Donations, if desired, may be given at the crematorium for the R.N.L.I.


LEE - January 6, of Bishop Auckland. June Marie (nee Pickering), aged 66 years, dearly beloved wife of Alan, much loved mam of Debra, Alan and David, dear grandma of Rebecca and Patricia, great-grandma of Ellie and Lily, also a dear sister. Will friends please meet for service in St. Wilfrid's R.C. Church, Bishop Auckland at 10.00 a.m. on Thursday, January 10, followed by interment in Bishop Auckland Town Cemetery. R.I.P.


LONSDALE - Hunstanworth On January 3, Lily, aged 86 years, dearly loved wife of the late Joseph Thomas, mam of David, Kathleen, Christine and Harry, mother-in-law and grandmother. Family and friends please meet at St. James' Church, Hunstanworth on Wednesday, January 9 at 10.30 a.m., prior to interment in churchyard. Donations gratefully received will be sent to Weardale Community Hospital.


LYCETT - (nee Dawson) January 5, peacefully in hospital, of Darlington. Patricia Margaret, aged 60 years, dearly loved wife of Peter, loving sister-in-law of Margaret dear auntie of Janette, Stuart and Colin, very dear friend of Sandra and Barry, aunty of Richard, sister-in-law of James and aunty of Samantha, Amy and Ben. Funeral Thursday, January 17. Friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 2.45 p.m. Flowers or donations if preferred for St. Teresa's Hospice may be sent c/o Seaton Leng and Son Ltd., Bondgate, Darlington DL3 7JR.


MACMASTER - January 7, (suddenly, in hospital), of Thompson Street West, Darlington. Grace, aged 85 years. Much loved wife to Ken, loving mam of Jean and Glen, dearly loved mother-in-law to Bob and Penny, also special friend to Pamela. Funeral Thursday January 17. Would friends please meet 11.15 a.m. for service at Darlington Crematorium.


MAGEE - January 2. Moyra (nee Pratt), aged 66 years, after a long illness borne with great courage and dignity, died at home, Abbots Green, Willing-ton, previously of Wingate and Fishburn, beloved wife of the late Michael, a very special mother of Elizabeth, loving mother-in-law of Noel and a devoted gran of Lynn. Would family and friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium on Thursday January 10 at 11.30 a.m. No flowers. Donations in lieu of flowers will be gratefully received to go towards Mr Manars Cancer Research at the Freeman Hospital. Collection plate provided at Durham Crematorium. Sadly missed by all R.I.P


MARTIN - January 5 (peacefully in her sleep), of Harrison Close Shildon. Doris (nee Walton), aged 89 years, beloved wife of the late John, loving mother and mother-in-law of Timothy and Linda, Julie and John, devoted and loving grandma of Stephen, Andrew, Mark, Jon, Charlotte and Emily and great-grandma of Lea and Logan, also a dear sister, sister-in-law and aunt. Will friends please meet for service and cremation at Darlington Crematorium on Tuesday January 15 at 10.15 a.m. All welcome to Harrison Close Community Centre for refreshments after the service.


McCORMICK - Newton Aycliffe January 2, peacefully in hospital. John (Jack) aged 75 years, much loved husband of 50 years to Bernadette, dearly loved dad of Kevin and Paul, dearest father-in-law of Helen, sadly missed by Paul's partner Martie, very special grandad to Anna, Lucy, Daniel and David and will be loved and missed by all who knew him. Requiem Mass to be held on Thursday, January 10, in St. Mary's R.C. Church, Newton Aycliffe 12.30 p.m. followed by interment in Chilton Cemetery. Would friends kindly meet at the church. Beloved wife of Fred, much loved mam of Larry, Dawn, Sue, Debbie, Marc and their partners, devoted nana to all her grandchildren and a dear sister of Lou and Peggy. Funeral Tuesday January 15. O'BRIEN - January 4. Gordon, aged 61 years, of Woodham, Newton Aycliffe, formerly of Sunderland and Durham County Ambulance Service, after a short illness borne with dignity, passed away peacefully. Loved and sadly missed by his children Michael and Katherine and granddaughter Charlotte, a dear brother of Mary, Maureen and Colin, also a dear brother-in-law and uncle. Funeral Tuesday, January 15. Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Northallerton on Monday, January 14 at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment. Family flowers only.
