Essie Mae Murphy
Bonham-Graveside services for Essie Mae Murphy, age 85, will be at 2p.m. Saturday at Forest Grove Cemetery in Telephone, TX. with Bro. Jeff Davis officiating. She died Thursday, July 15, 2004, at her residence.
Born March 29, 1919 to Alonzo L. & Ozie Beezley Kelton in Arkansas. Essie was the last of 13 brothers and sisters. She lived most of her life in San Fransisco, Ca. where she married Wiley Murphy in 1946.
Survived by nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, parents, and brothers & sisters.

Bonham, TX. - Graveside services for Richard `Dickie` Marcellous, age 64, of Bonham passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2004, will be held at Willow Wild Cemetery, Bonham, at 11 a.m., Saturday August 21, 2004. Rev. Bill Beasley will officiate.
Dickie was born on November 6, 1939 to Donald & Clara Carr Julian.
He was a school teacher and taught in Paris, Arlington and Carrolton public schools.
Survivors are brother Donnie Julian of Ft. Worth, TX.; cousins Julie Braddock of Atlanta, TX. & Tony Julian of Houston, TX.
Family will receive friends from 7-8pm Friday August 20, 2004 at the Funeral Home.

Jimmie McKelva
BONHAM -- Funeral services for Mr. Jimmie D. McKelva will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2004 at Cooper-Sorrells Chapel in Bonham. Officiating will be Brother Lyn Holly, interment will follow in Forest Grove Cemetery in Telephone. Mr. McKelva passed away Saturday morning at his residence. He was born on December 5, 1932 in Telephone, Texas the son of the late James Hamlett and Ethel Herald McEwen McKelva.
He was married to Betty Dorris Marcom McKelca, she preceded him in death on March 5, 1995, then he later married Ruth Farley McKelva on March 7, 1996 in Bonham. Mr. McKelva was retired from Campbell Soup Company in Paris after his retirement he owned and operated a small engine repair shop. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and received the Purple Heart, and was a member of the Boyd Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth McKelva of Bonham; daughter, Phyllis Berger and husband, Don of Sherman; sons, Alan McKelva and wife, Mary Yetta of Gunter and Chris McKelva and wife, Janet of Ravenna; grandchildren, Cody Berger and wife, Julie, Jamie Morris and husband, Grant, Reese McKelva, Michael McKelva, Colby McKelva and Karli McKelva; one great-grandson, Micah Berger; step-daughter, Glenda Hackney and husband, John of Trenton; brothers, Tommie McKelva of Atoka, TN and Bill McKelva of Denton; sister, Amateen Clock of Grand Junction, CO.
Pallbearers will be Alan McKelva, Chris McKelva, Don Berger, Cody Berger, Reese McKelva, Grant Morris, Michael McKelva, and Colby McKelva.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday night at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.
Juan G. Martinez
Bonham - Services for Mr. Juan G. Martinez, age 58, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 17, 2004 at Cooper-Sorrells Chapel in Bonham. Officiating will be Bro. Grady Sanders. Cremation rites will follow.
Mr. Martinez passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2004 in Texoma Medical Center in Denison. He was born on July 27, 1946 in San Benito, TX., the son of the late Matias and Julie Gonzales Martinez. Mr. Martinez was married to Jaramillo Maria Alicia Martinez on February 24, 1967 in San Benito, Texas.
He retired from the Sam Rayburn Memorial VA in Bonham. Some of his favorite things were football, watching the news, bar-b-quing, and his family. Mr. Martinez taught his family that through life you learn how to live, love, and care for your family. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War, he worked for other veterans at the Bonham VA.. Through all his life he cared for all he met, and all who knew him will miss him. He always said, "Don't cry that I died, celebrate that I live".
He is survived by his wife - Alicia J. Martinez. Children - Daughter - Benigna Martinez Hernadez & husband Rafeal; Son - Juan Angel Martinez & wife Lorie M. Sanders; Daughter - Gabriela Jaramillo Martinez Esparoza & husband Joe Esparoza; Daughter - Veronica J. Martinez; Daughter - Yesenia J. Martinez & husband Jerry Green; and Daughter - Shelia Gee & husband Daniel Gee. Grandchildren - Ala Marie Bray, Andrea Del Carmen Bray, Alexander Rafeal Hernadez, Cassandra M. John, Anthony R. John, Asheley Esparoza, Zackary Esparoza, Asha Dawn Bledsoe, Christina Ann Green, Cora Ray Green, Jerry Marvin Martinez, Juan Daniel Green, Cynthia Yesenia Green, Heaven Lee Gee, and Haley Lynn Gee. Sisters - Maria Luisa Martinez, Maria Lupita Molina, Julia Martinez and Daniel Martinez.

Veston Mulder
Bonham - Funeral services for Mr. Veston Mulder, age 90, of Bonham will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 10, 2005 at Cooper-Sorrells Chapel in Bonham. Interment will follow in Duplex Cemetery, officiating will be Bro. Rick Schultz. Mr. Mulder passed away Monday, February 7, 2005 in Northeast Medical Center in Bonham. He was born on June 6, 1914 in Blue Ridge, TX., the son of the late Harvey Carol and Cora Ethel McDonald Mulder. Mr. Mulder was married to Edna George Mulder on February 8, 1941 in Blue Ridge, she preceded him in death.
He was a Carpenter and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Mulder was a devoted hunter and fisherman. He was past member of Fannin County Hunter's Association and loved bowling.
Surviving are his 2 Sons - David Mulder of Bonham and Jack Mulder & wife JoAnn of Bonham. 4-Grandchildren - Kathy Mulder of Bonham; Rhonda Howery of Ft. Worth; Stephanie Hobbs of South Texas and Vickie Raines of Gainesville. 7-Great Grandchildren Nieces and Nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by Son - Cliffford Mulder, Daughter - Janice Mulder, Brother - D.A. Mulder and Sister - Ruby Mulder.
Pallbearers will be Roosevelt Ross, Mike Bankston, Donald Nolan, Chuck Crossland, Kent Hall and Kelly Titsworth. Honorary Pallbearers will be Special Friend Jeff Kennedy and Texas Department of Transportation Employees. J.B. Magness
Sherman - Graveside services for Mr. J.B. Magness, age 75, will be held at 1:00PM Monday, March 14, 2005 at Forest Grove Cemetery in Telephone. Officiating will be Bro. L.D. Scally. Mr. Magness passed away Saturday, March 12, 2005 at Wilson N, Jones Hospital in Sherman.
He was born on October 25, 1929, the son of the late Wilshire Harp and Winnie Demint Magness. He was a member of the Loving Baptist Church in Sherman, and retired from Texas Instruments.
He is survived by several Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sisters - Ivon Copeland, Leta Moore, Eunice Hopson, Neta Standifer, Marie McCraw, Irene Hopson and Lucille Magness. Brothers - Euless Hopson, Birl Magness, Raymond Magness, Travis Magness and A.B. Magness. Funeral arrangement are under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.
Mary Sue Moore
Telephone- Graveside services for Mary Sue Moore, age 62, will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham. Officiating will be Chaplain Kenneth Linden. Mrs. Moore passed away Sunday, March 6, 2005 in Fairview Nursing Home in Bonham. She was born on November 25, 1942 in Cartwright, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Sullivan and Grace Truman Garner Crunk. Mrs. Moore was married to Sammy Charles Moore in Bonham, he passed away in 1991. She was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by Daughter - Tammy Miller of Bonham. Sons - Bill Parker and Robert Spriggs both of Telephone. Brother - Joel Crunk of Josephine, TX.. 7-Grandchildren and 1-Great Grandchild. Several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by Brothers - Lonnie Crunk and Robin Crunk.

T. R. Melton
T. R. (Jim) Melton passed away April 20, 2005. He was born in Greenville, Texas on August 7, 1915. His parents were Marcus and Katherine Melton. He was a graduate of North Dallas High School and attended Texas A&M University. He retired from Wyeth after thirty-four years as Division Sales Manager. He was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Order of the Arrow. After he retired he moved to his ranch in Bonham, TX., where he was a member of the First Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his first wife Elizabeth, he is survived by his wife Opal and his sons Dr. James R. Melton and wife Janet of El Paso, William R. Melton and wife Paige of Carrollton, and daughter Judy Fogarty and husband Tim of Denton; grandchildren Melissa Melton Boedeker, Will Melton, Caroline Melton, Tyler Tamplin, Luke Fogarty, and Matt Fogarty; & three great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at Restland Memorial Gardens in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, April 23, at 2:00pm. Bro Bill Beasley will officiate.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Bonham, Tx. or the Bonham Public Library.
Jack M. McClung
Bonham - Jack M. McClung, age 89, of Bonham, passed away Friday, August 12, 2005 at Leonard Manor Nursing Home in Leonard, TX. Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 13, 2005 at Cooper-Sorrells Chapel in Bonham. Interment will follow in Arledge Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. McClung passed away Friday, August 12, 2005 at Leonard Manor Nursing Home in Leonard, Texas. He was born on September 23, 1915 in Bonham, Texas the son of the late Sam & Gladys Stapleton McClung. Mr. McClung married Ruby Haney on March 23, 1979 in Bonham. His worked as maintenance with an Oil Field Service in California. He also served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by stepson Gene Haney of Leonard, TX.; stepson Randy Haney of Granfield, OK.; step daughter Karen Chaffin of Bonham, TX.; & 6 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Ruby & one sister Billie McClung.
The family will receive friends Saturday, August 13, 2005 2:00 PM until service time at the Funeral Home.
Emma Jewel Victory McBroom
Emma Jewel Victory McBroom, age 96, of Arlington, TX. formally of Bonham, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2005 at Dalworth Nursing Center in Arlington, TX. Church services will be held at 2pin Monday, October 24, 2005 at First Baptist Church in Bonham. Rev. Bill Beasley will officiate. Burial will be in Arledge Ridge Cemetery.
Emma was born December 28,1908 to William Buford & Eliza Ivey Victory near Wolf City, TX in Fannin County.
Emma lived on a farm outside Bailey and raised 5 children. She moved to Denver and become a nurse at age 50 and retired from nursing at age 70. She moved to Bonham and lived there until 1994. Emma was very active in her church, Women's Club and helped found the Red River Art Association. After 1994 she moved to the Villa Residential Care Center in Arlington.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her family.
She is survived by her children Frances Owens of Grand Prairie, TX., Martha Jewel Gomez of Grand Prairie, TX., Kay Wise of Seattle, WA.; son in laws Bob Wise & Pete Gomez; daughter in law Donna McBroom of Loveland, Co.; grandchildren Andy Wise, Lisa Wise Champion, Paul Gomez, Kayla Gomez Krug, Wayne Owens, Bruz Owens, Carrie Jacobson, Cassie Fish, Amy McBroom, Michael McBroom, Daniel McBroom, John McBroom, Ricky Lee McBroom and Teresa McBroom. She had 24 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service Monday October 24, 2005 at the Funeral Home.
Joe Bryan Meade
Joe Bryan Meade, 57, of Honey Grove, Texas, a home builder and businessman passed away Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006 at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Services are scheduled at Cooper- Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Honey Grove, TX Saturday Feb. 4th, 2006 at 1:00 PM, family request no visitation. Burial at Allens Chapel Cemetery. Joe was born Sept, 22, 1948 in Paris Texas. He grew up and went to school in Sherman, Texps where he was an All Star runningback for his high school football team and went on to play football for TCU and Austin College with full scholarships. Joe was a member of Forest Hill United Methodist Church where he celebrated a deep faith. Joe enjoyed gathering with his family and friends for cookouts and barbecues where he was always the life of the party, quick with a joke and a few card tricks. Joe was a loving father, husband, brother and son.
Joe Meade was preceded in death by his father, John W. Meade: (Stubby), his brother, John S, Meade and son, Casey Like. He is survived by his mother Reba, W. Meade and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
