WELSH November 29, of Dean Bank Grange, Ferryhill. Freda, aged 89 years (former District Nurse of Ferryhill and Chilton), beloved wife of Bob, devoted mam of Susan, dear sister of Phylis, Rita, Mavis and Sam and also a loving aunt. Would friends please meet for service at Ferryhill Methodist Chapel on Wednesday, December 7 at 2.15 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Donations for Chapel Funds may be left on the plate at the Chapel.

WILLIAMSON November 30 (at home surrounded by his family), of Local Avenue, Sherburn Hill. Cecil (Ces), aged 73 years, beloved husband of the late Sheila, devoted dad of John, Janet, Carol and Helen, a sadly missed father-in-law, a treasured granda and great-granda, also a dear brother. Would friends please meet for service at St Cuthbert's Church, Shadforth on Monday, December 5 at 1.00 p.m., prior to interment in Shadforth Cemetery.

WILSON John Raymond (Raymond), aged 71 years, of Rose Cottage, California, Bishop Auckland, formerly of Red House Farm, Langleydale, died suddenly on November 27. Dearly loved father of David, Peter and Richard and a dear father-in-law, loving grandad and great-grandad. Funeral service at Barnard Castle Methodist Church on Monday, December 5 at 2.00 p.m., followed by cremation at Darlington Crematorium. Friends please meet at the church. Family flowers only please, if desired, donations may be given on the plate provided in the church for the British Heart Foundation.

WILSON November 29, after a short illness. Doreen (nee Gilbey), aged 85 years, of Bishop Auckland. Devoted wife of Frank, beloved sister to Millie and Charlie, also a dear sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt. Will friends please meet for service in St. Helen's Church at 12.00 noon on Tuesday, December 6, followed by cremation at Durham.

WILSON November 30 (peacefully in hospital), of Luke Avenue, Cassop. Tom, aged 84 years, beloved husband of Molly (nee Inchiliffe), dearly loved father of Denis, dearest father-in-law of Norma, much loved uncle of David, Teresa, Alison and Dilwyn. Cortege leaving residence Wednesday at 2.35 p.m. Friends please meet at Cassop Methodist Church for service at 2.45 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only please. Donations, if so desired, to Chapel Funds. Bus provided. Sadly missed by all the families.

YOUNG November 26, of South Church Nursing Home, Bishop Auckland. Donald, aged 74 years, a dear brother and uncle. Cortege to leave from South Church Nursing Home at 9.00 a.m. for service at Durham Crematorium Chapel on Wednesday, December 7 at 9.30 a.m.

Leslie, aged 82 years, died peacefully in hospital, devoted husband of Mary, dearly loved dad to Leslie, Sandra, Dennis, David and Geoffrey, loving father-in-law, grandad and great-grandy. Friends please meet at St. Mary's Church, Coxhoe on Thursday, December 1 at 2.45 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium at 3.30 p.m.

AINSLEY December 7, peacefully in hospital, of Cypress Park, Esh Winning. Ian Victor, aged 72 years, dearly loved husband of Winifred, loving dad of Colvin, father-in-law of Andrea and a dear brother of Shirley and Audrey. Friends please meet for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium on Tuesday, December 13 at 10.30 a.m. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu for Cancer Research U.K. may be given after the service.

ALDERSON Marianne (nee Cowen), aged 50 years, of Brompton-on-Swale, formerly of Darlington and Middleham, died peacefully at the Friary Hospital, Richmond on December 6, after a terrible illness bravely fought. Dearly loved wife of Terry, loving mother of Robert, Marc and Hazel and dear sister to Veronica. Cremation private, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at St. Mary's Church, Bolton-on-Swale on Wednesday, December 14 at 12.00 noon. Friends please meet at the church. ALLAN Billy Aged 75 years. Last of Blackhall Mill generation. Much loved as 'Dool' by brother Norman, our beloved late father. Devoted husband to our late Elizabeth, goes to join his brother and sisters, reunited forever. Devout verger of St. Cuthbert's Darlington for many years, he always did the right thing with good humour and a cheeky smile. Much loved Mark, Debbie, David and Joy Allan.

ARMSTRONG December 3 (peacefully, at home), of Durham Road, Spennymoor. Joan, aged 69 years. Beloved wife of Raymond, dearly loved mam of Christine and Lorraine, devoted grandma of Ben and Alex and also a dear mother-in-law, sister, sister-in-law and aunt.
