Graveside services for Angel Zuniga of Livingston were held Saturday, August 30, 2003, from Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, with Deacon Jose Vitela officiating.
Angel was born August 28, 2003 in Livingston. The infant died Thursday, August 28, in Memorial Medical Center, Livingston.
Survivors include his mother, Juana Guadelupe Zuniga of Livingston; grandmother, Dionista Carrizales of Mexico; grandfather and grandmother, Julio and Apolonia Zuniga of Mexico; uncles, Hugo Zuniga, Abraham Carrizales and Fernando Carrizales, all of Livingston; and aunts, Guadalupe Liebano and Aracely Olguin, both of Livingston.
Cochran Funeral Home, Livingston, was in charge of arrangements.

Arnold
Funeral services for Juanita Arnold, 83, of Dayton, were held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2003, at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton with the Rev. Jimmy Charles officiating. Burial followed in Ryan Cemetery in Tarkington Prairie,
A native and long-time resident of Dayton and the Simmons Bottom area, she was a retired owner-operator of Arnold Dairy and a member of Simmons Bottom Assembly of God Church.
Mrs. Arnold died Thursday, August 28, 2003, at the Golden Charm Nursing Home in Liberty. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elisha Winrow Sackett and Ester Bertha Griffin Sackett; sons, Melvin Arnold and Leon Arnold.
Survivors include her husband, Cecil Arnold of Dayton; sister, Maggie Pennington of  Texas; grandchildren, Lorrie and Roy Stubbs, Mike and Cindy Arnold, Danny and Rhonda Arnold and Melody Arnold; 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James Green, Patrick Green, Stanley Arnold, Harrace Moore, Nathan Stubbs and Jerry Sackett. Honorary pallbearers included Roy Stubbs, Mike Arnold, Dale Hargraves and Kevin Burnett.
Pace-Stancil Funeral home, Dayton, was in charge of arrangements.

Choate
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 27, 2003 for Dana Michelle Choate, 22, from the First Baptist Church in Shepherd, with Charles Thomas officiating. Burial followed in Farley Chapel Cemetery, Shepherd.
She was born December 8, 1980 in Norfolk, Virginia, the daughter of Duane and Terri Rogers Dearborn. Mrs. Choate died on Monday, August 25, 2003 in Memorial Health System of East  Texas in Lufkin. She was preceded in death by her mother.
Survivors include her husband, William Choate Jr. of Shepherd; son, William 'Trey" Choate III of Shepherd; father, Duane Dearborn of Chesapeake, Virginia; grandmother, Carolyn Richards of Shepherd; brother, Christopher Rogers of Shepherd; mother-in-law, Irene Choate of Shepherd; aunts and uncles, Gina and Mark Barker of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Michael Pippenger of Gatesville, Florida and Christy and Charles Chenault of Fort Hood; great aunt and uncle, Dian and Darrell Barrett of Shepherd; brothers-in-law, James Deaa Choate of Shepherd and John J. and wife, Linda Choate, of Gary; sister-in-law and husband, Robin and Donald Brewer of Deer Park and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers were the FM 1127 Community Volunteer Fire Department and San Jacinto Emergency Management Service.
Cochran Funeral Home, Livingston, was in charge of arrangements.

Maze
Funeral services for Hubert Lee Maze, 70, were held Monday, August 25, 2003, from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Mitchell Murphy and Shane Norcross officiating. Burial followed in Magnolia Hill Cemetery in Segno.
He was born September 17, 1932 in Polk County, the son of Eulis and Mamie Gentry Maze. He married Eva Gay Maze on march 28, 1956 in Livingston. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Maze was a member of First Baptist Church Providence in Livingston.
Mr. Maze died on Saturday, August 23, 2003 in Livingston. He was preceded in death by his father, Eulis Lee Maze; mother, Mamie Gentry Maze Helpingstill; and one brother, Thurman Maze.
Survivors include his wife, Eva Maze of Livingston; daughter and son-in-law, Verdina and Mitchell Murphy of Livingston; son and daughter-in-law, Denton and Regina Maze of Livingston; grandchildren, Christopher Murphy, Christine Murphy, Courtney Murphy, Casey Murphy, Cory Maze, Hunter Maze, Joshua Maze and Seth Allen Maze; brother, Herman Maze of Livingston; sister, Lois Chambliss of Baytown; sisters and brothers-in-law, Avis and Victor Cook of Baytown and Joyce and J.E. Murphy of Jasper; sister-in-law, Pauline Maze of Livingston; and mother-in-law, Helen Gay of Livingston.
Pallbearers were Gary Maze, James Hendrix, J.L. Maze, Christopher Murphy, Keith Jordan, Travis Browning, Bobby Blackburn and James C. Moore. Honorary pallbearers were Joe Nelson,  Texas Department of Transportation and the First Baptist Church Providence Adult Men's Sunday School Class.
Cochran Funeral Home, Livingston, was in charge of arrangements.

Odell
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2003, at First United Methodist Church of Liberty for Dorothy 'Janice' Odell, 80, of Liberty, with the Rev. Jerry  Johnson and Dr. Charles Green officiating. Burial followed in Cooke Cemetery in Liberty.
She was born August 6, 1923 in Liberty to O.P. Baillio and Wilda Calhoun. She was a lifelong resident of Liberty. She graduated from Liberty High School in 1940 and later from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville. She married Tom Odell in 1945.
Odell enjoyed golf and was six times the Women's Champion of Magnolia Ridge Country Club. She also enjoyed playing Bridge. She was an artist and past president of Women's Club. She also was a member of the We Care Program and a member of Friends of the Library.
Mrs. Odell died Friday morning, August 29, 2003 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas R. 'Tom' Odell; and her son-in-law, Peter Dickinson.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis R. Odell and his wife, Penny, of Liberty and Michael W. Odell and his wife, Karen, of Houston; one daughter, Patti Dickinson of Kingwood; grandchildren, Jason Dickinson, Michael T. Odell and his wife, Kasie, Thomas Odell, Julie Dickinson, Amber Odell, Heather Odell; nephews, Craig Mearns, David Mearns, and Prentice Mearns; and many other relatives and friends.
Allison Funeral Service, Liberty, was in charge of arrangements.

Richardson
Funeral services were held at Pace Funeral Home for Celvester Bryant "C.B." Richardson, 82, with the Rev. Frank E. Hood officiating on Wednesday, August 27, 2003. Interment followed in Holly Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Richardson was born on December 30, 1920 in the Holly Grove community to parents, Charles and Della Gay Richardson. He was a 1941 graduate of Livingston High School. He retired from Texaco after 29 years. He married his wife, Ruby, on April 1, 2003 in Caldwell, where he had been living since 1984 and where he was a member of Providence Baptist Church. He returned to Livingston this past February.
Mr. Richardson died Sunday, August 24, 2003 in Livingston. A daughter, Pauline Bordelon, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby, of Livingston; a sister, Edna McMillan of Livingston; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Pallbearers were James McIntyre, T.H. Bailey, L.V. Bailey, David Brackin, Wiborn Richardso and Frank McMillan. Honorary pallbearer was Lewis Gay.
Pace Funeral Home, Livingston, was in charge of arrangements.

Wolf
Funeral services for Geneva Wolf, 88, were held Monday, August 25, 2003, from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, Onalaska, with Pastor Jonathan Fitzgerald officiating. Burial followed in Woodlawn Garden of Memories in Houston.
She was born October 18, 1914 in Idabel,  Oklahoma, the daughter of Purdom A. and Floyce Livingston Morris. Mrs. Wolf died Friday, August 22, 2003, in Memorial Health Systems of East  Texas in Lufkin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vester Wolf; parents; and three brothers, Purdom Morris, Edmond Morris and Carl Morris.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Deborah Wolf of New Caney; daughter, Martha  Jackson of Onalaska; sister, Francis Dorries of Blossom; daughter-in-law, Deborah Wolf; grandchildren, Douglas Wolf, Bradley Wolf and Wendy Blanco; nine great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Maggie Smallwood; and brother-in-law, Jess Smallwood.
Cochran Funeral Home, Onalaska, was in charge of arrangements.

Wright
Funeral services were held Thursday, August 28, 2003 from the First United Methodist Church in Livingston for Bobbie Eunice Wright, 83, of Livingston, with Dr. Tom Kennedy, the Rev. James Frazier and the Rev. Mary Shivers officiating. Burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery.
She was born July 27, 1920 in Bewton, Alabama, the daughter of Lewis and Rose Lee  Johnson Baggett. She married Wiley D. Wright on June 12, 1981 in Houston. Mrs. Wright was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Livingston.
Mrs. Wright died Monday, August 25, in Methodist Hospital in Houston. She was preceded in death by her parents; great-grandson, Corey Foster; and brothers, Charlie Baggett, Ned Baggett and Luke Baggett.
Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Wiley D. Wright of Livingston; daughter and son-in-law, Era and Cary McLemore of Houston; sons and daughters-in-law, Warren and Lillian Foster of Mobile, Alabama and Clarence and Ima Dale Foster of Houston; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Beth and Eddie Crow of Big Spring; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; brother, John Baggett of Massachusetts; and sisters, Hazel Kamanides of Massachusetts and Mary Salamie of Maine.
Pallbearers were Adam Bryant, Donald Usher, James McLemore Jr., William McLemore, Wayne Friedly and Steven Foster. Honorary pallbearers were Eddie D. Cross and Ernie Provasek.
Cochran Funeral Home, Livingston, was in charge of arrangements.

Baggett
Funeral services for Willie Mae Baggett, 62, were held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 17, 2003, from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Robert Brown and Darrell McAdams officiating. Burial followed in Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd.
She was born November 28, 1940 in Shepherd, the daughter of John Wade Caldwell and Willie Dessie Stephens Caldwell, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Billy Baggett on October 27, 1957 in Shepherd.
Mrs. Baggett died Monday, October 13, at her residence in Shepherd.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Billy Jack Baggett of Shepherd; sons, Billy Dan Baggett of Gilchrist, Jerry Baggett and wife, Doren, of San Antonio and Jimmy Baggett of Houston; daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie and John Stuckey of Vidor and Debbie and Mark Stewart of Humble; brother, J.W. Caldwell of Shepherd; granddaughters, Sarah Baggett, Rachel Baggett and Rebecca Baggett, all of San Antonio; grandson, Jaden Stewart of Humble; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Jerry Bailey, Christopher Dickey, J.T. Reid, Markus Price, James Caldwell and W.L. Brock.
Cochran Funeral Home, Livingston, was in charge of arrangements.

Cornett
Funeral services were held Thursday, October 16, 2003, from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel for Elizabeth Ann Cornett, 69, of Goodrich, with the Rev. Don Billman officiating. Burial followed in Willis Cemetery in Willis.
She was born November 13, 1933 in Clarksville, the daughter of Jack Lee Wardlow and Kathleen Sullivan .Wardlow. She married Gerald Cornett on December 27, 1950 in Silver Lake. Mrs. Cornett was a member of Schwab City Baptist Church.
Mrs. Cornett died Monday, October 13, in Methodist Hospital in Houston. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Jerry Cornett.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Gerald Cornett of Goodrich; daughter, Karen Cornett of Pasadena; son, Dan Cornett of Houston; and sister, Bobbie Brown of Atlanta.
Cochran Funeral Home, Livingston, was in charge of arrangements.

Davis
Funeral services for Phyllis Elizabeth Davis, 69, of Livingston, were held Tuesday, October 14, 2003, from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Royce Pennington officiating. Burial followed in Pine Grove Cemetery in the Pine Grove community.
She was born October 5, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of John W. and Delcie E. Tanner Stirling. She married Leonard Davis on February 9, 1963 in Pasadena.
Mrs. Davis died on Saturday, October 11, 2003, in Conroe Regional Medical Center in Conroe. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Walter Debock; sister, Violet Stirling Barnes; and grandson, Stephen Ferguson.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Leonard Ray Davis of Livingston; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Ferguson and James Ferguson of Corrigan; son and daughter-in-law, John Charles 'Jack' Davis and Celia Davis of Livingston; granddaughter, Loraine Elizabeth Roberts of Corrigan; great-granddaughter, Kylie Elizabeth Hight of Corrigan; and grandsons, Joshua William Barnette of Corrigan, Jason Ferguson of Livingston and Matthew Ferguson of Corrigan.
Pallbearers were Millard Pettit, Donnie Smith, Greg Smith, Ron Wilkins, Kevin Hight and James Ferguson. Honorary pallbearers were Emil Hancock, Kenny Lockhart, Eric Long and John 'Jack' Davis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gideons or American Cancer Society.
