FLANNIGAN - June 8, suddenly in France, of Darlington. Bobby, aged 59 years, dearly loved husband of Violet and a dear father, grandfather and good friend to many. Funeral Monday, June 19. Service at St. John's Church at 1.30 p.m., followed by interment West Ceme- tery. Strictly no children


FLEMING - The death of Cyril is announced with profound sadness, he died peacefully at home on Thursday June 1, 1006 after a brave battle against illness. Much loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. The funeral has already taken place.


FORSTER - (Barnard Castle) Dorothy, died unexpectedly, but peacefully in hospital on June 8. A week before her 90th birthday. Former librarian and dear sister and aunt, she will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Those friends who can, please come to the funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Friday June 16, at 1.15 p.m. and all friends are invited anyway to come to Dorothy's home afterwards (2.45 p.m.) for refreshments and to share happy memories of her life. Flowers please to G. Brownless and Son, Green Close, Park Terrace, Barnard Castle. DL12 8NN.


FREEMAN - June 9 (peacefully, in hospital), of Grayson Road, Spennymoor, late of Willow Road. James Henry (Jim), dear father of Christine and son-in-law Colin, a dear brother, a very special friend of Betty, Paul and Jan, also a devoted grandad of Jed, Thomas and Amelia. Friends please meet for service in St. Paul's Church on Friday, June 16 at 12.10 p.m., followed by cremation at Darlington Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if so desired, may be sent to Cancer Research c/o Lloyds Bank, Skinner-gate, Darlington or the British Heart Foundation 4 Bridge Street, Tadcaster, North York-shire.


GELDARD - June 11 (peacefully, in hospital), of Ferryhill (formerly of Spennymoor). Agnése Antonietta (nee Di Mascio), aged 70 years, a dearly loved mam of Camille and Gary. Would friends please meet in St. Charles R.C. Church, Tudhoe Village Friday for a Requiem Mass at 1.30 p.m., followed by committal at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to "County Durham and Darlington Acute Trust" c/o Franziska Willer Unit, Sedgefield Community Hospital, Salters Lane, Sedgefield.

GOWEN - June 12 (suddenly at home), of Stockton Road, Darlington. Milly, aged 83 years, beloved wife of the late Ken, loving sister of Marjorie, also a much loved aunt to Colin and family. Funeral Wednesday, June 21. Would friends please meet 3.45 p.m., for service at Darlington Crematorium.


GREGORY - On June 4, suddenly, in hospital. Phyllis, aged 67 years, of Darlington, dearly loved wife of Denis, much loved mam of John and Christine, mother-in-law of Ruth, adored nana of Michael, also a special sister and aunty. Funeral Thursday June 15. Would friends please meet for service at St. Mark's Church, North Road, Darlington at 1.15 p.m., prior to interment.


HARRIS - June 9, peacefully in hospital, surrounded by his family. John (Bill), aged 71 years, of Longfield Road, Darlington, much loved husband of Doreen, dearly loved father of Steve and Mike and a loving father-in-law, grandad, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Funeral Monday, June 19. Friends please meet for service in St. Mark's Church at 11.00 a.m., followed by cremation. HAWES - John, aged 59 years, passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on Saturday, June 10. Beloved husband, father and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Elizabeth Jane (Jenny, nee Plant), aged 91 years, beloved wife of the late John, dearly loved mam of Joan and Eric, dear mother-in-law of Eric and Julie, devoted grandma of Michelle and Denise and great-grandma of Isabelle, Sam and Toby. Friends please meet for service in St. Helen's Church on Wednesday, June 14 at 3.00 p.m., followed by interment in West Auckland Cemetery.


HENDERSON - June 13 (in hospital). John Thomas (Tommy), aged 90 years. Dearly loved husband of Jean, loving father of Terry, Bill, Carol and Jo, dearest father-in-law of Hazel, Dorothy, Mike and Clive, much loved grandfather, great-grandfather, brother-in-law and uncle. Will be sadly missed by all who knew him. On whose soul sweet Jesus have mercy. R.I.P. To be received into St. Mary's R.C. Church, Barnard Castle on Thursday, June 22 at 7.45 p.m. Would friends please meet for Requiem Mass at 11.00 a.m., on Friday, June 23, followed by interment. Donations if desired may be given in Church to Great North Air Ambulance Service (G.N.A.A.S.) and to Barnard Castle Surgery Equipment Fund.

Cath (Nana Cath), aged 75 years, much loved mum of Judith, dear mother-in-law of Robert, loving nana of Emma and Julie, also loving great-grandma of Connor, Markie, Alex and Helen. Friends please meet at Durham Crematorium on Friday, June 16 at 11.30 a.m. for service, prior to cremation. By request, no flowers. HODGSON - June 13, died peacefully at home, in Aiskew. Keith, aged 65 years, beloved husband of Kathleen, loving father of Lorraine and Mark, also a dear father-in-law and grandad. Funeral service to be held at St. Gregory's Church, Bedale on Monday, June 19 at 2.15 p.m., followed by private cremation. Family flowers only. Donations if desired, to be shared between Marie Curie and Macmillan Nurses.

June, aged 59 years, a dearly loved wife of Arthur, loving mother of Jenny, Pam and John and mother-in-law of Raul.
