ICETON - Mary Josephine Mary (nee Snowden), died peacefully in her sleep in her 92nd year, within the warmth of her family's loving care, following a long illness. Born and bred in Elland, West Yorkshire, Mary married George and moved to Greta Bridge, near Barnard Castle before residing in Hartlepool for over forty years. Loving and beloved wife to George, devoted mother to Steven, Sylvia, Linda and Sheila, adoring grandma to Paul, Glen, Vicki, Kathleen, David, Alexander and Verity and proud great-grandma of Max, Harriet and Charlie. A compassionate matriarch enriched with patience and strength Mary dedicated her life to her family who will always love and remember her with heartfelt gratitude. Funeral service to be held at Holy Trinity Church, Seaton Carew on Thursday, February 21 at 3.00 p.m., followed by private cremation at Stranton Grange Crema-torium.
