Jennie (nee Sotheran), aged 91 years, beloved wife of the late Ralph, devoted mam of Delereen (Del), dear mother-in-law of Ron, devoted gran of Sarah-Jane and Stephen and great-gran of Max. Cortege to leave daughter's residence for funeral service of Thanksgiving at Peterlee Methodist Church, Monday at 1.00 p.m. prior to cremation at Sunderland Crematorium, Chester Road. No flowers by request. Donations in lieu if so desired to St. Dunstan's, Room FDA08, Freepost LON20762, Salisbury. SP4 7SL. All enquiries to Mason and Gerald Martin, Tel: (01429) 862021. AINSLEY-WEIGHELL - Peacefully on February 18, of Bishop Auckland. Margaret (nee Hunt), aged 69 years, loving wife of the late Clyde, a devoted mam, nana, great-nana, also a dear mother-in-law, sister, sister-in-law and aunt. Would friends please meet for Requiem Mass in St. Mary's R.C. Church, Bishop Auckland at 1.15 p.m. on Monday, February 27, followed by cremation at Darlington. R.I.P.

Eileen (nee Soakell), aged 84 years, dearly beloved wife of the late William (Bill), devoted mother of Billy, Michael and Elizabeth and a dear mother-in-law, also a dearly loved gran and great-gran. Cremation Thursday February 23 at Darlington. Cortege leaving residence at 12.35 p.m. for a service in Bridge End Methodist Chapel, Frosterley at 12.45 pm. Friends please meet at Chapel. Will friends please meet for service in St. Anne's Church, Bishop Auckland at 12.00 noon on Thursday, February 23, followed by interment in Bishop Auckland Town Cemetery.


BLACKWELL - On February 23 (of Staindrop, formerly of Leicester and Glossop). Fred, a much loved father of Duncan, Richard, Mary, Amy and Jack, also a loving grandfather and friend. The funeral service will take place on Thursday March 2, at 11.45 a.m. at The Methodist Church, Barnard Castle prior to a private cremation. Family flowers only by request.
