Tom, aged 94 years, beloved husband of the late Hilda, a dearly loved father of Sheila and Margaret, father-in-law of Peter and Bob, a much loved grandfather of Bronwen, Steven, David and Kevin, great-grandfather of Holly and greatly missed by Natalie and Richard. Friends please meet for service at Ferryhill Methodist Church on Monday, September 4 at 11.15 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium at 12.00 noon.

SUNTER - (Causey) On August 24, 2006, in hospital after a long illness bravely borne, of Causey Bridge End Farm (formerly Bishop Auckland). Doctor James Peter Sunter (Home Office Pathologist), aged 58 years, dearly loved husband and best friend of Judy (nee Howlett), much loved dad of Aidan, Victoria and the late Andrew and Graham, father-in-law of Helen and Jeremy, devoted grandad of Benjamin and grandpa Jim of Zac and Millie, dear son of the late Percy and Vera Sunter. Cortege to meet on Wednesday, August 30 for funeral service and cremation at Mountsett Crematorium at 3.30 p.m. All welcome afterwards to The Black Horse, Red Row, Beamish. Family flowers only. Hannah, aged 92 years, of Newton Aycliffe (formerly of Seaham), beloved wife of the late Joseph Haswell and Jack Walker, much loved mother of Nancy, Betty, Doreen, Sarah, Sandra, Pat, Joseph, Christine and the late Linda, a dear mother-in-law, also a much loved nana, great-nana and great-great nana, also a beloved sister of Robert, Rose and Jenny. Funeral service to take place on Friday, September 1 at St. Clare's Church at 1.00 p.m., prior to interment at West Cemetery. Friends invited, please meet at the church. At rest.

Harold (Burma Star Veteran), aged 85 years, dearly loved husband of Maureen, a much loved dad of Peter, father-in-law of Lorraine and a devoted grandad of Erika. WRIGHT - Dorothy (Dot), died peacefully after a short illness on August 28. Will be sadly missed by her loving husband Brian and family. YOUNG - Robert Isaac, aged 62 years, of Aske Avenue, Richmond, died peacefully at the Friary Hospital on August 29, after an illness borne with great courage and dignity. Dearly loved husband of Marion, much loved dad of Catherine and Stephen, dear father-in-law to Brian and Anne and loving grandad of Christopher, Mark, Richard and Ben. Private interment, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Richmond Methodist Church on Monday, September 4 at 3.00 p.m. Friends please meet at the Church.
