Granado
Dora Barrera Granado, 91, died Monday, March 21, 2005, at Christus Spohn Hospital Beeville.
She was born in Berclair on Jan. 15, 1914, to Trinidad Sr. and Leonor (De La Garza) Barrera. She was married to Manuel Granado, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Elvira B. Garza and Angelica B. Frazer.
Mrs. Granado was a member of the Catholic church.
Survivors include her sons, Emilio (Lydia) Granado of Victoria and Reynaldo (Hilda) Granado of Corpus Christi; her brothers, Trino Barrera Jr. of Port Lavaca, Rosendo and Frank Barrera, both of California, and Ernesto Barrera of Florida; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Rosary was recited Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was celebrated today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Father Luke officiating. Burial followed in Our Lady of Victory Cemetery No. 2.
Pallbearers were Joe Falcon Jr., Joe Falcon III, Ferman Garza, Michael Ray Granado, Emilio Granado Jr. and Nehemiah Granado.
Treviño
Hall
Roy A. Hall Sr., 81, died Monday, March 21, 2005, at his residence in Aransas Pass.
A former Skidmore resident, he was born Aug. 18, 1923, in Wichita, Kan., to William Leslie Hall and Carrie Olive Coiner Hall. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. He was a retired control room operator for Reynolds Metals Company and was involved in the organization of the Steel Worker’s Union. He served as a campaign manager for Sen. Carlos Truan and was active in the Democratic Party headquarters. He also was a civil rights organizer and was a member of the United Farm Worker’s of America.
Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Aurora P. Hall, brother, Leslie M. Hall, son, Francis Andrew Hall, and daughters, Rachel Arline Hall and Beverly Ann Hall.
Survivors include three sons, Roy A. Hall Jr. of Skidmore, John J. Hall Sr. of Houston and Richard A. Tijerina of Peak, Ala.; five daughters, Aurora T. Silva of Kempner, Geretta Rosales and Rosetta Allen, both of Aransas Pass, Cris T. Lopez of Ricardo and Janie H. Redden of Aransas Pass; 25 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Aransas Pass.
Arrangements were handled through Charlie Marshall Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass.
Pendergraph
John Parker Pendergraph, 63, died Friday, March 18, 2005, at Christus Spohn Hospital Beeville after a sudden illness.
He was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., on Feb. 2, 1942, to Laymond and Mildred (Jenkins) Pendergraph. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years and retired from the Beeville Independent School District after 13 years of service.
Mr. Pendergraph is survived by his wife of 43 years, Terry R. Pendergraph of Beeville; four daughters, Belinda (Albert) Diaz of Ganado, Suzanne Pendergraph, Marie (Gilbert) Herrera and Joan (John) Martinez, all of Beeville; two brothers, Charles (Ginger) Pendergraph of Apison, Tenn., and Darrell (Jennifer) Pendergraph of Birchwood, Tenn.; two sisters, Linda (Roy) Baker of Soddy Daisy, Tenn., and Dorothy Byrd of Virginia; and 10 grandchildren.
A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at Treviño Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Burial with military honors followed in Beeville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers were Parker Pendergraph, John Louis Herrera, John Henry Martinez, Gilbert Herrera, Albert Diaz and Michael Rodriguez.

Ploch
Katie Wojtasczyk Ploch, 81, died Monday, March 21, 2005.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1 to 7:30 p.m. at Galloway and Sons chapel in George West with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. George Catholic Church in George West with Father Joseph Olikkara officiating. Burial will follow in St. George Catholic Cemetery.
Mrs. Ploch was born in Runge on Aug. 29, 1923, to Leopold and Julia (Pawlik) Wojtasczyk. She was married to Alvin Anton Ploch, who preceded her in death, along with her parents.
A resident of George West, she was a member of St. George and employed as a convenience store clerk.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Ann Ploch of George West and Patty and husband West Ward of Ingram; three grandchildren, Dustin Barnes, Jason Barnes and Lori Ward Fisher; a great-granddaughter, Patricia Renee Fisher; a sister, Helen Doege of LaVernia; and a brother, S.W. Wojtasczyk of Houston.

Santos Gomez Reyes, 64, died Saturday, March 19, 2005, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Reyes was born on July 11, 1940, in Beeville.
Survivors include her daughter, Nora Reyes Tamez of Beeville; three sons, Abel (Becky) Gomez and Guadalupe G. Reyes, both of Beeville, and Joe (Rosa) Gomez of Seguin; two brothers, Jesus (Maria) and Martin Gomez, both of Beeville; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Reyes was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Reyes, a brother, Pedro Gomez, and a great-grandson, Marcus Alexander Dominguez.

Andrade
Gloria Ramirez Andrade, 62, of Azle, died Friday, April 8, 2005, at a Fort Worth hospital.
Funeral was held Sunday, April 9, at Eagle Mountain Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Mrs. Andrade was born on July 29, 1942, in Beeville to Cruz and Delfina Ramirez. Her parents preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Andrade Jr.; her children, Eddie Andrade, Joe Andrade III, Debbie Rosales, Gloria Andrade and Cindy Talbot; 15 grandchildren; her brother, Cruz Ramirez Jr.; sisters, Olga Andrada, Elma Garza and Rachel Schilling; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bonham
Donald Wesley Bonham Jr., 38, died Sunday, April 17, 2005.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited Friday at 7 p.m. at the same location. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Victory Cemetery No. 2.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Borrego, David Flores, Donald Earnest, Ruben Flores, Ramiro Rodriguez and George Cano.
Mr. Bonham was born in Beeville on Aug. 15, 1966, to Donald Wesley Sr. and Maria (Martinez) Bonham. He resided in Beeville and was a self-employed carpenter. He also worked for Cano Construction and was a member of OLV.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Gage Salazar, his grandfather, Prescilano Martinez, an aunt, Olivia Borrego, and two uncles, Lupe and Ricardo Martinez.
Survivors include his mother, Maria M. Bonham of Beeville; his father, Donald Wesley Bonham Sr. of Phoenix, Ariz.; his maternal grandmother, Maria Ruiz Martinez; his brother, Rodney Lee Bonham; his daughters, Darlin Rae Nichols, Amanda Marie Salazar and Maranda Marie Barcenas, all of Beeville; his nephew, Dominic Andrew Bonham of Houston; five grandchildren, December and Abigail Nichols, Jasmine and Jaelynn Barcenas and Haley Salazar; his aunts, Celia Gutierrez and husband Emilio, Rosa Muñoz and husband Ramon, Dora Garza and husband Theodoro and Leonora Gonzalez, all of Beeville, and Hope Ashton and husband Robert of Louiseville; and an uncle, Adan Martinez of Beeville.

Dobson
Frances H. Dobson, 80, of Pettus died Monday, April 18, 2005.
She was born in Bee County on Nov. 29, 1924. She was a cafeteria cook for the Pettus school district.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. at the residence of Mrs. Dobson’s daughter, Kay Milton, on FM 1351 in Goliad.
Mrs. Dobson was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Dobson, her parents, Charles John and Alma Louise (Schroeder) Meuth, her two sisters, her two brothers and a grandson.
Survivors include her daughters, Kay Milton of Goliad and Beverly Formolo of Smiley; her sons, Bill Dobson of Nordheim, Ron Dobson of Salisbury, N.C., Mike Dobson of McAllen, Pete Dobson of Mineral and Roy Dobson of Friendswood; 20 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Elizabeth G. Hernandez, 35, died Saturday, April 16, 2005, at her home in Skidmore.
Rosary was recited Monday at 7 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home chapel. Funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday at St. James Catholic Church with Father Balaswamy Pasala officiating. Burial followed in Skidmore’s Evergreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Robert Guartuche, Ruben Perez, Martin Perez, Billy Perez, Manuel Hernandez and Edward Guartuche.
Mrs. Hernandez was born in Corpus Christi on Jan. 18, 1970, to Edward Sr. and Olga (Molina) Guartuche. She was employed as a house keeper at Spring Season Nursing Home in Beeville.
Survivors include her husband, Narciso Hernandez Jr.; her parents, Edward Sr. and Olga (Molina) Guartuche; her daughters, Roxanne Marie Guartuche and Amy G. Hernandez; her sons, Robert Lee Guartuche, Narciso Hernandez III, Sebastian and Alexander Hernandez, all of Skidmore; her sisters, Graciela (Domingo) Garza and Viola Guartuche, both of Skidmore and Gloria M. Guartuche of Corpus Christi; her brothers, Edward (Teresa) Guartuche Jr. and Jose Guadalupe (Jacqueline) Guartuche, both of Beeville; and her maternal grandmother, Maria Molina of Corpus Christi.

Mrs. Moreman
Marjorie (Nanny) Moreman passed away in a Corpus Christi hospital in the early morning on Tuesday, May 16. She was born December 29, 1916 in Temple, Texas. She was 89 years young, a loving wife, devoted mother, wonderful grandmother and great grandmother. She was just Nanny to all who knew her. Nanny had a special love for her church family where she is a member of The First Baptist Church in Skidmore, Texas.
Nanny was preceded in death by her mother, Christine Marburger; her husband, Norris Lee Moreman; her brother, Marvin Lee Baccus; and a grandson, Darren Lee Marion.
After retiring from 25 years from Lichenstein’s Department Store in Corpus Christi in 1988, she moved to Skidmore, Texas. Among the many that will miss her, she is survived by her son, Leck W. Moreman (Elaine) of Skidmore, Texas; her daughter, Margie Lee Marion of Corpus Christi, Texas; 6 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 19, 2006 at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2006 at The First Baptist Church in Skidmore at 10 am. Interment to follow at Beeville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Marion, Jr., Sammy Moreman, Jimmy Moreman, Ryan Moreman, Trace Moreman and Joshua Johnson.

Mary Eva “Evita” Treviño, 56, of Beeville, died on Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at Christus Spohn Hospital in Beeville.
Ms. Treviño was born on May 23, 1947, in Beeville to Eva V. and Tomas M. Treviño Sr. She was a florist at Treviño Flower Shop.
She is survived by her parents; one daughter, Anna Arredondo of Beeville; two sisters, Nancy (Ernest) Cano of Beeville and Janie (Frank) Moreno of Hutchinson; two brothers, Tommy (Noemi) Treviño of Beeville and Ony (Alice) Treviño of George West; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Rosary was to be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at Treviño Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated today (Saturday) at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with the Rev. Balaswamy Pasala officiating. Special music will be provided by Fernando Cisneros. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
