Funeral services were held Monday, February 5, 2004 for Bettye Ann Billingsley, 68, at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Lee Poe officiating. Burial was in Ringling Memorial Cemetery in Ringling, Oklahoma.
She was born September 19, 1935 in Ringling, Oklahoma, the daughter of Cecil and Maude Barnest Lockwood.
Mrs. Billingsley died Tuesday, February 3, 2004 in Kindred Houston Northwest in Houston. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, J.D. Lockwood and Joe Lockwood; and sister, Inez Lockwood.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, John Billingsley of Livingston; sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen W. and Woody Billingsley and Alan Scott and Tina Billingsley, all of Livingston; sisters, Mozelle Wilson of Prairie Grove, Arkansas and Mary L. Lockwood of Ringling, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Michelle Billingsley-Mexicano, Ashley Billingsley, Rebecca Billingsley, James Whitaker, T.J., Kristen and Alyssa Barnett and Domonique and Angelique Gibson; and great-grandchildren, Alex and Raymond Mexicano.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Livingston or the First Baptist Church of Ringling, Oklahoma.

Funeral services for Amber Renee Fuller, 7, of Livingston, were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2004, at Cochran Funeral Home, with Bro. Doyle Hodge and Bro. Johnny Hodge officiating. Burial followed in Feagin Cemetery.
She was born June 10, 1996 in Galveston, the daughter of Danny and Angela Grimes Fuller. She was in the second grade.
Amber died Wednesday, February 4, 2004, in Memorial Medical Center, Livingston, following an automobile accident.
Survivors include her father, Danny Fuller of Livingston; mother, Angela Grimes Fuller of Livingston; grandmothers, Sharon Attaway and Nell Heuer, both of Livingston; sisters, Amanda Fuller and Danielle Fuller, both of Livingston; uncles and aunts, Tom and Lisa Fuller of Jacksonville, Charles and Tony Fuller and Roy and Candice Grimes, all of Livingston; aunt and uncle, Katrina and Jamie Babbs of Livingston; cousins, Robert and James Grimes and Bradley and Bradie Babbs, all of Livingston; great-uncle, Richard Pool of Livingston; grandfather, Wesley Harwood of Livingston; aunt and uncle, Tammy and Mark Griffin of Palestine; cousin, Brittany Babbs of Livingston; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were James Bass, Wayne Bass, Tommy Warren, Robert Lee, Anthony Cornelius and Gerald Boone.
A trust fund has been established in Amber's name at First National Bank.

Goodson

Funeral services were held Friday, February 6, 2004, at Pace Funeral Home for Richard Goodson Jr., 56, of Shepherd, with Ed Lee officiating. Interment followed in Lovett Cemetery near Shepherd.
Mr. Goodson was born on April 15, 1947 in Pasadena, to parents Otis Richard and Margaret Lovett Goodson. Mr. Goodson was employed as a commercial painter and had been a Shepherd resident for 26 years, moving from Cleveland.
He died on Tuesday, February 3, 2004, at his residence. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Paulette "Polly" Goodson.
Survivors include his mother, Margaret Goodson of Shepherd; sons, Michael Goodson and wife, Brenda, and David Goodson, all of Shepherd; three grandchildren, Samantha Goodson, Michael Glenn Goodson and Tammy Thain; his best friend, Clayton Stepps and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Pallbearers were David Goodson, Butch Russell, David Brown, Jimmy Brown, Doug Rhoden and Bucky Thain.

Kent

Funeral services for Clifton Dale Kent, 71, of Livingston, were conducted Saturday, February 7, 2004 at Pace Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lee Poe officiating. Graveside services followed Saturday afternoon in South Park Cemetery in Pearland.
Mr. Kent was born on November 5, 1932 in Houston to parents Clifton Grey and Mamie Lou Phillips Kent. He served with the U.S. Army. He married Geraldine Patterson on April 27, 1957.
He passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2004, in Kingwood. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-son, Dale Eugene Slayton.
Survivors include his wife of almost 47 years, Geraldine Kent of Livingston; three sons, Ronald Dale Kent of Oceanside, California, Wayne Kent and Gerald Eugene Kent and wife, Brenda, all of Livingston; grandsons, Trey Traylor of Livingston and Toby Traylor of Belton; brothers-in-law, Daniel Patterson and wife, Wanda, of New Caney, and Nelson Patterson of Livingston; sisters-in-law, Ramona Swan and Mickey Kley and husband, Gary, all of Livingston; and many other friends and relatives.
Pallbearers were Toby Traylor, Trey Traylor, Ernest Martinez, Gary Warden, Anthony Colsby and Fred Benzing.

McDonald

Florette Mae McDonald, 70, died Thursday, February 5, 2004, in Memorial Medical Center in Livingston.
She was born September 8, 1933 in Atoka, Oklahoma, the daughter of Oscar and Jennie Housewright McDonald. She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar Orval McDonald; her mother, Jennie Bessie Housewright DeWitt; and brother, Richard W. DeWitt.
Survivors include her sons, Calvin Nichols and Don Wade Nichols; daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Glenn R. Allen; daughter, Debbie Lynn Oldham; brother, Joe Orrville DeWitt; sisters, Mary Lee Homes, Tiny Margaret Watson, Wanda Lou Burns and Frances Lee Clayton; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Alexander

Funeral services for Syble Lorene Alexander, 78, of Livingston, were held Saturday, January 31, 2004, from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Frank Hood officiating. Burial followed in Old Peebles Cemetery.
She was born March 1, 1925 in Polk County, the daughter of Tommy and Syble Loftin Lilly. She married Perry Alexander Sr. in Livingston on May 7, 1947. Along with her husband, she was a member of Baptist churches for over 50 years. At the time of her death, she was a member of Leggett Baptist Church.
Mrs. Alexander died Wednesday, January 28, in Woodland Heights Medical Center in Lufkin.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Perry Alexander Sr. of Livingston' sons and daughters-in-law, Perry and Vera Alexander Jr. and Larry Allen and Lisa Alexander, all of Livingston; brother, Van Lilly of Franklin; sister, Novel Dickens of Killeen; grandchildren, Perry Alexander III, Tammy Parker, Tracy Morgan, Nickie Cornelius, James Alexander, Christopher Russell and Elizabeth Jones; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Perry Alexander III, James Alexander, Kenneth Nettles, Felder Duboi and Bryan Hickman.

Amburn

Funeral services were held Monday, January 26, 2004 at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston for Thomas Sullivan Amburn, 72, of Cleveland, with Mr. Kris Emerson officiating. Interment followed in Peebles Cemetery.
Mr. Amburn was born April 9, 1931 in the New Willard community to parents Henry and Priscilla Merrill Amburn. He grew up in Livingston and had lived in Cleveland since 1963. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving with the U.S. Army Rangers. For over 30 years he was employed in the oil field business.
Mr. Amburn died Friday, January 23, 2004, in Houston.
Survivors include his son, Tommy Amburn of Livingston; two daughters, Karen Stephens of Tomball and Pam Ware and husband, Vernon, of Porter; brother, Richard Amburn of Port Arthur; four sisters, Mary Johnson and Bobbie Jean Mathis, both of Houston, Betty Joe Parks of LaPorte and Delores Dunlap of Tennessee; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Cynthia Ann Jones, 39, of Livingston, were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2004, at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston with Dr. Jim Godwin officiating.
Mrs. Jones, a mother and homemaker, was born June 8, 1964 in Houston, to parents J.C. and Jean Finley Roark. She had been a Livingston resident for over 15 years, moving from Houston.
She passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2004. In addition to her parents, a daughter, Jennie Maria Jones and a brother, James Roark, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her two sons, John Turner Jones III and Jerit Dale Wheaton, both of Livingston; a daughter, Janet Sue Jones of Livingston; brother, John M. Roark of Livingston; two sisters, Paula J. Wiggins and Sally C. Roark, both of Livingston; former mother and father-in-law, Janet Loden Jones and John Jones Sr.; and former husband, John Turner Jones Jr.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2004 for Ollie Porter, 99, at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating. Burial followed in Milum Cemetery in Harrison, Arkansas.
She was born September 23, 1904 in Neme, Louisiana, the daughter of James B. and Henrietta Milsted Warden.
Mrs. Porter died Tuesday, January 27, at her residence in Livingston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orby Porter; her parents; and son, James Porter.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John and Virginia Hare of Happy; daughter, Bertie Gray of Diamond City, Arkansas; daughter and son-in-law, Clara and Gilbert McCollum of Livingston; brother, Norman Warden of Kountze; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mark Randall Thomas, 45, of Livingston, were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 1, 2004 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska with the Rev. Don Wilkey officiating.
He was born March 19, 1958 in Houston, the son of Marcus Weldon Thomas and Nellie Rose Andrews Thomas.
Mr. Thomas died Monday, January 26, 2004 in Onalaska. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ellen Jane Thornton; and nephew, Danno Thornton.
Survivors include his daughter, Michelle Lynn Thomas of Onalaska; son, Michael Lee Thomas of Montgomery; sisters, Susan Dunaway of Longview and Diane Marie Schillaci of Houston; brother, Doug Mathews of Coldspring; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
