ROBINSON December 4, of Willington, (formerly of Coundon). Stuart, aged 58 years. Dearly loved dad of Paula and Dean, also a loving grandfather, brother and uncle. Friends please meet for service at St. Stephen's Church, Willington on Friday December 9, at 10.00 a.m. followed by interment. All are welcome afterwards for refreshments at Belevedere, Bishop Auckland.

SHADBOLT On December 4, 2005. Peacefully in Southwoods Nursing Home, Northallerton. Ira, aged 84 years, dearly loved wife of the late Douglas. Funeral service and cremation to be held at West Cemetery, Darlington on Monday, December 12 at 10.15 a.m.

SLATER December 8, in hospital, of Frosterley. Margaret Robson SRN, aged 86 years, dearly loved by Morris, Marjorie and family and a dearest friend of Dick. Will friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium on Wednesday, December 14 at 11.00 a.m. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu for Weardale Child's Diabetic Pump and Frosterley Village Hall, plate in crematorium. All are invited for refreshments afterwards in the Mill Race.

SOAKELL (Haswell) November 29, peacefully in The Hawthorns Nursing Home, Peterlee, aged 93 years. Ellen (Nellie, nee Day), much loved wife of the late Wilson, a beloved mother of Alan, a loving mother-in-law of Marjorie, a cherished grandma of Peter and Wendy, also a great-grandma. Would friends and family kindly meet for funeral service at St. Paul's Church, Haswell on Wednesday, December 7 at 10.30 a.m., prior to cremation at Durham Crematorium at 11.30 a.m. All enquiries to Derek Moss Funeral Service. TAYLOR December 6 (peacefully in Howlish Hall), of Close House. Irene, aged 66 years, a much loved mam and devoted nana. Karen (nee Bailey), aged 35 years, loving wife of Neil, a darling daughter of Dennis and Ann, beloved sister of Paul and Wendy, aunty of Samantha, deeply missed by John and Joanne, loved and remembered by all the family. Will friends please meet for service in Wolsingham Parish Church on Monday, December 12 at 10.30 a.m., followed by interment. Friends If I could catch a rainbow, I would do it just for you and share with you its beauty on the days you're feeling blue. If I could build a mountain, you could call your very own, a place to find serenity, a place to be alone. If I could take your troubles I would toss them in the sea, but all these things I'm finding, are impossible for me. I cannot build a mountain or catch a rainbow fair, but let me do what I know best, a friend that's always there. Mam and Dad

John Henderson, aged 82 years, beloved husband of the late Joan, much loved long term partner to Kathy, loving father to David, Lesley and the late Peter, dearly loved father-in-law to Nigel and Iris, also a devoted grandad to Sara and Elizabeth. Funeral Tuesday, December 13. Would friends please meet 11.00 a.m. for service at St. Herbert's Church, Darlington, followed by cremation.

June aged 69 years, dearly beloved wife of the late Kenneth, loving mother of David and Sharon, mother-in-law of Mark and Sue and dearest grandma of Marie and Paul. Funeral service and cremation to take place at Darlington Crematorium on Thursday December 8 at 1.15 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations if wished may be given for the League of Friends at the Friarage Hospital.

TOWLER Died December 6, suddenly at home, in Bedale, formerly of Hackforth. Malcolm, aged 74 years, dear brother of Mary, Rita and the late Robert, a good friend of Joan, also a beloved uncle. Funeral service to be held at St. Gregory's Church, Bedale on Wednesday, December 14 at 11.00 a.m., followed by private cremation. Family flowers only. VASEY Elias (Ellis), aged 71 years, died December 2, 2005, after a long illness bravely borne. Loving father to Lyn and Neil, a dear granda, brother and dear friend to Muriel.
