Brian, aged 68 years, dearly loved husband of Margaret, loving father of Peter and Philip and father-in-law of Tracey, treasured grandad to Abbie and Lucy, also a dearly loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. Funeral Monday, July 31. Would friends please meet 1.45 p.m. for service at Darlington Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Jennie (nee Trowles), aged 88 years, beloved wife of the late Tot, devoted mam of Norma and David, dear mother-in-law to Neil and Sandra, much loved and loving nana and great-nan, treasured sister of Margaret and the late May, also a dear sister-in-law, aunt and dearest friend to Kathy. Will friends please meet for service in St. James' Church, Coundon at 10.30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26, followed by interment in Coundon Cemetery. After the service all are invited for refreshment in Tees Walk Centre.

BROWN - Mary Elizabeth (nee Simpson), aged 71 years, of South View Farm, Marwood, Barnard Castle, died peacefully at home on August 19, surrounded by her family and after an illness borne with great courage and dignity. Dearly loved wife of Cliff, much loved mam of Leslie, John, Diane and David, dearest mother-in-law to Lis, Margaret and Samantha, loving grandma of Thomas, Charlotte, Eleanor and George, very dear sister to Norman, a dear sister-in-law and a very special friend to many. Funeral service at St. Andrew's Church, Winston on Thursday, August 24 at 1.30 p.m., followed by private cremation. Friends please meet at the church. Ada, aged 98 years, devoted wife of the late Walter, beloved mother of the late Derek and Sheila, dear mother-in-law to Hazel, also a much loved granny.
