He was born April 28, 1916, in Cleburne, to the late Pearce and Vida Massey Gee. He was a 1935 graduate of Yoakum high School. He served in the U.S. Army, 111th ordinance during World War II and served in the European Theater of Operations. He graduated from Texas Chiropractic School in 1950 and began practice in Yoakum. He was a member of Texas Chiropractic College Alumni Association, American Chiropractic Association, Texas State Chiropractic Association, District 12 Chiropractic Association and Parker Research Foundation. He was a member of Masonic Lodge, Order of Eastern Star, American Legion and First United Methodist Church.

NURSERY -- Lenora M. Roell, 87, of Nursery, died Friday, June 9, 2000.
She was born Oct. 27, 1912, in Meyersville, to the late Louis and Agatha Luder Pieper. She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Mission Valley. She was a member of Ladies Aid at Zion Lutheran Church, Independent Cattleman's Association, a former member of the Home Demonstration Club and a former 4-H Leader for many years.
Survivors: daughters, Gloria A. Nitschmann of Victoria, Iris L. Heller of Nursery; sister, Irma Nell Schustereit of Victoria; brothers, Edmund Pieper of Victoria, Roland Pieper of Cuero; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: parents; husband, Willard V. Roell and daughter, Erleen A. Roell.
Family visitation was 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Colonial Funeral Home on Red River.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Zion Lutheran Church in Mission Valley, the Rev. Paul Muehlbrad officiating.

He was born Jan. 11, 1963, in Gonzales, to Arnold Wayne and Shirley O'Neal Pouncey, both of Wrightsboro.
He was a grocer in Smiley and a Baptist.
Survivors: parents; son, Aris O'Neal Pouncey of Nixon; grandmothers, Adele Pouncey of Wrightsboro and Ava O'Neal of Seguin.
Preceded in death by: brother, Joey Wayne Pouncey and grandfathers, Jess Pouncey and Clebern O'Neal.
Visitation was held 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon.
