GRAHAM - Suddenly at home, in Bishop Auckland on July 2. Joan (nee Barron), aged 74 years, beloved wife of the late Jimmy, devoted mam of Michael, Katrina and Gail, dear mother-in-law to Marilyn, Shaun and John, a much loved and loving nana and great-nana, also a dear sister, sister-in-law and aunt. Will friends please meet for service in St. Andrew's Church, Bishop Auckland at 11.10 a.m. on Friday, July 7, followed by interment in South Church Cemetery.


GRAHAM - Susan died at home on Thursday, June 29, aged 57 years. She was the very special and much loved wife of John. Sue had fought her illness for the last year always bravely and with a cheerful optimism. She was an inspiration to her husband John and to her two sisters Ann and Pam. Their 'little sister' will be sorely missed, not only by John, Ann and Mike and Pam and Pete but by many others whose lives she touched. Our special thanks to the district nurses and doctor who, together with the Macmillan nurses, occupational therapists, Herriot Hospice Homecarers and Marie Curie nurses worked hard and caringly together to ensure that Sue's last weeks and days were spent peacefully at home in Topcliffe. Funeral Thursday 10.30 a.m. at St. Leonard's Church, Thornton-le-Street.

Hilary (nee Bell), aged 55 years, loving wife of David and much loved mam of Christopher and Louise, a devoted gran of Hannah and Josh and a dear daughter of Gwen and the late Bill (ex Chief Superintendent). Friends please meet at St Mary and St Cuthbert's Church, Chester-le-Street on Thursday, July 6 for service at 2.30 p.m., prior to cremation at Durham Crema torium. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Cancer Research.


GREY - Florence Maud (nee Pearson), died peacefully in The Oaklands Care Home, Bessacarr, Doncaster on June 30, 2006, aged 94 years, formerly from Polam Villa, Darlington and the beloved wife to the late Walter Grey and dear sister to Jean, Ron and the late Lily and Eddie. A funeral service and cremation will take place at Rosehill Crematorium, Doncaster on Tuesday, July 11 at 2.00 p.m. All enquiries to Turner's Funeral Service, Conisbrough, Doncaster. GRIMES - Thomas Keith On July 2 (suddenly, at home). Tom, aged 83 years of Northallerton. Funeral service to be held at Darlington Crematorium on Thursday, July 6 at 2.15 p.m. Family flowers only please by request.


GUY - Winifred May (Peggy), aged 82 years, of 33 Little Ings, Hawes, died peacefully in hospital on July 2. Dearly loved wife of Lol, a much loved mother, mother-in-law, nana and great-nana and dear sister to Evelyn. Private family service at Darlington Crematorium followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at St. Margaret's Church, Hawes on Wednesday, July 12 at 2.00 p.m. Friends please meet at the Church. Family flowers only please, if desired, donations may be given on the plate provided in the Church for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.


HALLEWELL - July 1 (peacefully), of Coniston Street, Darlington. Joan Margaret (nee Barker), aged 82 years. Beloved partner of Bert, much loved mam of Geoffrey and Pauline, cherished mother-in-law of Judy and Brian, devoted nana of Andrea and her husband Michael, Ross, Gavin and Julie and adored great-nana of Alex and Aimee. She will be sadly missed by all other family and her many friends. Funeral Monday July 10. Friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 1.15 p.m. Family flowers only please. HARRISON - Ian June 28, suddenly, at home, of Ripon (formerly of Thirsk). Very dear son of Lloyd and Moira, brother of Heidi and Neil, a 'Service of Tributes' to him will take place at Harrogate Crematorium on Monday, July 10 at 11.40 a.m. Family flowers only please. HEWITT - June 13, tragically, of 46 High Street, Carrville, Durham. Philip John, aged 32 years, devoted son of Kenneth and Ann, beloved brother of Peter and Frances, an adored father of Emma, Michael and Louise. Friends please meet for funeral service at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Gilesgate on Monday, July 10 at 10.30 a.m. Interment to follow in Belmont Cemetery.
