George, aged 77 years, beloved husband of the late Lydia, devoted dad of Peter, Barbara, Joe, Alan, Stephen, George and Elizabeth Anne, a dear father-in-law, much loved and loving granda and great-granda, also dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. A bus for family and friends will leave the residence at 12.15 p.m. on Thursday, February 16 or, if preferred, all can meet at the crematorium for service at 1.00 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu may be left at the crematorium for the district nurses. Re-united with his sweetheart. Goodnight, God Bless, from all grandchildren and great-grandchildren xx.

COLLINS - On February 10, peacefully at home in Staindrop. Danny, aged 79 years. Beloved husband of Margaret, much loved dad of Tim, Elizabeth and Martyn, also a dearest grandad of Maisie. Funeral service at St. Mary's Church, Staindrop on Wednes-day, February 15 at 11.30 a.m., followed by private interment. Friends please meet at church. No flowers by request. COTTERILL - John Clarkson, aged 89 years, peacefully at home in Staindrop on February 12. Dearly loved husband of Alice and a much loved and respected uncle. Funeral service at St. Mary's Church, Staindrop on Monday, February 20 at 10.15 a.m., followed by cremation. COUSINS - John Graham On February 14, suddenly in hospital. John, aged 72 years, of Darlington (formerly a Teacher at Eastbourne Secondary School), dearly beloved husband of Sylvia, much loved dad of Talfan and Lynfa, father-in-law of Linda and Dave, also a much loved grandad to all the grandchildren and special brother of Gareth. Funeral Wednesday February 22. Would friends please meet for service at Darlington Crematorium at 2.15 p.m., prior to cremation.


COWELL - Hubert February 13, of Ashbrooke Estate, Shotton. Hubert, aged 77 years, dearly beloved husband of Honor, loving father of Barrie, Vicky and Joyce, also a devoted grandad. Cremation Durham Crematorium Monday February 20. Friends please accept this intimation and meet for service at the Crematorium at 10.30 a.m. Bus provided, leaving Co-operative Terrace at 10.00 a.m. Enquiries to East Durham Funeral Service. Tel. Friends welcome for refreshments in Rowley Close Community Hall afterwards.

Jimmy, aged 61 years, beloved husband of Margaret, devoted dad of Michelle and Johnny, much loved and loving grandad to Wayne, Jemma, Dean and Amy, also dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Will friends please meet for service in Ramshaw Methodist Chapel at 11.00 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, followed by interment in Evenwood Cemetery. Family flowers only. John, aged 81 years (retired Northern Echo Driver), darling husband of the late Ellie and a loving father of Paul. Funeral Monday, February 20. DELAP - (Newton Hall) After a long illness, peacefully in hospital on February 7, aged 70 years, Frank, a loving husband of Joan, much loved dad of Stuart and a much loved father-in-law of Shirley, loving grandad of Rebecca , Stephanie and Jessica, also a loved brother. Ann Isabella (Annie), in her 97th year, beloved wife of the late Billy, devoted mam of Gordon, Margaret, Malcolm, Kathleen and the late Betty, a sadly missed mother-in-law of Anne and John, also a treasured gran and great-gran. Would friends please meet for service at St. Paul's Church, Trimdon Colliery on Monday, February 20 at 12.00 noon, prior to cremation at Durham Crematorium.


DOUDICAN - February 9 (suddenly in hospital). Patrick James Edward, aged 65 years, of Darlington, beloved husband of Eileen, loving dad of Peter, Barry, Elaine and Lynda, also a much loved grandad. Jessie (nee Allsopp), aged 85 years, beloved wife of the late Cecil, devoted mother to Brenda, Doris, Billy, Ken and Sheila, loving mother-in-law of Alan, Shirley, Arthur and the late Des, a much loved grandma and great-grandma. Will friends please meet for Requiem Mass at All Saints' R.C. Church on Tuesday, February 14 at 1.00 pm, followed by interment in Chilton Cemetery. All welcome afterwards for refreshments in the Church Hall. Safe in the arms of Jesus
