Nora, aged 92 years, beloved wife of Ken, loving mam of Kenneth, Maurice, Norma and Judith, also a much loved nana, great-nana and mother-in-law. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, June 29 2.15 p.m. at Darlington Crematorium. Friends welcome, please meet at the Crematorium.


SWAINSTON - Nora (nee Richmond) A peaceful end after a long illness, your great-granddaughters Penny and Faye will be there to greet you. Sadly missed by those in Australia; Kenneth, Isabel, Pamela, Hope and Karen. Whilst our thoughts go out to Grandad Ken.


TAYLOR - June 10 (passed away with courage and dignity in hospital). Edna (nee Maddison), aged 92 years. Beloved wife of the late William, also beloved mam of Elsie, Billy and the late Margaret and a precious grandma. Friends please meet Friday at Horden Salvation Army for service at 11.00 a.m. followed by interment at Thornley Cemetery. Safe in the hands of Jesus.


TAYLOR - June 9 (peacefully, in hospital), of Aquinas Court, Darlington. Neil, aged 47 years, much loved son of Charlie and the late Mary, loving brother of Stuart, also a dearly loved brother-in-law to Janet. Funeral Tuesday, June 20. Would friends please meet 11.45 a.m. for service at Darlington Crematorium.


THORN - June 8, of The Square, St. Helens, Auckland. Doris, aged 91 years, devoted mum of Joan and Rob, dear mother-in-law to Austin and Barbara, a much loved and loving nan and great-nan, also a dear sister and aunt. Will friends please meet for service in St. Helen's Church at 11.45 a.m. on Thursday, June 15, followed by interment in West Auckland Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu may, if desired, be given to the MARA Unit at Bishop Auckland General Hospital.


THORNTON - Washington June 8 (peacefully, in hospital), formerly of Wheatley Hill. Mary (nee Goynes) aged 87 years, a much loved mam to Faith and Marjorie, dear mother-in-law to John and Wilf, devoted nana to David, Alan and David and partners, cherished grreat-nana to Jack. Would friends kindly meet for funeral service at 11.15 a.m. on Wednesday, June 14 at St. Andrew's Church, Concord, prior to interment at Washington Cemetery at 12.00 noon.


TRENHOLME - On June 14 (peacefully at home), of Ashbrooke Estate, Shotton Colliery. Raymond, aged 77 years, a much loved dad of Christine, Carol, Julie, Janice, Malcolm and Martin, a dearest grandad, great-grandad and a dear brother and father-in-law, also a dearly loved companion of Irene. USHER - On June 12, (peacefully), in Sedgefield Community Hospital, in her 87th year. Annie (Nan), nee McKeag. Beloved wife of the late Fred Usher and John Watson, dearest aunt of Jeannie Ann, David and Nicole, loving great-aunt to Christian, Devon, Tyler and Tiffany, devoted friend of Hannah Keaveny without whose generosity, selflessness and devotion life would not have been bearable, Annie's family give her their heartfelt thanks. Would friends please meet at Coxhoe Methodist Chapel on Wednesday June 21, at 10.15 a.m. followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only please. WAITES - June 9 (suddenly, in hospital), of 3 West Cottages, Cotherstone, Barnard Castle. Ronald, aged 92 years. Beloved husband of the late Sheila and a loving father of Ray and Joyce, will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Cortege leaving home residence on Tuesday, June 20 at 2.00 p.m. for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium at 2.30 p.m. Friends please meet at the crematorium.


WARD - Coxhoe June 7, tragically. David, aged 40 years, devoted husband of Mandy, loving father of Davie, devoted son of Anne and the late Billy, much loved brother of Kevin, dear grandson of Violet and the late Bob, dear son-in-law of Hazel and Brian, brother-in-law of Brian, also a dear nephew, cousin and uncle. David will be sadly missed by all his loving family and friends. Friends please meet at St. Mary's Church, Coxhoe on Thursday, June 15 at 2.00 p.m. for service prior to interment in St. Mary's Churchyard. All welcome to return to Coxhoe Working Mens Club afterwards.


WARD - Yvonne June 8, 2006 (in hospital), of Darlington, aged 42 years. A dearly loved daughter, sister and auntie. Marjorie (nee Jopling), aged 69 years, a dearly beloved wife of the late Bob, devoted mother of Janet, David, Jean, Heather and Kevin, a dear mother-in-law of John, Les and Angela, also a much loved gran of Natalie, Claire, Steven and Andrew.
