Sid, aged 78 years, of Greatham, beloved husband of Joan (nee Cormack), dearly loved dad of June, Tommy, Anita, Hazel, Janet and Robert, a dear father-in-law and a cherished grandad and great-grandad. Funeral Service of Thanksgiving at the Parish Church of St. John the Baptist, Greatham on Monday at 2.00 p.m., prior to interment at Greatham Parish Cemetery. EDWARDS - Darlington September 22 (tragically as the result of a motorcycle accident), of Park Lane. Darren Tyler (a.k.a. Eddie), aged 36 years, a dearly loved son, brother, beloved dad to Sheridan and step-dad to Joshua, a much loved uncle, also soulmate to Sue. He will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends. Funeral Monday October 2. HARTLEY - Edward (Ted), passed away peacefully in Greenwell Nursing Home, Bedale on Friday, September 22 after a long illness. He will be sadly missed by all his family. Loving father to Richard, Alison and Ben, father-in-law to Lawraine, David and Clare, a proud grandfather of Soulla, Anna, Andrew, Philip and a dearest friend to Pam and Tony. The funeral will be held at St. Radegund's Church, Scruton on Thursday, September 28 at 1.45 p.m. Family flowers only. Melvin Johnson, darling mother of Alan and Greta, dearest mother-in-law of Norene and Wade, loving grandma of Audrey, Kate, Robin and Sophie, great-grandma of Oliver. Friends please meet at St. Mary's Church, Easington Village on Wednesday October 4 at 10.30 a.m. for service, prior to cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only. LIDDLE - Arnold, aged 61 years, of Langleydale, Barnard Castle, formerly of Butterknowle and Cockfield, died peacefully at home on September 28. Dearly loved husband of Josie, loving son of Eleanor and the late Claude, much loved brother to June, Joan and Elaine, a dear brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle and will be sadly missed by his many friends.
