Dear wife of the late Allan, much loved mother of John, Thomas and Ramsay, mother-in-law of Christine, Beryl and Karen, also a much loved grandmother and great-grandmother. A Memorial service to be held at a later date. Details to follow. Reunited with dad.


O'CONNOR - June 17 (suddenly, in hospital) of Trimdon Village. Mary Elizabeth, aged 69 years. Dearly beloved wife of the late Tommy, a much loved mam to Eddie, John, Doreen and Tommy, loving gran and great-gran, also sister to Jackie and Jimmy, sister-in-law, aunty and friend. Cortege leaving Hart View, Trimdon Village at 9.50 a.m. Wednesday. Friends please meet at St. William's R.C. Church for Requiem Mass at 10.00 a.m. followed by interment at Trimdon Grange Cemetery. On whose Soul sweet Jesus have Mercy R.I.P.

Leatrice, aged 80 years, dearly beloved wife of the late Ralph, loving mother of Bill, Thomas, David, John and the late Ralph, dear mother-in-law of Doreen, Susan, Kay and Susie and also a devoted gran and great-gran. Interment Easington Colliery Cemetery on Tuesday, June 27. William, aged 85 years, of Newton Aycliffe, devoted husband of the late Gladys and loving dad to Josie, much loved grandpa and great-grandad. Funeral Monday, June 26. Funeral service and cremation at Woodlands Crematorium Scarborough on Monday June 26, at 2.40 p.m. No flowers by request please. RIDSDALE - Peter Douglas On June 18, 2006, peacefully, at home. Peter, aged 84 years, of Borrowby, North Yorkshire and formerly of Marton, Middlesbrough. Devoted husband of the late Margaret and wonderful father of Anne, Claire and Jane and grandfather to Nicholas, Peter, Simon, Sarah, David and Robert. He will be much missed by all his family. ROOKING - June 17, suddenly in Zimbabwe (formerly of Spennymoor). Mini (nee Brain), aged 84 years, loving sister of Ethel, Florence, Francis, Betty and Harry, also the late Jack, sister-in-law and aunty. Cremated overseas.


ROOTS - Malcolm, ex-Stockton Councillor, peacefully on June 20, at Whingroves Nursing Home, Eagles-cliffe, after a long illness patiently borne, a dear husband of Linda, father of Andrew, Paul and Joanne, father-in-law of Juliet and Elizabeth, grandad of Tiffany, Amber, Stephanie, Charlie and Hannah and dearest brother of Nigel. Friends please meet for service on Wednesday, June 28 at the Chapel of St Hilda, Teesside Crematorium at 3.45 p.m. Flowers welcome.
