BATEMAN - Thomas William (Tom), of Eastfield Road, Pickering, peacefully at home on October 6, aged 73 years. Best friend and much loved husband of Jill, a loving dad of Jane, grandad of Jack, and father-in-law of Dave. Funeral service to take place at St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, Pickering on Friday, October 14 at 2.00 p.m., followed by interment in Pickering Cemetery. Jeannie, aged 79 years, beloved wife of the late George Edward, dearly loved mother of Philip, Hilda, Yvonne, Marlene, Colin, Michael and the late Heather, also a much loved mother-in-law, gran and great-gran. Funeral Monday. Friends please meet for service in the West Cemetery Chapel at 1.15 p.m., followed by cremation.

BOWNAS - Florence May (Florrie, nee Shout), aged 84 years, of The Terrace Care Home, Richmond, formerly of Whitby, died peacefully in hospital on October 6. Very dear sister of Daisy, Dougie and Fred and very much loved by all the family. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Friday, October 14 at 11.15 a.m. Friends please meet at the crematorium.
