Rose (nee Dailey), aged 50 years, dearly loved wife of Melvyn, a much loved mam of Jonathan, Lee and Samantha, very dear mother-in-law of Engracia and Michael, a devoted grandma of James, Ryan and Lewis and a dear sister, sister-in-law and aunt. Would friends please meet in the Independent Methodist Chapel, Half Moon Lane, Spennymoor on Thursday for a service at 10.15 a.m., followed by committal at Durham Crematorium.

Friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium on Monday, August 20 at 10.30 a.m.

Walter Pickup, aged 83 years, of Ripon (formerly of Well), beloved husband of June, much loved father of Ken and Philip, father-in-law of Chris and Julie, loving granddad of Sarah and Claire. Service and committal at St. John's Church, Ripon on Thursday, August 23 at 2.30 p.m. Cremation private. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the League of Friends of Ripon Hospitals. SCHOLEFIELD - Christina (Chris), of Barnard Castle, died suddenly but peacefully at home on August 8, aged 83 years. Beloved mum of Barrie, Mary, Christine and the late Linsay, a dear mother-in-law, also a devoted granny. SCORER - Kevin Scorer, BSc Hons Civil Engineering, died on August 5, 2007, aged 28, son of Mieke and Bob Scorer, brother of Enk and like a brother to Naomi. Kevin will be sadly missed by us all.
