Alan Richard, aged 45 years, a dearly loved and loving son of Robert and Iris, very much loved dad to Carl and Luke, brother to Peter, Kenneth and Christine and families and friend to Debbie. He lightened up all our lives. Will be sadly missed until we meet again. The funeral service will take place on Friday, September 22 at 1.45 p.m. Darlington Crematorium. Family flowers only.


TAYLOR - September 20, peacefully at home, of Oakridge Road, Ushaw Moor. Margaret (Peggy) aged 86 years, dearly loved wife of Lawrence, loving mother of Jim, mother-in-law of Sheila, dearest grandma of James and Matthew and a loving aunty of Nancy and Peter, Lee, David and Paul. Friends please meet for service in St. Edmund's Church, Bearpark on Thursday, September 28 at 12.45 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Donations if desired may be given after the service for Church Funds. Friends welcome for refreshments in Bearpark Club afterwards.


TAYLOR - On September 19 (peacefully, at Morris Grange Nursing Home), formerly of Appersett, near Hawes. Gladys, aged 92 years, dearly loved wife of the late Bill. Funeral service and committal to be held at St. Margaret's Church, Hawes on Tuesday, September 26 at 1.00 p.m., followed by private cremation. No flowers by request however, donations in memory of Gladys, if so desired, may be given at the service for St. Margaret's Church. Will friends please meet at the church and accept this intimation.


THOMPSON - Meg, aged 83 years, of Fairview Gardens, Richmond, formerly of Hartforth, died peacefully at Maple Lodge Nursing Home, Scotton on September 12. Dearly loved wife of Gordon, much loved mother of Phillip and David, dear mother-in-law to Angela and Linda, loving nan of Emma, Mark and Matthew and a dear sister, sister-in-law and aunt. Funeral service at St Agatha's Church, Gilling West on Wednesday, September 20 at 11.30 a.m., followed by interment in the Churchyard. Friends please meet at Church. Family flowers only please, if desired, donations may be given on the plate provided in the Church for Cancer Research U.K.


THOMSON - Jessie Alexandra, peacefully on September 15 in Woking Hospice, Surrey. Beloved wife of Dill (deceased), mother of Fiona and Ian, grandmother of James, Matthew and Susanna, adored eldest sister of six brothers and sisters. Donations to Woking Hospice, GU22 7HW. WATTS - Margaret (nee Atkinson) You've been to us an ever constant daughter, sister and best friend. One upon whom we always could depend. Knowing our failings, you never failed to judge with love when others have assailed. Always in our thoughts. Mam, Sheila, Brian, Cyril and families.

WILD - September 20, of Framwellgate Moor, Durham. Maria, aged 81 years, beloved wife of the late Albert, devoted mam of Sigrid, dear mother-in-law to Raymond, much loved nana of Gary and Nadia, Stuart and Suzanne, also loving great-nana to Hayden. Will friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium at 3.30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26.


WILKINSON - Elizabeth May, peacefully on September 5, aged 104 years, in Ventress Hall Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late William Robert, loving mother of Sylvia and the late George, mother-in-law to Ian, grandmother of David, Katie and the late Susan and great-grandmother of Rebecca and Evie. A private service took place on Friday, September 15 at Darlington Crematorium. The family wishes to thank the loving care of the staff of Ventress Hall over 18 years. Gratitude is also given for the support received from David Preston of Seaton Leng and Son Ltd., Funeral Directors and the much appreciated kindness of Father Michael Francis.
