Beloved wife of the late Bob, dearly loved mum of Robert and the late Jean, loving mother-in-law of George and Andrea, devoted grandma of David, Rachel, Helen, Simon and Jonathan. Funeral Monday, October 2. Would friends please meet for service in St. Peter's Church, Croft at 1.30 p.m., followed by cremation. Family flowers only. Donations if so desired may be sent for St. Peter's Church care of Whitehouse Funeral Service, 17 West Auckland Road, Darlington DL3 9EL. Tel: (01325) 482999.


WINTER - Norah (nee Rivers) Peacefully, in hospital on Wednesday September 20. Norah, aged 70 years, of Fishburn. Dearly beloved wife of the late Bill, dearly loved mother of Sandra, Angela, Fiona, Stephanie and a treasured grandmother to all of her grandchildren. Funeral service to be held on Thursday, September 28, at 1.30 p.m. at St. Catherine's Church, Fishburn prior to cremation at Durham Crematorium at 2.30 p.m. Family flowers only please. YOUNG - September 18, of Percy Street, Crook. Constance Mary (nee Morton), aged 86 years, a dearly loved daughter of the late Thomas Wanless Morton and Mary Armstrong Morton and a very dear friend. Friends please meet for service in St. Catherine's Church, Crook on Monday, October 2 at 11.30 a.m., followed by interment in Crook Cemetery.


YOUNG - September 20, of Bishop Auckland, formerly General Dealer at Coronation. Dorothy Ann (Dot, nee Rose), aged 73 years, beloved wife of Nick, devoted mam of John, Keith, Heather and Philip, a dear mother-in-law, much loved and loving gran to Jason and Mark, also a dear sister, sister-in-law and aunt. Will friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium at 11.00 a.m., on Thursday, September 28. Gone but never forgotten.


AMOS - September 18 (peacefully at home), of Ferryhill. Mary, aged 84 years, beloved wife of George, dearly loved mother of Valerie, George, Ken and the late Mary, also a much loved sister, sister-in-law, gran and great-gran. Would friends please meet for service at Ferryhill Methodist Chapel on Tuesday, September 26 at 12.15 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham.


ARMSTRONG - John Boy It's hard to write on paper, the way I feel inside. I don't need to explain how I feel because you know in your heart the love we had. We had our ups and downs as most people do, but we were there for each other, right up until the end. I look at our children and I see your face, two beautiful angels which bound us together. You fought until the end as hard as you could and I know you did that for us which I will never forget. You gave me a lot of happy years and no-one can ever take away those memories. Your memory will live on in our children and that I will forever make sure of. Like I told you, I will never stop loving you. Your heartbroken wife Louise.

Wilfrid (Wilf), aged 89 years, dearly loved husband of the late Mary, loving father of Barbara and Marian and a dear father-in-law, grandad and brother. Thanksgiving Service to take place at Hutton Rudby Methodist Church on Wednesday, September 27 at 2.00 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations if wished may be given for Highfield Care Home.

BARKLEY - On September 18 (of Darlington). Kenneth (Ken), beloved husband of Minnie (Nina), also a much loved dad, grandad and great-grandad. The funeral service will take place on Monday, September 25, 2.45 p.m., at Darlington Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if so desired, may be made to Ward 42, Darlington Memorial Hospital (plate at the crematorium).


BARLOW - Leonard September 14 (suddenly) in hospital). Leonard, aged 85 years. Beloved husband of Ethel. Much loved father of Christina and Stephen, also a loving grandad and great-grandad. Funeral service to be held at Darlington Crematorium on Thursday September 21, at 1.15 p.m. Family flowers only please by request, donations may be given in lieu if wished to The Heart Foundation, a plate will be provided at the service.

Beloved husband of the late Nora, devoted dad of Susan, David, Liz, Lynn and the late Ian, a dear father-in-law, much loved and loving granda, good friend of Annie, also a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Beloved wife of the late Robert, loving mother of Brian and Colin, dear mother-in-law of Doreen and Maureen, also a much loved grandmother and great-grandmother. Much loved husband of Patsy, loving dad of Samantha, Natasha and Tim, dear father-in-law of David and Shaun, loving grandad to Thomas, Charlotte, Eleanor, Lucy and Charles, dear brother to Pat. Good friend to many. Would friends please meet for funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Monday, September 25 at 10.45 a.m. Family flowers only please. Friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium on Friday, September 22 at 3.30 p.m. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu for Cancer Research U.K. may be given after the service.
