Dearly beloved husband of the late Nancy, a much loved dad of Jacqueline and dear father-in-law of Paul, devoted grandad of Sarah and Mark, dear brother of Dinah and brother-in-law of Shirley, Billy, Alan, Florrie, Tot and Jack. Cortege to leave residence on Thursday for service at St. Francis' Church, Hutton Henry at 10.30 a.m., prior to interment at Station Town Cemetery. All friends are kindly invited, please meet at the church.

VALKS - January 17, in Guardian Care Centre, Bowburn, of St. Marys Terrace, Coxhoe. James (Jimmy), aged 73 years. Beloved brother of Frances, a dear cousin and friend to many. Rhoda, aged 87 years, beloved wife of the late Ivor, a much loved mother, nana, great-nana and mother-in-law, also a loving sister of Ethel. Dear husband of Mary, loving dad of Sharon Marie, Stephen and Philip, also a treasured father-in-law, grandpa and uncle. Funeral service will be held at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Clifton, York on Monday, January 22 at 10.45 a.m., followed by cremation. Family flowers only please.

WETHERILL - January 18, peacefully in Leeming Garth Nursing Home, of Brompton. Maurice, aged 84 years, dearly loved brother of Jean and the late Harry, Don and Milly, brother-in-law of Colin and Gladys, cousin of Les and a dear uncle of Andrew and Karen and will be greatly missed by all his family.
