Park Hospital, Bishop Auckland and West Lodge Nursing Home. Donations may be left with Dorothy's son Brian.

Annie (Nancy), aged 86 years, dearly loved wife of the late John Edwin, cherished mum of Christine and Lesley, dearest mother-in-law of John and Ian, a devoted gran and great-gran of Anthony, Louise, Michael, James, Samantha, Johnathon and Jessica and a much loved sister of Winnie and Vera. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral Wednesday, February 22. Committal service to be held at Darlington Crematorium at 10.45 a.m., followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at the Christian Life Centre, Village Close, Woodham at 11.30 a.m. Would friends kindly meet at the Crematorium or the Church. Maureen, aged 72 years, beloved wife of Dennis, a much missed mam of Ralda and David and a dear gran to Darren and Nicki, Dean and Corrine, Kevin and Leanne and great-gran to Billy and Katie. Would friends please meet for service at St. Joseph's Church, Coxhoe on Tuesday, February 21 at 10.15 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium.


McGUINNESS - February 8 (peacefully in hospital, after a short illness), of Bishop Auckland, formerly of Witton Park. Tom, aged 79 years, beloved husband of the late Cathy, much loved father of Shaun, Corinne and Anthony, a dear father-in-law and devoted grandad. Mr. McGuinness to be received into St. Mary's R.C. Church, Bishop Auckland on Thursday, February 16 at 6.00 p.m. Requiem Mass to be held on Friday, February 17 at 10.00 a.m., followed by interment in Bishop Auckland Cemetery.


McKAY - Roland February 12. Beloved grandson of the late Meg and Reuben Dowding, (Kelloe). Much loved son of Doris and the late Bob, dearest brother of David and Stuart and very special nephew of Tom, Norman, Sally, Reuben and the late Margaret. Will be sadly missed by all who loved him.

Kevin, aged 73 years, beloved husband of Wendy, dearly loved dad of Stephen, Laurie, Kevin, John, Angela and Alan and a very dear father-in-law and grandad. Funeral service in celebration of Kevin's life to be held in St. Hilda's Chapel, Teesside Crematorium on Friday, February 17 at 2.15 p.m., prior to cremation. Will friends please meet at the crematorium chapel (no black ties). No flowers by his own request. Donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, for Teesside Hospice, c/o the family.

Lawrence (Laurie), aged 86 years, a dearly loved husband of the late Hilda, loving father of Loreen and John, father-in-law of Sue and Rod and dearest grandad to Chris, Andrew and Robert in Canada and Adam. Funeral service and cremation to take place at St. Hilda's Chapel, Teesside Crematorium on Tuesday, February 21 at 11.15 a.m. Family flowers only.
