Davis

Funeral services for Rufus E. Davis, 67, were held Friday, March 26, 2004, with Bro. David Jones and Bro. Orval Barger officiating at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Peebles Cemetery.
He was born February 7, 1937 in Austin, the son of Fred B. and Dovie Annielou Barnett Davis.
Mr. Davis died Tuesday, March 23, in M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Fred Davis Jr., James E. Davis and Carl Davis.
Survivors include his wife, Deloris Davis; daughters and son-in-law, Debra and Jimmy Ward and Diana and Gary Hunter, all of Livingston; granddaughters, Heather Lee and husband, Brandon, Courtney Ward and Jaime Doria; grandsons, Adam Hester and wife, Stacy, Clint Ward and wife, Leanna and Justin Hunter; great-granddaughters, Trista Hester and Dalanie Ward; great-grandsons, A.J. Hester, Justin Washburn and Loe Doria IV; one great-grandchild on the way; sister, Joyce Mayzell Nelson of Livingston; brothers, Jimmie Davis of Kerrville and Johnnie Ray Davis of Livingston; and numerous other relatives.
Pallbearers were Adam Hester, Clint Ward, Justin Hunter, Lynn Simpson, Daniel Denham, Ricky Nelson, Allen Nelson, Reggie Grimes, Brandon Lee and Stephen Puckett. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 20, 2004 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, for Waymon Oneal Rogers, 66, with Chaplain John Linton officiating.
He was born October 27, 1937 in Groveton, the son of Leon and Mary Pearl Cook Rogers, both of whom preceded him in death. Mr. Rogers died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at his residence in Trinity.
Survivors include his daughter, Sheryl White of Huntsville; sister, Tommie Ann Johnson of Lenexa, Kansas; aunt, Todie Cook Pruitt of Pennington; uncle, Earl Cook of Six Lakes Subdivision, Romayor; grandson, Waymon Stephens of Killeen; and former wife, Irene Rogers of Huntsville.

White

Richard Carl White, 77, of Livingston, died Thursday, March 25, 2004, at his residence . No services are announced at this time.
Mr. White was born on April 2, 1926 in Cambridgeport, Vermont, to parents Eugene and Lois Parker White. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Navy, and was a retired heavy equipment mechanic. He had been a Livingston resident for two years, moving from Pittsburg, New Hampshire. He was a member of and helped establish the Pittsburg Historical Society and was known for his love of fishing, snow mobiling, animals and traveling. Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Dona White of Livingston; daughter, Nancy L. White of Inverness, Florida; son, Donald C. White and wife, Sandra, of Alton, New Hampshire; three brothers, Warren and Ralph White of Peterborough, New Hampshire and Gerald White of Honeybrook, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Hazel Gilson of Eutawville, South Carolina and Ester Lent of Swanzey, New Hampshire; and one grandson, Eric White of Alton, New Hampshire.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2004, for Alice Faye Ard, 58, of Hull, at Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville with Rev. Buddy McDaniel officiating.
She was born May 5, 1945 to Jessie and Mary Magdeline Phillips Courtney. She was a homemaker and longtime resident of Hull. Mrs. Ard died Saturday, March 20, 2004 at her residence in Hull.
Survivors include her husband, James Ard of Hull; her son, Dennis Ard and wife, Misti, of Devers; three daughters, Wanda Patterson and husband, Abb of Devers, Joyce Vaclavik and husband, Michael, of Daisetta and Pamela Butter and husband, Jason, of Hull; brothers, T.J. Chapell of Jasper, J.W. Courtney and Leo 'Bo' Courtney, both of Doucette; sister, Mary Ling of Doucette; and eight grandchildren.

Arnold

Funeral services for Raymond Dillard Arnold, 86, were held Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at Cochran Funeral Home, with Pastor Victor Winkleman officiating.
He was born on November 28, 1917 in Alba, the son of Walter Murray Arnold and Delcia Davis Arnold, both of whom preceded him in death. Mr. Arnold was a member of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades since 1945 and the Civilian Conservation Corps from April 16, 1937 to March 31, 1938.
Mr. Arnold died Saturday, March 20, 2004, at his residence in Livingston.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Arnold; step-daughters and husbands, Carol and Allen Worley and Dottie and Rich Major, all of Onalaska; step-son and wife, Billy and Sally Buchanan of Alvin; daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and Thomas Rogers of Livingston, Sue and Ken Eells of Richmond, Virginia and Vicky and Ronnie Richerson of Humble; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Honorary pallbearers were Bud Miller, Thomas Rogers, Bill Buchanan, Rob Carek, Scott D'eron and Travis Buchanan.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 26, 2004, at Chesswood Baptist Church for William David "W.D." Clack, 88, of Shepherd, with the Rev. Frank Hood officiating, assisted by the Rev. Linn Dykes.
He was born August 26, 1915 in Gwenith County, Georgia, the son of William David Clack Sr. and Ella Williams Clack. He served in the U.S. Army Corps during World War II. He had been employed as a mailer for a Houston newspaper company.
Mr. Clack died Tuesday, March 23, 2004. He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola Clack, on October 20, 1993.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Edna and Leon Cutaia of Shepherd; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard Clack of Shepherd, Curtis and Linda Clack of Magnolia, Charles and Debbie Clack of Livingston, James and Linda Clack and Larry and Peggy Clack, all of Houston; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
His grandsons served as pallbearers.

Funeral services for Idania Aolani Fuller, 2, were held Monday, March 22, 2004, at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with Harold Isaacs officiating. Burial followed in Forest hill Cemetery.
She was born December 29, 2001 in Brunswick, Georgia, the daughter of Todd and Melissa Utley Fuller. Idania died Thursday, March 18, 2004, at her residence in Onalaska.
Survivors include her father, Todd Fuller of Onalaska; mother, Melissa Fuller of Onalaska; sister, Deryni Fuller of Onalaska; grandparents, Peggy and Greg Smith of Livingston, Russell and Joyce Utley of Davenport, Iowa and Ron and Pam Fuller of Kimberling City, Missouri; and great-grandparents, Lowell and Marc Fuller of Ottumwa, Iowa, Marion and Avis Dennis of Livingston, Faye Richerson of DeWitt, Louisiana and Virginia Utley of Davenport, Iowa.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 22, 2004, at Pace Funeral Home, for Noyd E. Fults, 70, of Goodrich, with the Rev. Dennis Maddox officiating. Interment followed in Peebles Cemetery.
Mr. Fults was born on June 15, 1933 in Goodrich, to parents Irrie W. and Annie Bell Bryce Fults, and he was a lifetime area resident. He was a retired auto mechanic and was known for his love of cooking.
Mr. Fults died Friday, March 19, 2003, in Lufkin. In addition to his parents, two brothers, Harmon and Sammie Fults, preceded him in death.
Survivors include three sisters, Nerrene Lehr and husband, Walter, of Pasadena, Verna Fults of Goodrich and Lora Kerr and husband, Leon, of Leggett; seven nieces, Donna Tomlinson and husband, Frank, Walterene Jones and husband, Steve, Teresa Maddox and husband, Dennis, Renee Hickman, Lisa Ferguson and husband, Raymond, Amy Dean and husband, Charlie, and Kim White and husband, Troy; six nephews, Ricky Fults and wife, Gwenoa, Timothy Fults, David Fults and wife, Sherrie, Mike Fults, Richard Fults and Shawn Fults; great-nieces, Samantha Simons and Jennifer and Shannon Tomlinson; great-nephews, Matthew Tomlinson and Lonnie and Kris Simons; and very great-great nieces and nephews, Shea and C.J. Harrington

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 25, 2004, at Goodrich United Methodist Church for Dale Harrington, 87, of Goodrich, with the Rev. Don Willis officiating. Interment followed in Brookside Cemetery in Houston.
He was born on April 6, 1916 in Izoro. He lived 60 years in the Houston area before retiring to Goodrich in 1977. He gave generously of his time through various volunteer efforts and was devoted to his family and his God.
Mr. Harrington died on Sunday, March 21, 2004, after a long illness.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy, of Goodrich; sons, Dale of Alexandria, Louisiana, Rex of Rockport and Jack of Austin; seven grandchildren; and brother, Marshall Harrington of Humble.
The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, a donation be sent in the name of 'Dale Harrington' to the Goodrich United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 609, Goodrich, Texas 77335.

Funeral services for Glenn Allen Kervin, 43, were held Monday, March 22, 2004, at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Randy Findley officiating. Burial followed in Menard Chapel Cemetery.
He was born November 3, 1960 in Houston, the son of J.W. and Avis Richey Kervin, both of whom preceded him in death.
Mr. Kervin died Thursday, March 18.
Survivors include his wife, B.J. Kervin; daughters, Chasity Kervin of Houston and Laura McVicar of Livingston; sons, Johnny Brittain of Livingston and Shawn Kervin of Houston; sisters, Donna Kendricks of San Antonio and Christi Allen of Livingston; brother, Tony Harris of Livingston; mother, Deborah Lowers of Livingston; grandson, Jeremy Kervin of Houston; and father and mother-in-law, Doyle and Louann Sapp of Oakwood.
